At basically MSRP, you got the right car. The Type S is in essence the Type R but with better materials, sound deadening, and a slightly better tune. It also looks more sophisticated. The GR Corolla will be a collector's item, and has the trick adjustable 4WD, but is much smaller, has fewer creature comforts, and has a cheaper interior.
I will never understand the fascination with hatchback cars. I wish the whole "hot hatch" craze would die a fiery death. More "hot sedan" please. This is why the Type S is appealing to me. It's a hatch, but it really kinda looks like a coupe/sedan.
Damn you got my car. I’m the guy that gave up the car. I was waiting for it since march but the hype died for me during the wait. I was literally on the phone with bmw ordering the m3 when Acura Pleasanton called me saying my car was there. I hope I don’t regret it but I may come back to the Acura in a few years.
I have a 2019 GT3 Touring and recently bought a 2023 Civic Si as my economical daily driver and occasional canyon carver. I am really impressed how the FWD handles.
Good on you, mate. 22' FE1 Si owner here in Sonic Grey Pearl as well. It's the best daily that is also a complete package with all the features it packs that I've ever owned & it has excellent looks too, you know. Have uou done any mods on yoirs yet and wh
Woah are you my twin?? I have a 2018 Touring and daily a 22 Si! Love it for commuting and as a family car. Don’t tell me you have a 993 as well, that would be spooky
Haha. I wanted a 993 a few years back but the prices are higher then I care to pay. I have been looking for a 996 C4S since I had one and miss it. Prices for the 996’s have spiked too!
No mods at the moment. I was going to put on a set of the Pilot 4S’s, but decided to just keep the stock all seasons for now. They are fine for the occasional canyon. I was thinking of maybe the SiriMoto front engine strut though, since it’s an inexpensive mod.
As a 9 month owner of an FL5, I think you've made the right decision, especially at close to MSRP. These cars are phenomenal on track but it's a bummer the Type S lacks the track software and any decent gauges (oil/air temps, etc). I still love it and will look forward to more of your content!
Curious to hear your tracking experience. I know the FK8s overheated quickly. Have you experienced the same thing? Do the front tires get greasy quickly?
@@danielmembrillo6472 I mostly do socal canyons with only 1 track day at SOW 100% stock. I'm a novice so wasn't pushing very hard but tires and cooling held up fine in 20 min sessions. If I'd get more into it I'd probably go with the more common '18 setup.
I'm REALLY feeling your channel. I agree with 90+% of your takes lol. I had the exact same thought process when I bought my Performance Red Pearl ITS last week. Can't wait to see more content on this car!
IMO the Type S is such a good all-around package. While serious performance machines were garaged/parked most of the time, you can just drive/enjoy this car everyday. It's also great value compare to CTRs with all the ridiculous markups.
Interesting choice. As a modded MK7 GTI owner, I miss power oversteer and all of the fun a performance RWD car can offer. Having said that the Integra Type S is really sweet, but I think a 2 door version Integra, like the Civic SI 2 door would have been even sweeter.
I’m a rwd and BMW guy for sure, but have much respect for the CTR and ITS. you really can’t fault it for anything given todays car prices. To get something a lot more capable and fun you are giving up the comfort stuff like you said. Or you are spending 10s of thousands more. Congrats and I think you’ll really enjoy this car. Also I live close to Acura of Pleasanton I might see you on the street sometime haha
@@willjimenez9013 much less of a riot but still a joy to drive. Better fuel economy and lower running costs across the board because it’s a Honda product still and not a BMW M
Congrats!! I found a couple FL5's at $5k over, which was basically $50k selling price. I bought my DE5 last week Thursday for MSRP and couldn't be happier with the decision. I felt like with the FL5, I would be compromising on not just features and comfort, but also on my morals of not paying over MSRP. Even if the FL5 was at true MSRP, I would still pay more for the DE5. I'm more than happy and I have the exact same color! Congrats!
Love the way you verbalized the logic behind the purchase. Sounds like exactly the type of thinking I would have done if I was in the market for this category of car. Great purchase and looking forward to more content.
