My wife wrecked my '18 Prius about a week ago (Everyone is safe and unhurt). I watched this while waiting for my insurance check to get a new vehicle, and while I'm going to miss my old car, this video made me feel A LOT less apprehensive about getting a new one. If I didn't already have my heart set on getting a new Prius, this video would've sold me on getting one. Thanks for the review/upload!
someone crashed into my 2018 prius but it was super minor and it's in the shop getting fixed rn, but while driving a rental AND my mom's old 2010 honda crv, i'm really missing my prius and i watch these videos to feel something. but after watching a bunch of newer prius videos, i really want to trade my 2018 one in like an iphone
Our Prime finally arrived after a 21 month wait. We ordered a 2022 model and wound-up with a 2024. So, was it worth the wait? Yes. Even though we had to pay two model year price increases and, were paid $2,000 less for our old Prius C than the dealer offered almost two years ago (still, we received almost half of what we paid for the old car 12 years ago). At least the dealer sold the car right at the MRSP with no markup. Our dealer now says if we ordered a new Prius today the wait could be up to three years................... After one month of every day use, there's still 3/4 of the original gas in the tank and we expect that to last for several more months.
That's a very good review. Toyota's new 5th generation Prius has undergone a major change in appearance, and I think it has become even cooler. It looks like a coupe-style sedan. Because the front pillars are large, the top of the instrument panel is deeper than the previous model, making it difficult to see the bonnet and the tip of the body. The seating position of the rear seats is low, so it feels a little cramped. The hybrid system is now in its fifth generation, and I believe it has improved driving force in the practical speed range, making driving easier, and improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance.
I really like what they did with the new Prius, but I am still deciding whether to purchase it, considering how well the 2025 Camry compares and even exceeds with space and power. What are your recommendations? Prius XLE or Camry XLE? I want the style, function, comfort, and fuel efficiency.
@@bitbat9 it is common knowledge that the Prius is nearly impossible to find. You will not walk onto a lot and find 1. It took me over 6 months to get one and only then it was just luck and perseverance.
@ that is an absurd observation. The shortage of the Prius in the last year is well known. Availability has nothing to do with wealth or a great credit score. I have both and neither made a Prius magically appear at a dealership. It took 8 months after checking a dozen dealerships daily to finally score one. Supply has definitely gotten better in recent months.
toyota always cheap and mean , always missing something important , why no rear ac vent ?why ?why ? nobody needs it? your child won't feel hot or cold ?

Toyota of Tampa Bay is hooking you up with some really GREAT cars to review, Will. Way to go!
They sure do! Thank you 👍🏼
Hopefully soon, I buy this new hybrid sedan.
Good luck getting one. We’re 7 months into the wait in CT.
Dang.. hopefully you won’t wait much longer 👍🏼
5k-8k markup for my local dealers 😅😢

Life unfortunately is about "who you know!" Got my hot red ( the best color without a doubt) 2023 Prius XLE AWD in a few months without a markup.
Amazing review Will.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼
2024 Toyota Prius Hybrid HEV XLE Liftback!
Bought a 24 Prius Limited in March. Love the new style and the new features!
That's a very good review.

As per your opinion should I get with this 2024 Prius or 2025 Honda Civic hybrid?

I tried both. Prius is way too small and same price as Camry. Makes no sense
prius
Dream on folks. You can’t buy one if you want one. Been looking for 4 months. This review is the closest you’ll come to owning this vaporware.
i bought mine in march of 2023 at MSRP so idk why you cant find one

I put a down payment on one in July and got the car last week, it's not that hard
I bought one no problem. You just must have either the money in the bank or have reasonable credit.

You got the torque specs wrong. I wish it was 250 ft-lbs. It's not!
I wish people would stop whining about not being able to get one and just get a Corolla hybrid built in Japan
I am a Prius driver and constantly referring to a Corolla was a huge turn off. Other than that great review. I have mine on order
Still hybrid or is full electric?
hybrid
crown dashboard and I’m sold for 36k
