    We installed the new console just like u explained. Went well. But like before console replace when starting up treadmill screen gets frozen on blue arrow ifit logo . And doesn't move on from there. It only started doing that when a service guy replaced brain board because we thought that was the problem. So ordered new console. Well now seems like its not the console. Maybe the Brain Board was done incorrectly?

    Thank you for the detailed video. I just purchased an older X22i that doesn’t have bluetooth and I didn’t realize it until after the fact. Can I upgrade it with a new console, wondering if the connections will fit each other? It is model NTL29016.0. Also, when I turned it on it did a bunch of updates and now it won’t connect to my internet and I don’t think there is a way to do a reset on it. I’m pretty bummed 🙁 Appreciate any help or advice you might be able to share with me.

      Often times after updates the console will need to be re set up with your network as it clears your SSID and passwords to your router. Check your Wi-Fi settings on your console. You should be able to reconnect manually. The options to use Bluetooth headphones is just a software update so after you are up to date the options to use a Bluetooth Headset will be available during your workout.

    Is it possible to add an HDMI (or other standard interface) input port? This treadmill would make an amazing treadmill desk. I would love to be able to utilize the large screen as a computer monitor. I understand why they don't want people piping in other video - so they can sell their own - but is it possible with a little DIY magic to add a video input?

    Is it possible to swap out different consoles . For instance if i have a Nordictrack 1750 treadmill could I swap out the console for the 2950? I hope this isn't a silly question I just cant seem to find any clarity on the web right now.

    Hi can I upgrade a x11i console with a x32i console? Seems like same motor same incline and decline as well.

      I think mechanically it will work. you will want to make sure it has the same wire harness and connections. Different generations used different wires and connectors. Because they were not meant to be swapped there is also possibility that the the console base and other mounting points will need to be modified. Very few models have a directly swappable consoles.

    My screen on the X22i is very dim even when I adjusted to full brightness. I can barely see the details on the screen. Probably have to replace the console??

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is likely. You may however want to try a couple things. The easiest of which is to to a Pin Hole Reset on the console. If it is a weird android setting thing this should restore the settings. If that doesn't work you may want to reach out to iFit support.They can help you reach your desktop Android settings and check there to see if anything needs to be adjusted. After that, I'm afraid, it is likely to be a replacement console.

    I need an x15i console. Do you think an x22i console would be compatible? I found one of those for only 250 vs 1200 for the x15i.

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Without model numbers and part numbers I can't tell you for sure. typically consoles will not work across different models... at least not w/out some modification. Also besides physically fitting and have the same wiring you also need to worry about things like roller size and incline range and console power requirements. Making this kind of swap is not usually recommended.

    My touch screen on my X32i stopped responf. Ding to touch within 1 week. The replacement is on order but hasn't shipped even after a week. Do you think of laying with the inner wire connectors will make it work?

    • @FitnessEquipmentHelp
      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the touch screen has power but is not responding to touch then it is almost certainty in the tablet. There is a pin hole reset that could resolve it if it is a software issue. Instructions for that are in the manual. If you mean the tablet does not have power then I do think you should check some wires out, specifically the wires that go to the dedicated tablet power supply. This could be indicated by the blue light on the speaker button being lit on the console bit the tablet not receiving power. This power supply is located down in the motor area. It is most easily accessed by tipping the unit on its side or forward onto the handlebars. Then removing the screws holding the motor cover. as seen in this video: th-cam.com/video/DqO1icK_JyI/w-d-xo.html
      It is mounted to the underside of the controller bracket. Since it faces the ground I think there is some possibility that gravity may have helped the wires come off. ;)