Great content! Haven daily driven an E46, BRZ and S2000. I myself a little older, was in search of some creature comforts as well. Originally in pursuit of a CTR, I could not justify the 10-15k market adjustments. Local dealerships within my area had a few Integra Type S that I had strongly considered all at MSRP kudos to Acura! Ultimately I placed a deposit on a Elantra N, Performance Blue a hair under MSRP. Never driven one but, I’m confident it will check all the boxes.
You made the much better choice my friend in going with the Type-S over the GR Corolla. I bought a GR Corolla without a test drive and the suspension was so firm and harsh that I ended up selling it after a month, and luckily made money on it. I just bought myself a 2019 Miata RF Club and it's got to be one of the most fun and entertaining cars I've ever owned.
@@willjimenez9013 My new Miata Club is a sports car too, but it has a tolerable, compliant sporty ride without being a really harsh, overly firm jarring ride, and it's still a sports car. The GR Corolla ride is extremely harsh. I ended up selling mine for a tidy profit.
@@willjimenez9013 My Porsche Boxeter had a comfortable yet sporty ride, not harsh at all, and last time I checked it considered a sports car too. Just because a car is a sports car does not mean it has to have an overly firm harsh ride quality.
Man im so happy for you dude. I put in a deposit for the white months ago and I am still waiting. And im still not guaranteed MSRP. Im praying i get the same deal as you. Enjoy it man!
I was originally looking at the Civic Type R, but then I realized that most dealers are charging insane markups. The dealer near me added $30k to the MSRP. I told the salesman that I would rather just get a Integra Type S. And your video confirms that choice for me. You have the exact exterior/interior color combo I want. As soon as my GTI 0% APR loan is paid down a bit more, this will be my next car!!
Super exciting. Test drove this car and loved it. Steering was so direct, manual was amazing, much better than my BGTS4.0. I am really interested to hear your track impressions, especially cooling on a hot day. If you give it the thumbs up on track fun, I’m going to buy one. The well rounded nature and special feeling I got on the test drive has me 90% there already.
Congrats! You know, when the new Integra came out I wasn’t really sold. But the Type S seems solid. Still kinda wish Type R and Type S were 2/3 doors though.
Congrats Fenton. I would have gone with the ITS as well vs the other choices. Looking forward to you adding another S2000 to the stable in the future. Would be interesting for you to do a comparison between a 2021 FK8 (LE) vs the ITS.
I actually recently switched from an FK8 to an S2K since it was my 2nd "fun" car and a drunk driver totaled my FK8. Market is insane but I 100% agree with your rationale. FK8/FL5/Type S platform is on fire right now because for the price you get a very capable car, that can still haul a decent amount of stuff (my fk8 had so much room with the seats down) + awesome mpg etc. I liken them to the perfect swiss army knife platform.
Wanted and Type R but mark ups are ridiculous. Picked up a 23 si was totally disappointing. Traded in my si and got this my type s for 2 over. Which was negated by the 35k trade in for the si. It is wonderful out of the box. I have owned a 19 gt35O and 21 Mach 1. Loved them but the power delivery was not practical for the street. This is truly wonderful for those in the market.
Congratulations! I have to admit, the Type S has been looking mighty tempting from my BRZ. But then again I'm not going on track, so I think I'll probably keep it. We'll see.
Well I think you made a right decision man. My friend just got a GRC and brought it to BW, first session around 87 F, 3 laps LSD overheated. For the rest of the day, LSD overheated just after 2 laps, and he ended up sitting in the garage for the most of the time. He sold his GRC next day.
Congrats! 100 percent the right buy, and MSRP too. Looking forward to future videos, even ones where you’re not sending it through the twistys. It’ll be great to learn more about the fl5/de5 platform from your perspective.
