In Fortnite I could not actually tell the difference. 2.5 Months later a Friend bought and returned my system to me (I can't even explain how awesome this guy is). Anyway moving back to a 3070 and 5600X was shocking, there were things I didn't even realize I had missed. The Experience in PUBG was not comparable, it was like it was a different game, I went from doing badly, and not liking the game to it just feeling right again and really enjoying it. Again couldn't really tell the difference in Fortnite, but I stopped playing it not long after getting the good machine back. The PUBG thing really made think about game performance and perception, PUBG appeared to be working at an ok frame rate (60ish) and I didn't feel any hitches or big drops in frame rates (1% lows were fine) but the overall experience was sluggish somehow even though it looked to be working correctly. I wonder how many people get games "working" on lower end hardware and don't have a great experience and maybe blame the game when it is actually that unquantifiable performance hit that seems to be in your head. Again I wasn't sure it was actually an issue until I went to back to the good PC, and the clouds suddenly parted and sun shone directly on me again.
I'm not surprised it went this well. A tech guy using a pre-built is like a Jedi using a pocket knife. Yeah, it's not the right tool for their job, but they can make it work.
No joke today , after about 2 years with my Acer Nitro 50 I get a screen saying the PC has to be repaired and backed up. Literally an hour after watching this video and yesturday joking about buying a new PC. Wow.
Dankpods has a pair of modded bear dynamics with a removable cable. might check that out. I'd totally watch a video of you modding them or covering a modded pair.
One suggestion you should try the sceptre line of monitors they are lower in price but are actually really nice quality monitors they even have 144hz refresh rate monitors
I have a samsung g3 and i didn't notice this problem about blue haze and motion blur. The problem that I noticed is with dark background with anything white moving around fast. This ghosting is really weird. But in general use, no problemos. I am curious aabout the keybord that you showed us, i might get one in the future from razer.
One thing I think your set up could improve on is desk size, just with everything so close together it seems very cramped, but I love the vids and keep up the good work
I quite like number pads, but I can totally see the merit of buying a separate accounting one for the side for those who are not a fan for gaming reasons. They work super well with things like flight sims and other things that require a lot of pre-determined functions that you need only semi-casual access too. & if you really want too you can use them as an out right replacement for the keyboard hand too (for games that allow you to actually key bind properly)
So, i was going to buy a GTX 1650 priced at IDR 3.500.000 or about $244. But then i see a secondhand GTX 970 priced at IDR 2.500.000 or $174. Which one is better? Because when i watched Dawid's video, i often feel like "Does Dawid means this GPU is weak?"
I know it's not exactly the same as a pre-built desktop, but last month I switched over exclusively to a GL66 Pulse laptop with the 3070 Mobile version and I've gotta say that laptop setups have come a long way. I've been travelling too much to appreciate and use a desktop setup so I sold off my custom built with a 2070 + R9 3900x. I was using a Silverstone SG13 for the case to make it compact as possible, but nothing is more compact than a laptop. So far I love it, but I also sometimes miss having a paperweight that doubles as a high-end gaming PC.
I still game on a pretty modest setup, just a 1660-Ti paired with an older i7-7700K. Prior to that it had an RX 470 I think? I keep saying "yep, need to upgrade" but honestly I'm not hardcore enough to care. It does 1080p just fine and I rarely notice any lag. One day I'll get something incrementally better. I usually just get whatever previous generation GPU/CPU I can find on eBay or a friend is selling after they upgrade.
If I had to guess, the Samsung monitor has a lot of motion blur because it's a cheap VA panel, both the BenQ and LG are IPS. VA have great colours, black level and contrast, but have HORRIBLE ghosting that a lot of people don't mention. I bought an AOC 165 Hz monitor for 200$ CAD, that's a great price for a high refresh rate monitor, but it's a VA panel (and from what I've read, a better one than the Samsung Odyssey G3) and I barely use it for actual gaming outside of slower games, you can improve it a lot by enabling Overdrive and messing with Shadow Level or Black Equalizer, which basically makes black into moer of a dark grey, but you're sacrificing contrast and colour accuracy, so that's tradeoff.
It'd be a pretty chad move if Acer actually did release an Acer Loser Nitro Suck-Face Edition. I don't know if my wallet would be able to restrain itself.
I gotta say, it feels wrong not hearing Dawid say L I N O D E but I can live with it. Favourite line has to be about the razer headphones, "the crew SPECIFICALLY hate that bastard" was music to my ears.
i have an older hp omen with an i7 6700 and a gtx 1060. i can't complain that much tbh but what bothered me at the time back when i got it was the fact that McAfee would literally take up allmost 100% cpu utilisation while performing its scans. after noticing i instantly uninstalled that shit rip
The AiO of the GPU is installed incorrectly, the pump must not be above the inlet of the radiator. The pump will give up sooner or later because there is too much air in the pump.
