Thanks for the review. I have an older model: ACER Nitro N50-600G-EW11 Gaming Desktop, Core i5-8400, GTX 1050, 12GB RAM, 1TB. I have added a small SSD drive to help with the speed. I have tried to replace existing ZOTAC GTX 1050 with first a MSI GTX 1060 which resulted in a no signal to the monitor. Thinking the GPU to be faulty. I returned it. An ordered an Sapphire Pulse RX580. With the same problem. No signal to monitor. Here are the steps I followed for install: Use DDU to uninstall existing Drivers. Powered down, drain power from unit. Place new RX580 in unit. RX580 fans spins. The Acer will go through 2 false starts before powering up. Monitor will show no signal. Tried with 2 different hdmi cables and 3 different monitors no luck. Tried taking out CMOs and Ram sticks. But no luck. Currently back using original 1050. Any ideas what I've been doing wrong? Appreciate it!

    1. Take the front panel off and run an rgb strip down the middle. Some nice light will pass through the red vents on the front panel.
    2. Cut a square out of the side panel and put a plexiglass window in it.
    3. Run a second rgb strip inside, along the top of the case to get some illumination going inside.
    4. Cheap rgb fan at the back of the case to finish off the look (since there are some heathens out there that dont like the rgb puke look).
Then turn all the lights to red to match the theme of the case and BOOM! that'll be a good looking little thing. Plus if you tint the window you wont even notice that the inside of the case is silver.

Could we get your best attempt at improving air flow and the case visuals? I know you said you wanna put this build away for good but you truely got a pretty nice unique build going and with TLC you could probably sell the finished product to make some side cash? Picture it! Maybe some case stands to lift it up a inch or so? A bottom cut out and a dust filter to spruce up the GPU area a bit. Maybe a fresh coat of paint on the shiny bland silver metal? Cut some bits from the front plate and get some airflow going for the AIO? I'm just saying I'd love to see you continue this sleeper and make it into that Skynet T-1000 it's dreaming of becoming.

Hey Dawid, I’ve been watching your shows for quite sometime and appreciate all that you have done. Please keep up your awesome work/advice/expertise!
I’m currently looking to buy a new pc (ground zero kind) and would love a video on what/where to buy and what/where not to buy when starting out fresh.

You could install your own power button to the back of the case with a simple 2 wire push button. Just drill a hole out in the back metal and thread the button on to it.

You should make a hole at the bottom of the case and add standoffs to the case for the GPU to breathe somewhat. Also a exhaust fan would help with the temperatures a little bit

I think the only appropriate follow up video to this is a viking funeral for the Acer Nitro using thermite. The ad revenue generated from that video would pay for about 10 more Acer Nitros.

I absolutely love that idea! I will see what it would take to get something like that done. 😂

    Awesome video
Why not add a rear fan? Or cutout the bottom for a slim fan to get at least some air moving?

I wanted to add a fan but unfortunately didn't have the correct size. 👍