Congratulations on your decision and purchase! If I were already in the market for a fun, practical, reliable, new car today, then I’d probably do the same at that price point. While painful to pay$50K+ for what, at its base, is a Honda Civic, all the great things about the ITS make it worth the money, IMO. With regard to your other choices, I was close to buying an SS 1LE, Mustang Bullitt (before the Mach 1 was announced), Supra, or CTR. My family felt the SS 1LE was “off-brand” for me (they don’t understand my love for muscle cars), and I lucked out by finding a Cayman R at about the same price (before things got crazy). All that being said, I can see myself looking for a lightly used ITS in a couple years’ time as a DD. Enjoy every mile, and I’m looking forward to your canyon drives and comparisons!
I think you did well for yourself getting the DE5. The GR Corolla is perhaps the least attractive of all the options - you save money, sure, but you're reminded of how cheap the car really is every time you get behind the wheel. Sad to see the ZD8 go soon, but I can't argue with the logic. That said, you, Kevin, and Chris have inspired me to save up for a GR86 as my first sports car, and I'm still inching my way towards that goal - and still hopeful for a long-term solution to the oil starvation issues.
Fairly certain I spotted you on 580 probably on the day this was filmed, I was in my 21' black GTI just cruising. The integra looks awesome, congrats on your buy!
Hah I was just in the same position regarding my ‘22 BRZ. I was also looking at RWD options in the same price range and looked at the exact same cars. I also drove a new m240i, but was kinda disappointed with it. I ended up buying an FK8 Type R and I’m very happy with it. The Integra is great! Congrats.
Our stories are mirroring. I put a deposit down with a dealer. I’m 15 to 20 on a waiting list. My price is MSRP plus an add on for tint, nitrogen, and wheel locks. My color choices were anything but silver, black, or grey. Look forward to your vids on the car. Great way to get to know the car through shared experience while I wait.
I feel you man. I went through similar mixed feeling tracking my ND1 because of the prominent transmission issues. I would have likely sold it if there wasn't an accessible solution in the aftermarket yet like how the BRZ issue may never be fixed with this motor. Congrats on the Type S and hope you get a lot of fun miles out of it! I think you'll find your way in a RWD car to track at some point
Fortuitous timing with the dealer! Looking forward to hearing updates as you put more miles on her. I’m over in Ptown /Livermore a few times a week, and also enjoy some of those surrounding roads. will keep an eye out for you !
Congrats, I'm a 2nd-generation BRZ owner, too, have been fascinated with the Integra Type S and have been going through the same thought process as you have. Looking forward to vicariously experiencing the car through you at least, lol.
Nice video and congratulations on the car. In the market for the SS 1LE. This video definitely made me rethink what I really want. But still going with the 1LE. Keep up the good work 👍
People need to say it for what it is. It's nothing to do with maturity, it's everything to do with being able to afford a nicer car ha! As you get older on average you get more money. Congratulations on your Integra they are so awesome!!
Type S is a no brainer. I might have to contact your dealer as my local dealer wants 10k adm and 5k in accessories. The type s in my eyes would be a great daily in place of my evo. Congrats on the new car! I’m jealous and that’s the color combo I wanted! Haha
Congrats! I’m in the market for a third car. Already have a truck and a ss1le that I track. Considering many things and narrowed down to an Emira (have a 2yr deposit already), 981 boxster S and a S2000. I’m all over the place and previously discounted the Type R/S due to ADM. Pleasanton is local to me too. If they are essentially selling at sticker, the Acura now becomes a strong possibility for all the reasons you indicated. Great review!
Just my two cents. I have a 981 GT4 that I love but recently just picked up an AP2 S2000 and it’s been my favorite car I’ve ever driven in stock form. Could be worth trying it out at least while you wait on that Emira. As long as you don’t need torque and love high revving cars, the S2K is hard to beat.
@@dsher503 I appreciate the perspective! The s2000 would definitely fit in the garage a lot easier than any other car. I also love the reliability and the ease of repair/maintenance. I drove one about 3 months ago and I was giggling most of the time. I already have the Camaro that provides all the torque and track use I need. The truck provides all the practicality. The s2000 is a very possible 3rd car. And unlike the Emira or Boxster, I could beat on it or get a rock chip and not be heartbroken. Is the steering as numb and upsetting as some make it out to be? Is the lack of torque ever seriously frustrating or off putting?