The artifacting/ghosting on that monitor will be because of the terrible response times on the G3. 22.5ms total response time at max refresh rate, and 33ms total response time at 60Hz? Ouchhh. *Edit: the reason why it goes away on the LG monitor is because of the much better response times on that panel: 12.8ms total at max refresh rate and 16.4ms total at 60Hz.*
Quick question, how good is that cooler on your main PC? Got the mini 400 version of the same Deepcool cpu cooler and I'm wondering how good it is for your 11900k

Hey Dawid, you linked the cooler in the description twice. Great video!
I'm not surprised it went this well. A tech guy using a pre-built is like a Jedi using a pocket knife. Yeah, it's not the right tool for their job, but they can make it work.
I now want the tee that simply says "The Suckface" Please let the merch team know there is demand for this product.
I’m on it
No joke today , after about 2 years with my Acer Nitro 50 I get a screen saying the PC has to be repaired and backed up. Literally an hour after watching this video and yesturday joking about buying a new PC. Wow.
Love the comedy in these videos, truly one of the funniest tech youtubers and always a refreshing video
You gotta get a real set of 770's, I hear the 770 M's kinda suck and a decent chunk of that is the cable
Dankpods has a pair of modded bear dynamics with a removable cable. might check that out. I'd totally watch a video of you modding them or covering a modded pair.
Best ads in the business.
One suggestion you should try the sceptre line of monitors they are lower in price but are actually really nice quality monitors they even have 144hz refresh rate monitors
One of the only channels that if I see a video I instantly click! Another amazing video dawid keep it up!
As a DankPods fan, I was shocked and kinda happy to see you using the DT 770s
One thing I think your set up could improve on is desk size, just with everything so close together it seems very cramped, but I love the vids and keep up the good work
That fan mouse is actually a great idea....
Hey Dawid can you make video on the “Lenovo Y40-80” it’s an old gaming laptop from 2015. Good video idea right?
* looks sheepishly at my feet as i speak quietly " i has RAZER gear... i likes them... * and sticks tongue out at DAWID
I noticed this prebuilt was running Windows 11 when most others ran Windows 10.. I wonder if that has something to do with the Alma Possession.
Sacrificing one evil for another
I quite like number pads, but I can totally see the merit of buying a separate accounting one for the side for those who are not a fan for gaming reasons. They work super well with things like flight sims and other things that require a lot of pre-determined functions that you need only semi-casual access too. & if you really want too you can use them as an out right replacement for the keyboard hand too (for games that allow you to actually key bind properly)
3:14 I have a 1440p viotek I can't believe the difference high refresh and 360p makes! 1080P is FOR SCRUBS!
He couldn't even use a single stick of ram LOL. Day 86, I lost it. Maybe my neighbors wont report my hysterical laughing to the cops at 430am..
The "monitor lag" is called "VA 60Hz panel"
Love how your cat instantly wanted to go into the box of the monitor
What is the music at 6:06 ?
That whole skit was soooo good
8:54 Dawid Does Among Us
Dawid Does Tech Stuff:
To boldly go where no [PC building/destroying channel] has gone before!
You know, I first hated your intro, but it’s started to grow on me.
It'd be a pretty chad move if Acer actually did release an Acer Loser Nitro Suck-Face Edition. I don't know if my wallet would be able to restrain itself.
Saammme!
They could have Dawid's signature on the side 😋
I gotta say, it feels wrong not hearing Dawid say L I N O D E but I can live with it.
Favourite line has to be about the razer headphones, "the crew SPECIFICALLY hate that bastard" was music to my ears.
did he just press and hold the power button for 5 seconds like a fucken heathen?
i have an older hp omen with an i7 6700 and a gtx 1060. i can't complain that much tbh but what bothered me at the time back when i got it was the fact that McAfee would literally take up allmost 100% cpu utilisation while performing its scans. after noticing i instantly uninstalled that shit rip
To be fair, McAfee did that back going all the way back to Windows 3.1. Which is probably when the last good version of it came out.
The AiO of the GPU is installed incorrectly, the pump must not be above the inlet of the radiator. The pump will give up sooner or later because there is too much air in the pump.
I love that mouse so much it’s actually what I’m currently using
4:16 DO I SEE SINGLE CHANNEL RAM?! DAWID FOR SHAME!
Seems like the other stick doesn't light up.
Glad to see I am not the only one with poor cable management for the cables under my desk
That was such an entertaining video Dawid, well done.
Oh dear lawd the vinnerial disease of dawvid cable management in the back has me dying inside 🤣🤣🤣
You know you've made it when you've got 100 likes on a 15 minute video, 3 minutes after it's posted.
Just put tape around the headphone adjuster so it locks it in place.
We need some all in one gaming again
2:12 do they sell a full size keyboard?
Quick question, how good is that cooler on your main PC?
Got the mini 400 version of the same Deepcool cpu cooler and I'm wondering how good it is for your 11900k
I would love an architect's desk lamp with the arm your microphone has. You should have ended the video with Alma showing up on the screen and her disappearing as you turn to look at her.
