EVEN COHO LIKE PLUGS

We went out COHO fishing in Campbell River, Vancouver Island. I use nothing but plugs to fish the COHO salmon. I find that the plugs allow the salmon to give my a better fight. I used to use flashers but found the flasher put more drag on the fish not allowing the fish to fight at the end of the rod. My favorite plug for COHO are the 403 plugs. We managed to bring three legal COHO in on this trip. They were caught on a 5" 403 UV plug!

@@RichDueck we made it as far a whiterock but didn’t get to the island and likely not til next summer now 😢 things are just so expensive these days. Probably do an august trip so there is retention and tyee pool too.