    Here is the issue I am experiencing: Upon power up the screen goes through the standard sequence but stays frozen on a stationary blue iFit logo and does not progress from there. I already have replaced the console on my x32i twice to no avail. Given that the same issue is present even after replacing the console twice I'm thinking that the console isn't the issue. Below are the procedures that I have gone through with Tech Support:
    Call 1:
    1. Pinhole reset
    2. Go into privileged mode
    3. Launch iFIT admin app
    4. Clear all caches
    5. Check and install for updates
    6. Provide HW/SW details (version numbers, MAC addresses, etc) from iFIT admin app
    7. Tech noted that brainboard version is "Unknown"
    8. Tried to recover brainboard - process would not progress past 0%
    9. Tech concluded that the issues we were experiencing was because of a faulty console.
    10. Ordered a new console under warranty
    Received the replacement console after 6 weeks and installed it as per the video above. Same issues remain:
    1. Startup does not progress past the blue stationary iFIT logo
    2. Brainboad version is still 'Unknown"
    3. Recover brainboard procedure would not progress past 0%
    4. Called tech support, went through the whole hard pinhole restart, clear cache, install updates process still no resolution
    5. Tech concluded that replacement console was also faulty so he ordered another replacement console.
    Was told that the console would take 1.5 weeks at the most, received it after 7 weeks. I installed (again) the second replacement console as per the video above. Still experienced the same issues. Called tech support again. This time the following were done during the call:
    1. Hard reset, privilege mode, clear cache, install updates, HW/SW details process.
    2. Brainboard version is still "Unknown" and recover process still will not progress past 0%
    3. Tech had me download "RouteThisHelp" app onto my phone and had me run a WiFi/route test.
    4. Looked at the results and concluded that I needed to talk to my ISP and do the following:
    - Whitelist the following: google.com, gateway.ifit.com, ifit-wolf.s3-cdn.ifit.com, cdn.ifit.com, app.launchdarkly.com
    - Set up a static IP address for my console
    - Open the following ports; TCP Port 80, TCP Port 443, TCP/IP Port 4348
    5. Did all of the above and still no resolution to the issues; still stuck at the blue iFit logo upon startup and unknown brainboard version number
    I did one more hard reset, privilege mode, clear cache, install updates, etc. for good measure. This time I was able to bring the iFit app up and access the workouts. HOWEVER, I could not get it to control the treadmill. It was exactly like I was running the iFit app on my phone or tablet. I tried doing an incline calibration but it would take 1 second and say "complete". I also tried accessing a treadmill workout but it kept prompting me to connect to my equipment via bluetooth. It seemed that the console did not know that the treadmill existed.
    At this point I am at a loss on what to do. the tech I am working with wants me to run another "RouteThisHelp' session and send her the results. I'm not optimistic that it would resolve anything but might as well do it to check the box.
    Any ideas?

      @FitnessEquipmentHelp  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So are you still on a blue screen or is the app now operating? the console should operate independent of the equipment. You can literally power the console separately from a power supply and the console will run the same as if it was attached to the treadmill. So if you are still on the blue screen then I can be fairly certain it is an issue within the console itself. If the workout is now running and the console is showing you your speed and incline settings and the displays change and the buttons beep when pressed, (like the console is working like normal) , then it sounds like there is an issue communicating with the rest of the treadmill. this can be an issue with the wire harness that connects the console to the lower electronics or with any of the lower circuits boards depending on what functions are not working. What is your model #? There there are a few different models with that name that use some slightly different lower electronics.

    • @jmillan924
      @jmillan924 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the updates, I was able to get the app running on the console where I was able to login, etc. the issue is that I cannot control the treadmill from the app. The app is looking to connect the console to a Bluetooth device whenever I try to launch a treadmill specific workout or run in manual mode. The speed and incline buttons don’t work either. The model number of my unit is NTL39221.

      It is not designed to accept the different sized console inserts. It may be possible but the purchase price of the components would be likely more than just buying the new treadmill.

      Did you ever look inside yours? I notice that everyone sells the console as one unit (part number 93A for $600). But there is no pictures of how the android tablet connects to the control/logic board. If the LCD is connecting via a simple USB connection I wonder if we coulnd't install a better tablet in the future.... I am not about to open mine up to just see if this is possible though. I have seen pictures that looks like there is a logic board between the controllers and sensors and the tablet....
