At home, I use my French press coffee maker to stir cocktails like this. It's wider than what he's using but it has its own strainer built in and I can make several servings at once. And it's the best way to make coffee!

I always do a vermouth rinse if its gallo or martinellis, but if I have a good quality vermouth like lillet this way works perfect.

I absolutely love this guy and his technique is spot on…apart from the glass! Why he wouldn't use a classic martini glass I cannot fathom. That said, I cannot fault his approach: this is a martini I'd be happy to drink.

Because this IS a "classic martini glass". The glasses you are referring to came much later.

Good but not great I'm afraid.
Great would be remembering the orange bitters but it's still something I would be happy to drink.

Simon C 'I'm afraid' no one gives a fuck or needs validation from your pathetic meaningless opinion.

Simon C bitters is not the original recipe you can't make everyone happy

Be prepared to have a lot of people returning your drink if that's how you make it as default.
