Hagler and Hearns, without doing all these unnecessary training had more powerfull bodies and muscles. By far they had more speed, agile movements and effectivity. Sincerely I prefer those methods of trainning of the 80 boxers.
Fatigue for sparring is to make boxer raise their level no matter how fatigued they may digging deep if they are not tired they will ace their sparring ever time as they are in camp and the sparring partners are already a lower level of skill but also then fitness . So a boxer will not want to give into a sparring partner thus having to break through the wall of fatigue and increasing that secret stamina that everybody keeps in a bottle locked away in case they really needed

100% agree! Sanchez has been said overtrain his athletes at a certain point but you can see the results. Anyway Golovkin is one of a kind and whatever the training methods (scientific or not) he was just built for ko...my 2 cents
When boxers are fatigued that's when their technique becomes sloppy. I believe he wants them fatigued in sparring because of this, so that when the real fight happens, they've already gone through that and adjusted.
Love this stuff I use to get pissed of when I would train so hard and still loss matches and I was in great shape but that conditioning wouldn’t transfer into the ring when boxing 🥊 thanks for the break down about to hit the bench press later then spar lol just kitting 😂
I agree with the sports scientist. Doing the sparring at the end when you’re tired is counter productive. The fighter will hold back on the S@C to make sure he’s not gonna be too tired in sparring where you’re gonna get hurt. Always spar first

I'm still struggling after my surgery last on my shoulder and found my golfers and tennis got elbow after whilst trying to build shoulder strength. I hope one day to perhaps be a fly on the wall in a normal working day for yourself.
He does old school boxing workouts, a lot of junk volume and questionable stuff. Not the most optimal but his skill matters the most and what wins the fights.
most boxing gyms in california if you are constantly jumping into sparring completely fresh you are considered a B****. the chances of two fighters KOing each other is so much higher when two fighters are fresh. it's usually run, rope, shadow, bag, mitt then spar.
Please i need i an answer im a pro boxer and i have a huge love for hand grippers i love squizing hand gripers for four reps 200 250 pouns but when i do it i feel that my hands speed becomes slower can i still do it or how can i use them corectly pleaseee answer thaks
There may be a more scientific explanation that Danny could give you, but speaking from personal experience, I find that doing them in a supine position takes your legs out of the equation and isolates the core more. When I do them standing, I can feel myself compensating by using my legs to help drive the movement. I still do them standing as it's more specific to an actual punch, but when I really want to isolate the core, I do them supine.
Makes me wonder how far you could take him with these methods. Certainly seems to be able to create a more balanced physique and one that can sustain greater longevity in the paid ranks.
Golovkin is being trained like a monk. It's all about muscle fiber recruitment, mental focus, and strike accuracy... wash rinse repeat.

I had my shoulder reconstructed a year ago and the physical therapy is nearly identical with lighter loads to what you do.

Those neck exercises helped him not be phased by everybody’s best punches.

Tbf ggg doesn't do high intensity ab exercises because he does so much i read something he does 3500 ab reps a day