@@dabjabar No problem! I need to get in a 1LE at some point. The visibility and my preference for mustangs always kept me away but I have nothing against a Camaro and need to cross it off my bucket list at some point. How solidly built the S2K feels is a big part of the charm. I test drove an AP1 before buying my AP2 and I’ll say if you’re going to drive the car even occasionally in traffic or on errands, get an 04+. The increased torque is noticeable but not crazy different. It was enough though where the AP2 feels relatively “normal” around town vs the AP1 where I was like, “ok I gotta give it a lot of revs/gas from a stop or on a hill. Another big difference to me was the feeling of the transmission. Full disclosure, the S2K I bought was a 2 owner with 30k miles and the AP1 I test drove had 120k. I wish I could drive a mint AP1 to compare but my overall recommendation would be buying as clean/well taken care of an AP2 as possible. Also has a tiny bit more storage in the AP2 but if it’s a 3rd car, you probably don’t need that. The steering is definitely not great but it isn’t something that is on my mind at all when pushing the car. Compared to new cars as well the steering is still better by far imo. My GT4 has better steering and an 07 STI I had was great but the S2K is so good overall I don’t mind. All that being said, if you decide to go S2K, try to drive as nice an AP1 and AP2 as close together as possible. It’s very personal and you may end up being someone who really loves the AP1. For me I thought I’d miss the 9k rev limiter but as I’m not tracking, revving to 8k on a backroad is 95 percent as fun as 9k and I prefer many other parts of the AP2 which made it an easy choice for me. Long comment over! Lol.
@@dsher503 Thanks again for more info. Yeah, I will say if you ever drive on track, you should give the 1LE MT a go. I test drove a M2 DCT right before test driving the Camaro and I was SHOCKED to like the Camaro so much more! It's been a beast and my favorite driver's car even with its shortcomings. Re 2000, I test drove the AP1 on street and an AP2 on track. It wasn't a fair comparison though because the AP1 was stock and the AP2 was modded for track. That said, I def had to wring out the AP1 to go at moderate pace. In some regard, that's part of the appeal (driving a slow car fast). However, I think I would appreciate a tad more torque. Therefore the AP2 is a strong contender. Now I need to find a cared-for car that's not selling for original msrp.
That last part may be difficult. S2000 prices are crazy right now! I'll definitely need to get into a 1LE at a track day. Sounds like an absolute blast. That's great that you've driven them both to some extent already though. You'll have to comment back here when you decide on which car to add. Also worth driving an NA Miata. Fun per dollar wise, I haven't had a better car. For 1/4th what I paid for my S2k I have about 90 percent of the fun in the miata. It's mostly just the ergonomics that suck and the lack of AC on my spec. @@dabjabar
Congrats! That blue is stunning. With the ITS actually dynoing a bit more than CTR I think its worth it for manual enthusiasts like us here, despite faster German cars available in this price range. This car also should be cheaper in the long run with JDM reliability. I was a bit disappointed that they have the tiger eye pearl instead of old yellow. Hope they bring it back in a few years.
I personally think the RWD sports car itch never goes away but look forward to the Type S content. Personally I don't think the FL5 Type R is worth the mark up(previous FK8 owner) so if given the choice between the two you made the right one. Sad to see you leave the BRZ tho but understand
Im glad you're dipping your foot into FWD Dual Purpose cars. Have had the Elantra N, as a dual duty car and man has it been amazing. Looking forward to your content on the TypeS. Btw, my next move is gonna be a SS1LE, M2Comp, CT4BW, or Supra as my dedicated fun car
@@danielmembrillo6472 ayoo thank youu man. Is the Camaro really a coffin inside, visibility wise? Also why are contemplating dumping it? the EN is no Type R/S but close enough that I'm curious
@@MK3504 It is like sitting inside of a tank, but its a sports car. I got used to it in 1 day. I HIGHLY recommend the 1LE. Awesome car...you must track it to experience its prowess. I already dumped it for the GT350.
