    Thanks for this video, just what I was looking for. Finally picked up a 2024 Prius LE AWD yesterday after months of waiting due to the stop sale. My husband is 6' 5" and we were both worried he wouldn't fit in it, but it's totally fine. The car is bigger in person and the interior is nicer than what we expected, being a base model. The seats are a descent size, comfortable, and can be lowered or raised with one of the side handles (you kind of "pump" it down, or up) to adjust for height, for those worried they might be too tall for the new Prius. He lowered the seat as far down as it can go and he has about 1.5" - 2" of head room. Similar to the headroom in my old 2001 Honda Civic EX that we had. Got the black, and it's gorgeous! The paint has tiny green and blue sparkles, it's so pretty. If anyone is thinking of getting it, you won't be disappointed. We bought it without ever test driving one, or even seeing one in person (we live in a small town kind of in the middle of nowhere). Best decision we ever made.

    You can select the stations you prefer under Favorites. You simply tune to the station you want, select the little heart to the right, and then it shows up under the Favorites category screen.
    BTW, you can also set the electronic parking brake to automatically engage when you put the car in park. I forget how I did it, but it's in the manual. The dealer rep didn't know that so he kept mentioning to always push the electronic brake button after I pressed the Park button.
    Congrats. I got the Prime XSE Premium a couple of months ago, and I love it.

      Shifting into Engine Brake Mode does not make the brake lights activate.
      Most mornings we have to descend a 600' hill first thing. I find the best option to "spare" the pads/rotors is to engage the cruise.
      The brake lights do stay activated when you use the Brake Hold function though.

    A couple of notes: The paint is not white. We have a Pearl coloured Prime and it was several weeks after we bought it home before we realized the thing is Pearl. Look at the paint from up close in the sun to see what I mean. Also, under those wheel covers you'll find a nice set of wheels, not the cheap stamped steel rims typical of cars that have hubcaps. Our Prime is ten weeks+ with 1,400 m so far. Still on the first tank of fuel.

      @ThePriusDad  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, smaller size wheels and less weight do make a difference in fuel efficiency. Also, in testing done by Car And Driver in December 2019 (specifically the Tesla Aero wheel covers on the Model 3), aerodynamic wheel covers tested at 50mph, 70mph and 90mph showed 3-5% more efficiency with the covers on vs with covers off.

    This guy not real knowledgeable......the wheel covers on the LE are NOT a factor in it's higher MPG. The PRIME model does not have more engine horsepower. (AWD models have 2 more HP) There is not such thing as "the CVT hybrid system". CVT is the Continuously Variable Transmission, not part of the hybrid system.

    • @NonsenseNatureNeckbutts
      @NonsenseNatureNeckbutts 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Brother, do your research before saying stuff on the net. The Prius Prime has 220 hp compared to the regular Prius, which has 196 hp. They use an eCVT transmission, which is a CVT transmission without the belt and chain, made especially for hybrids, so he is not wrong. Also, wheel covers always help with your MPG no matter the car. Next time, please use Google before grabbing your keyboard.

      I don't think i've ever seen someone so confident while being wrong on every... single... point they were attempting to make. The covers do help in combination with the smaller wheel size, the Prime model does produce more power AND it doesn't have a transmission. What Toyota poorly calls their CVT is, in fact, part of their hybrid system.
