Amazing story about a very interesting but lonely man, I can see why you have enjoyed doing these. Your editing and art work is spot on, you have grown so much I think in confidence from when i first started watching your videos. I love your stories about Salford especially as I grew up visiting my nan around Cross lane and Regent Road, the old Salford that is no more. I was thinking the same. Would be interesting to read the Will. Find out if the young couple stayed in the house and why the beneficiaries didn’t build a beautiful monument instead of a cheaply made gravestone. He definitely had a Will as that is how he left instructions re his burial wishes. Maybe the plot thickens DM 😉
This was a great story, I could see why you left the best for last. Again, John's story rings close to home, my uncle was a recluse of sorts, definitely no millionaire, but well off enough. It's sad to think that for all these stories of these people that you covered, it was love, or love lost, which pushed them over the edge and out of society. Sad that there was no headstone for him, it's as if time had forgotten him, he certainly deserves one. Yeah, Another great one Anthony!

The only guy who showed us remotely any pure passion and interest was that Scottish guy Neil Oliver. I used to love watching him. You are definitely on a par with him!!! You should be well snapped up, for everybody to see 👀!!! Plus You also really connect personally and emotionally with your audience, because you add that extra bit of empathy. This is such a sad story. It reminds me of an old fella round the corner from me that I would see cutting wood In his front garden. And his house looked so dilapidated And run down. He would often be seen waving to the passing traffic. I recently noticed that his house is empty now and that he must have passed away. Awesome video mate . Top draw 👍🏻

I only walked past there on Saturday walking up to Argos on regent road. The council have completely destroyed regent roads history and surrounding areas. My Aunt and Uncle started their married life sharing a house with an old man , because , due to bombing in WW2 , there wasn't enough housing . It would be seen as a slum these days , it was demolished in the 70's . I've really enjoyed this series, l hope you do another one.
So sad this mini series has come to the end. fantastic true stories. The research, editing, back ground work, narrating so much of your expertise shows, and finally has come together. This very sad story of loneliness and loss of trust really hits hard, very sad. However was this by John' choice to live this way? or could he not live beyond his heartbreak. A very interest story, again, well told. There are many was to deal with grief, and each will find their own way. Alas, we only get one go at life and it seems such a waste to count down the time he had left in such a lonely way. I hope he peace and happiness in the next life.

Thanks for another excellent upload Anthony. A thought that came across my mind was maybe he opted for a very cheap headstone given his lifestyle and it didn't survive the elements as a result. I guess we'll never know. The key was a strange find though and I didn't think it was weird you talking to him,I found it heartwarming 😊

My Aunt and Uncle started their married life sharing a house with an old man , because , due to bombing in WW2 , there wasn't enough housing . It would be seen as a slum these days , it was demolished in the 70's . I've really enjoyed this series, l hope you do another one.

So sad this mini series has come to the end. fantastic true stories. The research, editing, back ground work, narrating so much of your expertise shows, and finally has come together. This very sad story of loneliness and loss of trust really hits hard, very sad. However was this by John' choice to live this way? or could he not live beyond his heartbreak. I know of a very interesting chap now passed who lead a very similar life. It would be amazing to see his story told by you DM. Brilliant. Keep them coming DM Thankyou xx

There are many was to deal with grief, and each will find their own way. Alas, we only get one go at life and it seems such a waste to count down the time he had left in such a lonely way.

Thanks for another excellent upload Anthony. A thought that came across my mind was maybe he opted for a very cheap headstone given his lifestyle and it didn't survive the elements as a result. I guess we'll never know. The key was a strange find though and I didn't think it was weird you talking to him,I found it heartwarming 😊