Congrats on the new car! I hope as you post more videos about the ownership experience, you can compare it to the other options you had. I say that selfishly as I currently own an M2C manual and was considering trading in the car at some point for an FK8 Type R. I may consider trading in the M2C for an Integra Type S if the price is right. I previously have driven the M2 LCI DCT, M2C Manual, FK8 Type R and the last gen WRX STI. Although manual is fun on the M2C, I would say I get a more raw experience from the FK8 and WRX STI. The M2 sometimes feels like its better suited for a DCT. FK8 has a better manual shifter and the turn in is great, the WRX STI had amazing steering feel from the hydraulic steering. The M2C's steering is numb in comparison to those 2 cars and the manual shifting experience is not as great. The clutch on the M2C has a CDV, so the shifting/clutch engagement is not as smooth as the FK8. The steering feel is more numb. Where I love the M2C more is the engine for track use and the nature of RWD. Also love the looks of the F87 generation lol. Can't wait to hear more about your ownership experience!
Congrats, great choice! I'm surprised, thought you wouldn't switch to a FWD car. I haven't seen one in person yet, but I hope I catch your Teggy Type S in the canyons one day.
Would actually love to see you do more content around American muscle cars like the Charger, Mustang, Camaro as a change of pace from your typical comparisons/reviews of sleek sports cars. Love the content regardless tho!
The Type S looks much more evolved than the Type R. The boy racer look of the Type R might appeal to some folks, but that tacky added on wing looks ridiculous IMO. (Coming from someone who loved the big wing on their STi's) I got to drive a Type S and it was a lot of fun. I will be putting down a deposit for one myself here in a few months and trading in my 21' S4 for one. Agree with you on colors for the most part. I think White or Silver are the most boring though, with Apex Blue and Tiger Eye being at the top of my list for color choices. I really wish that they offered red seats in any of those two color combo's. Great video!
Seeing you in a car with leather seats and seeing how comfortable you look, while talking about hitting the track hard is throwing me off lmao Congratz on the car!
Congrats on the new ride! Great to hear that some dealers are actually selling at/near MSRP. I hope that Pleasanton Acura’s respect for their customers pays off for them. Is that GR Corolla you mentioned the one for sale in Dublin for $10k over MSRP?
2024 Mustang GT Premium fully loaded is around 60,000 MSRP. Proformance pack, MagneRide suspension, etc. You can order with whatever specification you desire within reason. The dealer puts in the order and the customer gets a url from Ford Motor Company with tracking. The wait times may vary depending what is ordered. The Explorer ST comes with a free performance driving school. The Focus ST and Fiesta ST came with a performance driving school as well.
If i could only have one car for all purposes this would be a top pick for me. Not sure if id choose it over an M2C though. Def would pick this over a CTR. Kudos to acura honda for making this product
First time seeing the 2024 Type S. Look sharp and I noticed the frame and vehicle architecture appears to be shared with the 11 Gen Civic.... very interesting ride!
I got one too and also as an impulsive purchase. I think it's one of those cars you can't just let the opportunity pass you by. I have a GR86 10th anniversary, and a C43 AMG and they are all fun in their own way. I can say I'm lucky to own a good rear wheel drive, a good all wheel drive and now a good front wheel drive. My GR86 is not a daily as it is lowered and I have a stiffer suspension. The C43 is a very nice daily driver but it is not manual. The Integra checks a lot of boxes. Only 2 things I can say could be better in the Integra are the seats which are short of bolstering, and the lag with the torque in the Sport + mode. But I hope to at least find a way to reduce the lag with bolt ons and/or a tune. I can live with the seats as they are. Enjoy your Integra!
Congrats! Although I’m also firmly in the FE/RWD camp (and own/track a 6MT M2C plus a 6MT GR86), I’ve always been curious about the CTR/Integra Type S. Congrats! Can’t wait to hear more about your impressions!
