You can also ask for a judge to give consequences like she's no longer allowed to do certain things not just monetary sanctions you might be able to keep her from the Internet

I've been talking about this elsewhere but it's important. PSA for the girls and young women out here: if you have someone much older than you around telling you how you're sooooooooo mature and all that.... You aren't. They want something from you and you need to do everything in your power to say far away from that person.
This is an extremely common manipulation (g-r-o-o-m-i-n-g) technique used on young girls. It's normal that you feel alienated-the world is especially cruel to you-of course you can't wait to grow up, and that attention from older people makes you feel good... But they are not your friend, that cool older guy who flirts with you is a LOSER creep, and they are not your escape from the cruel misogyny directed at young girls and women. You're enough, protect yourself 💜

Was coming to say something along these lines. I think it is important for kids to have other trusted adults in their lives that they can go to if they can't talk to their parents about something (this is especially important for lgbtq+ kids or any kid who might be in an unsafe home situation), and that can't be limited to teachers or other authority figures that the kid thinks might get them in trouble if they go there either. I get where people are coming from when they're like "No adult should be friends with a kid EVER" but I do think it can be dangerous to swing too far in that direction. As someone who never had a childhood due to truama. I cannot stand people who think it's good to have "mature children" mature children means something very traumatic happened.
I had to grow up fast to survive. I was making my own meals at like 5/6. I learned how to safely use the stove..and take "care" of myself.. obviously I wasn't taking great care of myself. But it was enough to survive. My mom was checked out and my dad not around.
I lost my only bff at 9..
I was so emotionally disconnected from my peers. It felt like I was the only one it was okay to bully and harass mentally and physically. Even teachers and teachers aids joined in.
No one understood me in my peer group because they where all having actual childhoods..

Mature children are traumatized children. Some healthy, well-adjusted children are comparatively responsible or intelligent, but kids who aren’t just nurturing, but parental, who aren’t just well-read, but worldly, who aren’t just articulate, but seem adult-that’s not a mature child, it’s a hurt child. I’m so sorry you didn’t get to have a childhood. It wasn’t fair, and it’s so wrong that adults who should have protected you joined in on the bullying. I wish you healing, freedom, and joy in your adulthood. ❤️‍🩹

    • @sngray11

Exactly! A “mature” child is a child that has endured a lot of trauma. My parents divorced when I was five and my narcissist mother (who also has other untreated mental illnesses) was checked out when she wasn’t abusing us so I had to teach myself how to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. to take care of myself and my two younger sisters. Add onto that my uncle (my mother’s brother) molesting me from age 3 and my mother allowing it to continue when I went to her after it first happened. I had to grow up quickly and I was way more mature than a majority of my peer group as well. I too have had to deal with having my best friend pass away. It has taken me a lot of therapy, EMDR, etc. to get to the point that I am not constantly triggered, but this isn’t something I would wish upon any child. Not having the opportunity to have a childhood was brutal. And I am so sorry to hear that you experienced something similar to me growing up. 💔 I wish you all of the best on your healing journey. 💞

@fukaikokoro I grew up a mature child because my parents loved and taught me to respect people, my parents expected well behavior from all of us growing up or else there would be consequences. You and everyone agreeing with you need to change their mindset on "mature" children, didnt have anyone to guide you so you took the initiative to lead yourself, thats willpower thats not being traumatized. Keep an open mind that your childhood is just YOUR childhood. Everyone goes through trauma but not everyone becomes mature after the trauma they go through, some people go through a hell amount of trauma as kids and some of those same kids are now the most immature adults in the world right now, they are also deemed by the government "undeveloped" !! @sngray11

Jojo, right now, is still in it and thinks the "good" side Colleen is presenting to her is her real self and who knows what Colleen is telling her behind the scenes, playing the victim. plus when you're in your early 20's, you're still immature and Jojo has definitely some stunted growth due to her lifestyle. give it time and Jojo will eventually see what we all see and come to terms with it and realize Colleen has used her too. when you only see someone's good side, its hard to believe when you hear bad things about them until, a lot of the time, you're out of the friendship or they show their true colors to your face.

That's the exact same as victim blaming. She can be called out and held accountable without jabbing a finger in her face of "you should know better". It’s seriously been so amazing watching Trisha grow as a person over these past few years, and especially after she had her daughter. You can tell she has become MUCH more mature and mentally-sane, and I’m honestly so proud of her and what she has accomplished.
She has truly been through so much growth, and I hope she is happy that she seems to be in such a good place right now, despite everything that has been going on around her recently.

Its not that JoJo was profiting off of these collabs it is the people she was collabing with that were the ones grappling for the profits. Jo Jo was the one being used and its sad that she cannot recognize that. She cannot recognize it because she has been used as a tool for profit her entire life. No matter how sweet her family may seem we also need to remember that her family are the ones that expolited her at such a young age for PROFIT. Adam, I'm 25, and I think of myself at 21 as a baby 😂 hope you have/had a great 21st birthday and keep fighting back against the four horsemen of TH-cam

like she is 100% right in what she is saying and people are allowed to criticize things that are wrong even if they have done themselves…but girl don’t act like you’re a beacon of morality when u did weird stuff too

For people who don't know/don't want to look it up : Rachel Ballinger is 12 years older than JoJo, which means they were 12 and 24 when they first started hanging out (through Coleen, I presume?). Extremely creepy and weird.
