I've been using Vaseline around my eyes since I was 16. Started using Olay moisturizers in my 30's and a Retinol product 4 years ago, at night. I'm 54. I was watching a show with my 20 year old son and I felt him staring at me then he said "You have no wrinkles". I will vouch for this routine!

    1. Use a retinoid
    2. Protect sensitive areas when using a retinoid, use Vaseline. Don’t slug over the retinol. Just protect sensitive areas like the eyes and lips
    3. Go to bed on time, get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. Use silk pillowcases or a beauty pillow

Black ppl has been using Vaseline FOREVER..our skin gets dry so we have to use Vaseline and I swear our skin does not wrinkle as fast as most ppl.

I think the reason is because of evolution your skin is thicker than white skin. That’s why black, olive and darker skins age later than thin white skin like mine. I saw a black woman in the swimming pool, her skin was silk, her black body had the usual volume, I said to myself I wish I was black, I prefer to have thick and tougher body than thin white skin and weak body.

I slather my lips and face with Vaseline at night. I even use it on my feet. I’m 41 and my coworkers thought I was in my late 20’s. So either black don’t crack or Vaseline works wonders.

Thnx Dr.! Great tip on the Aquaphor and Retin A - using my Retin for many years now, every night; a little goes a long way - first apply Vichy's '89 Serum then Retin A, top up with Vichy's Collagen Night Cream and it feels divine. Lately added African Rooibos Serum, full of anti-oxidants.

You need to do only a 1 minute night time routine. Just use a collagen and keratin treatment as a facial mask. Skinlyte has a soap that is loaded not only with collagen but also keratin peptides. It is called Hair & Whole Body Bar. It is fast absorbed because it has an enhanced peptide binding enhancement technology which produces water molecules in a condensation reaction that hydrates skin and hair naturally. It repairs, rebuilds and strengthens hair and skin. I got it at Amazon and I am impressed with new benefits I discover every time I use it. I noticed many improvements in my hair, skin and nails. What I like best about it is that it's all natural and without harmful chemicals such as synthetic dyes, fragrance, SLS or preservatives.

Great info, I’ve been pretty obsessed with skincare these last several months and thanks to you I’ve found a terrific vitamin C (Maelove Glow Maker). Really good stuff!
I’m even using it to help with some of the sun damage to my arms. The years of wearing tank tops has caught up with me.
Which brings me to my question, suggestions for over all body creams?
I’m using Gold Bond “age renew” with retinol and peptide complex.
    Curious what your thoughts are?

There is one very important thing to know about Vaseline though, it causes facial hair to grow. Not like a beard or such but, yeah, some of y'all may see littlew hairs popping out like I did LOL. I had to quit using it and the hair I plucked did not regrow, thankfully! Now I'm thinking about slathering my scalp with it at night to get my frail hair to grow in stronger JK....sorta.
