      Suicide is selfish though. As someone diagnosed BPD, anxiety, ptsd, suicide is selfish. I’ve been so suicidal many times. Unaliving yourself just takes your pain and spreads it to your loved ones.

    • @LunaBeth97
      @LunaBeth97 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@babygirrrl5147yeah, it's a really difficult topic to navigate tbh. It's incredibly painful to have to live every day when you really don't want to and being told that it's selfish to finally end it really fucking sucks. But then I experienced being on the other side of things where I have been terrified that I'd wake up to find a loved one dead and watching someone in hospital being on the verge of death multiple times. It's a pain you can't really conceptualise until you experience it, especially so when you're hurting so much. I now view it like you're carrying a bomb of pain that'll explode and spread to people who love you (including people you'd never even consider would be affected by your death) but it can (and will) eventually go away or become easier to live with over time and therapy. That idea kept me alive in my worst time when my literal first thought of the day was of killing myself. I have a lot more complicated feelings about my sister's current suicidality that do include being angry at her "selfishness" but realistically, it's just a really shitty situation for everyone involved and it's a type of "selfishness" that I have to forgive. Like there's different degrees/ types of selfishness with some being worse than others and some being more understandable than others so it's really complicated. To the original commenter, I'm really sorry to hear that you have to live with this. It's really fucking difficult but life can always get better. Even if there's a 1% chance things will improve, it's better than the guaranteed 0% chance that suicide causes. But I do truly hope it gets better sooner rather than later for you.

    • @Dekiams
      @Dekiams 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      @@babygirrrl5147 It might be selfish in a way, but we are allowed to look after our own mental health first. If someone doesn't see any way to get better, nobody cares about them and actually actively helps them in the way they need to feel better, the suffering whether it be mental or physical can become so much with no way out or ever feeling okay again and nobody who is there for them. It's a relief for them - the only way to feel better again or end the pain/nightmare they live. And people close to them that care will understand and be "happy" for them in a way knowing they are in a better place now. Death is always said in a way as someone you were familiar with or even cared about is suddenly gone. But keeping someone from ending their suffering is just as selfish as you let them be tortured just because you would be missing them from your life.

      The selfishness thing is always thrown around. And you know what else is selfish? Person A wanting Person B to stick around no matter how unhappy they are, just to make Person A feel better. See? The selfish card can be played both ways.

      I think it's that both of them have literally no filter, so whatever they think they just say (hence "you're honest to a fault"), but they both also enjoy telling little white lies which involves some forethought. It's almost like when little kids lie about certain things concerning themselves to be cool like "I go to bed at midnight". It's not true, but ultimately the lie isn't hurting anyone lol. This is just my take. I've never been a fan of Trisha, but I'm very into her motherhood/mentally healthy era

    -Colleen has been unfunny since I turned 12
    - tana has always given me mean girl who is “so real”. I feel like tana isn’t terrible like the other LA people but she’s def bitchy.
    -I’ve weirdly always loved trisha, I think she’s done terrible shit but she reminds me of my mom, like if me and my mom were a person it would be trisha
    - trisha and Colleen videos always gave me weird vibes cause Colleen didn’t seem as relevant in the TH-cam space that Trisha was in. Example: if Ryan Reynolds and a Disney star collaborated, they are in totally different playing grounds and is just odd.

    Seeing the videos of Colleen and Trisha, and Colleen trying to always have the better story to tell, reminds me so much of the mukbang she did with Rachel (her sister) at the end of 2019 or at the start of 2020. It was their recap of 2019. Colleen was not at all interested in hearing about Rachels highlights of the year, and she just wanted to brag about what she had done herself. It's so bad to see how Colleen was towards Trish, but to know that she can be like that with her own family, its not that shocking to see the mukbangs she had with Trish.