@@1anre Not sure about Fenton, but if you're asking me, the GR86 and M2C are both very practical. I switch back and forth between them, and use a rear-facing car seat in both. If I have to haul a good amount of stuff, or my wife is coming with my daughter and I, then I'll take the M2C. It's tough to fit a passenger in the front seat (comfortably) if the car seat is behind the passenger seat. Wife has a big SUV, so we're rarely doing a family ride in the M2C.
That is a lust worthy Teg! I think back to 1988 when Senna and Prost were dominating F1 in their Honda powered beasts, and I would jump into my Prelude SI. It always felt mechanically refined and a bit special. As an 'old guy' now, my daily is a unicorn TSX Wagon. Old school Honda is the baseline for bitchen machines like your new ride. Good luck with it.
I knew you were close to the Bay Area but I didn’t know you lived in Pleasanton. That’s where my office is lol congrats on the car you definitely made the right choice over the gr corolla. The ITS has so much more road presence and the blue looks stunning in person. Enjoy it!
What a pleasant surprise! Never thought id see a FWD track car on this channel, but super pumped to see how it works out! Im going down the rabbit hole a bit on track prep mods with my 10th gen Si (first car ive done HPDE woth), and cant wait to hear how much (if any) you miss RWD on track. Just how green is that RWD grass 🤔
Previous 86,BRZ owner here and now in an i20N (uk) i test drove a GR86 the other day and even though i found it an improvement on my Previous cars there's still something missing for me regarding that platform 🤔 i think it's that flat 4s character or lack of... My little i20N is no proper sports car but u think its got more character and is just as capable round the bends..i will go back to a rwd car at some point. Hopefully Toyota brings us a true Toyota sports car soon 🙏
Congrats on the type s. Imo gr Corolla is such a hyped car that it doesn’t drive well as toyota market it to be. You made the right decision. Toyota fanboys can grille me but it’s the truth. Looking forward to future comparison videos. I drive 19’ golf 4motion wagon as a daily and although it is not as sharp as type s or r but with a manual i heel/toe and rev match every corner that it’s actually quite satisfying while taking my 2 little ones and hauling groceries. I also own gr86 and nsx 2.0 while still waiting for the type r at msrp.
Great deal my friend, congrats. The local Acura dealer near my house (where I bought my RDX A-Spec for my wife) asked me $5000 above msrp. I will take my RDX somewhere else for services from now on lol I wanted to stay below 55K too but at the end of the day brand new M2 manual starts around 62K so what the heck I ordered myself a red one
Hey Fenton, congratulations on the purchase, I wish you many happy and safe miles! Not sure this will be an equally satisfying track car, like the S2000 or the Brz, but you'll figure it out! Cheers!
Congrats! Awesome color and great decision. I agree with your decision especially at MSRP. Only thing that could sway others towards GR Corolla is if they want 4WD for snow conditions OR for drift events.
Been following your channel for quite some time now, and witnessing your progression from dailying the BMW 5 series, to the two Porches, then to the BRZ, and now a very special FWD performance car is truly thrilling. I am genuinely excited for you! I would’ve made the same choice if I had 50k for a daily/track car. (Ended up choosing a 2019 golf AWD manual sportwagon). This car is so out of your character, yet it perfectly aligns with your personal growth and maturity as you age. Congratulations! I can’t wait to see your track videos with the car and comparisons of the car!
Nice video. I am currently on the hunt for an FL5. So far it’s all been 10k-20k mark ups. After watching your video, I decide to hit up Acura dealerships, and see if get any luck at MSRP.

At basically MSRP, you got the right car. The Type S is in essence the Type R but with better materials, sound deadening, and a slightly better tune. It also looks more sophisticated. I really wanted the GR but that interior is offensive for what there charging.
I will never understand the fascination with hatchback cars. I wish the whole "hot hatch" craze would die a fiery death. More "hot sedan" please. This is why the Type S is appealing to me. It's a hatch, but it really kinda looks like a coupe/sedan.

