    I really like how utilitarian they made the interior. No extra fancy shenanigans. Just simple necessities.

      Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I love having a ton of buttons. The closer my interior looks to a fighter jet cockpit, the happier I am. I really like Teslas in a lot of ways, for example, but I cannot stand the emptiness of the Model 3 interior.

    Thanks for the review. Toyota's web site shows under 'Specs' that the LE, XLE and Limited all have '60/40 split fold-down rear seats with center armrest.' I guess they need to update their site.

    I bought the supersonic red Limited a week ago. About 300 miles of mixed city and Highway driving. Loving the car and features. My only complaint is the head ducking needed to get into the seat. I had to change style of getting in: butt first, duck head and swing in legs. It gets some attention on the street.

I am wondering how the AWD affects the space under the floor of the boot. Could you also test the headlights at night?

    Nice candid review. Very informative.
    However, I would like to see a review that includes comfort riding in the back. I sat in the back of a 2023 Prius yesterday and almost felt trapped in the back. Backseat headroom is an issue for anyone over 6' and while the legroom is fine in back, your feet are almost wedged in under the front seats.

    I really like your review, you have things in here that are not anywhere else. Just a little tidbits that come from carefully considering the features on the car. I am definitely considering getting the new Prius. I think I will go for the front wheel drive Limited it seems like the best way to get one is to buy one use with 4 to 6000 miles on it then you don’t have the long wait. I don’t know I would have to compare how much it would cost to buy it new compared to that way. I have not actually driven on one yet. I am wondering how easy it will be to get in for someone that is 6 foot tall and a large frame. My current drive is a Pontiac vibe which has been very reliable and a great car that has a Toyota engine. Thanks for the review

    Great review. Not a love fest, which is good. You need to do a piece about the rear wheel push and what they have for flat tire remedies. Why they have wheel covers/// I will never figure out. (Something to throw in the basement on top of the the other two sets I have.)

    • @user-3tf67bk46u
      @user-3tf67bk46u ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good review style. To the point. Would at least 5 to 7 min added to cover some more details that a few here have mentioned.
      The wheel covers are only to exploit fuel economy. Hard to believe how bad they look. Personally I'd prefer aluminum coloured rims. I would go so far as to say I really really HATE black or dark charcoal. They just look dirty all the time. Dark rims started around 6 years or so ago and I can't wait for that fad to run its course. They sort of suit a certain style big block V8 Dodge muscle car, but the very last place they should be is on a Prius or Corolla. It makes the car look like everybody is still running around with winter rims on year round. Ugly!

      Corolla Cross is kinda a different market. The Prius main comparisons are the basic Corolla and Camry. The Camry is also about the same price while the Corolla almost has the same fuel economy, is cheaper, but has way more road noise. The Corolla Cross is more a smaller RAV4.
      Knowing the RAV4, I assume it also has kinda poor road noise. Plus the Corolla Cross and RAV4 do just have worse fuel economy than anything else I named. Everything else can get close to or above 50mpg while the RAV4 and Corolla Cross get around 38-45mpg. If you really need the space or you're really tall you'll probably like the bigger cars. But they will cost more and are harder to find. The RAV4 is probably the most sawt after vehicle on the market.

    Nice Review. I may have to get the LE trim because a few other reviews say that is the only trim with a Compact Spare Tire available as an option. Is your LE Prius FWD or AWD and did it come with Tire Repair Mobility Kit? Was the Spare Tire option offered to you?

    • @Skylancer727
      @Skylancer727 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have the LE just like he has in the the video, no you don't get a spare tire, just a repair kit. As far as I know, none of them have a spare tire. Many consumers have complained about poor storage space and therefore more cars are moving to remove the spare tire.

      @@Skylancer727 Do you have the LE AWD or FWD?

    • @Skylancer727
      @Skylancer727 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@netmann1492 LE FWD. It doesn't matter, none have a spare. If a spare is a necessary thing for you, you'd have to get the Camry instead. Both the Corolla and Prius only have repair kits and an electronic pump. I mean, the Camry does have slightly more horse power and a very close fuel rating if it really matters to you.
      Downsides are the prius does ride slightly smoother from my experience, the Camry seats seem lower to the ground (not sure why), the Camry takes up more space (but some are sensitive to space so it may be a good thing), and the prius being lighter does mean it feels faster even with a lower hp rating.
      The positives of a Camry instead are a more traditional looking car, more cargo space, HUD, projector headlights the turn with the wheel and automatically dip up and down, and slightly more headroom..

    • @netmann1492
      @netmann1492 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Skylancer727 Thanks for the detailed reply... I am aware all Prius come with the sealant and compressor tire repair kit. I am interested to know if trims (at least the FWD ones) come with a tire well and a raised threaded mount to secure it below the white foam inserts in the cargo area. Would you please check that in your car and let me know...? Also, while in there, can you check if you can see two other Screw Mounts to secure the foam inserts around the compact spare tire (page 376 of driver manual) in the cargo bottom base metal? The foam screw mounts should be at the tail end of cargo on the opposite side of tail light...Thank You.