Wow owning a GT3 and an Si? When you get in the Si do you still feel like the fun nature of it especially right after driving your GT3?

Interesting choice. As a modded MK7 GTI owner, I miss power oversteer and all of the fun a performance RWD car can offer. Having said that the Integra Type S is really sweet, but I think a 2 door version Integra, like the Civic SI 2 door would have been even sweeter.
Thank you for Saving the manuals and 4 doors too! That’s a rare combination. I hope loads people buy these new.
I almost read CTS lol
I rather buy a slightly used m2 competition for the same money rwd all the way
@@willjimenez9013 valid take. I’d say that’s what most would choose. But if someone chooses this I wouldn’t think that’s too crazy..
@@willjimenez9013 much less of a riot but still a joy to drive. Better fuel economy and lower running costs across the board because it’s a Honda product still and not a BMW M
Congrats on the Type S! Video sound so so clear! The car is so quiet and smooth!
Btw, my GR86 is in disbelief!!
Nice. Love Miatas!
I like firm suspension. That is just me.
It's a sports car what you expect
@@willjimenez9013
My new Miata Club is a sports car too, but it has a tolerable, compliant sporty ride without being a really harsh, overly firm jarring ride, and it's still a sports car.
The GR Corolla ride is extremely harsh.
I ended up selling mine for a tidy profit.
@@willjimenez9013
My Porsche Boxeter had a comfortable yet sporty ride, not harsh at all, and last time I checked it considered a sports car too.
The type s is one of the best dd I drove. Perfect for me honestly. The price you got is a steal.
I was gonna link you lol
My man Zygrene turning into an old man, appreciating refined and comfortable sports cars. Welcome to the club dude!
Congratulations! I have to admit, the Type S has been looking mighty tempting from my BRZ. But then again I'm not going on track, so I think I'll probably keep it. We'll see.
I'm very excited for this car to be on the channel. Can't wait to see more of it!
Love the Acura’s reliability and quality. Subscribed Liked. Look forward to more
I love it!
Your reasoning is why I bought a FL5 CTR
Proud of you brother! Sick S!
Plus, as a current 23 BRZ owner and former NSX owner, we think alike!!
The exhaust/exterior is the best part! I’ve owned both FL5 and DL5
I very much appreciate your perspective on this car. Many of the things you mention are what attracts me to the car. Congratulations on getting one!
Trade up for an ND2? It's so good
@@AlumarsX hahaha I'm too invested in it now. I got too many mods
I know your a true Honda fanboy at heart. Congrats man!! If I was gonna get a brand new ride I’d prob get the integ type s as well
That’s so badass, congrats man!
I have a teggy a spec with red interior.. I love it . Keep that type s bro
Wow it looks like wow in blue
Fortuitous timing with the dealer! Looking forward to hearing updates as you put more miles on her.
I’m over in Ptown /Livermore a few times a week, and also enjoy some of those surrounding roads. will keep an eye out for you !
Congrats! This is one special ride. I LOVE it and hope to get one as well. Enjoy!
@@dabjabar
Fantastic buddy, big congrats! Seems to be such a great car and I am jealous of you guys getting this car on the other side of the pond.
Nice little overview Zygrene, thanks for posting!
The Integra is a unique vehicle, I am eyeing it as my next vehicle too!
Congrats! Just bought an S2K from a guy who was replacing it with an ITS. Such a beautiful car.
Great choice! And good to know about the Pleasantant dealer. I'll pay them a visit when it's time for my Type S ✌🏻
Congrats on the car! I’ve been driving my brothers fk8 for the last 2.5 years and it’s an awesome car; looking forward to your journey with your ITS 😎
Congrats my friend, as a BRZboi I don't feel betrayed, but rather proud and happy for you. Saludos from México
Once a BRZBOI, forever a BRZBOI 🤎
I personally think the RWD sports car itch never goes away but look forward to the Type S content. Personally I don't think the FL5 Type R is worth the mark up(previous FK8 owner) so if given the choice between the two you made the right one. Sad to see you leave the BRZ tho but understand
Congrats! I love my FL5 as a daily driver and I’m sure the DE5 is even better. I look forward to watching your comparisons in the future.
Had a 1SS1LE, may move to a ITS or CT4VBW. Hit me with any questions.
The that 3rd car in your wishlist?
@@danielmembrillo6472 ayoo thank youu man. Is the Camaro really a coffin inside, visibility wise? Also why are contemplating dumping it? the EN is no Type R/S but close enough that I'm curious
@@MK3504 It is like sitting inside of a tank, but its a sports car. I got used to it in 1 day. I HIGHLY recommend the 1LE. Awesome car...you must track it to experience its prowess. I already dumped it for the GT350.
@@danielmembrillo6472your roster is insane, it's tough because I would like an A91 because of its capabilities but the 1SS just speaks to me.
Congrats bro u made a great decision on the type S (im saving up atm for the same one u have)
Was waiting for this for a couple of days to be uploaded! Thank you, cant wait to see whats next
Congrats on the new car! I’m contemplating on the type r. Looking forward to your future videos!
Seeing you in a car with leather seats and seeing how comfortable you look, while talking about hitting the track hard is throwing me off lmao Congratz on the car!
Congrats on the new car day! Would love to watch a back to back comparison with the type r
Congrats on the new ride! Great to hear that some dealers are actually selling at/near MSRP. I hope that Pleasanton Acura’s respect for their customers pays off for them.
Is that GR Corolla you mentioned the one for sale in Dublin for $10k over MSRP?
Nice car good thing you got the manual since Honda and Acura are in cvt hell
Same thinking here. I wonder why Zygrene preferred it over the M2C. Maybe the right one didn't come on in time?
Congrats! Great choice! I’ve got one on order. Can’t wait to see more videos of yours.
Congrats! Although, GR86 owner here, so I'll be sad to see the BRZ content stop, haha.
Back to the honda roots. Hell yeah i knew it was still in you!
Congrats! Although I’m also firmly in the FE/RWD camp (and own/track a 6MT M2C plus a 6MT GR86), I’ve always been curious about the CTR/Integra Type S. Congrats! Can’t wait to hear more about your impressions!
Which of the cars is your daily and you use to run around town for your kids and all?
Enjoy it!
Congrats! Excited to see this on the track!!
Man all I’m going to say is I own a GRC (absolutely love it) but experience wise you aren’t missing out with your car.
Nice color choice! I've got an A-spec in Apex blue/ebony, got it last year from Pleasanton as well with the same add-ons
Awesome man! Congrats! I’m glad I got a Miata ultimately, but if I hadn’t, this is exactly what I would have gone for.
Great deal my friend, congrats. The local Acura dealer near my house (where I bought my RDX A-Spec for my wife) asked me $5000 above msrp. I will take my RDX somewhere else for services from now on lol
I wanted to stay below 55K too but at the end of the day brand new M2 manual starts around 62K so what the heck I ordered myself a red one
Hey Fenton, congratulations on the purchase, I wish you many happy and safe miles! Not sure this will be an equally satisfying track car, like the S2000 or the Brz, but you'll figure it out! Cheers!
Congrats. This would be at the top of my list if buying a daily sedan right now.
Love it! Glad you got this over the GR Corolla! Let me know when you're planning on selling it hehe
Definitely a beautiful machine, but I want the GR Corolla. It's awd and I love hatchbacks.
Congrats! Awesome color and great decision. I agree with your decision especially at MSRP. Only thing that could sway others towards GR Corolla is if they want 4WD for snow conditions OR for drift events.
You took best decision opting type s rather than gr
Holy... did not see this coming. Congrats!
Would love to see a comparison with the Mk8 Golf R. Feel like the Golf R would’ve been more in your character.
Nice video. I am currently on the hunt for an FL5. So far it’s all been 10k-20k mark ups. After watching your video, I decide to hit up Acura dealerships, and see if get any luck at MSRP.
The DE5/ITS is such a nice car!
