The number grids are called ‘Schulte Tables’, for those who are wondering.

Swimming pool boxing is a resistance, strength, and balance exercise/training which does not wear and tear on your muscle and tendons as much as regular boxing technique. The water gives you resistance and slows your ability to move your arms, legs, trunk, etc... as you go through the motion of boxing. So you have to exert more power to get the punch or movement made. The water waves coming back from hitting the sides of the pool crash into you knocking your balance off. So you have to work harder to keep your balance. So by controlling and using correct boxing techniques in the pool you can strengthen your punches, improve your speed, increase your balance, and improve your breathing. If done correctly this training method will smoke you doing 3 minutes on, 1 minute off for 12 sessions. Gradually improving to 5 minutes on and 30 seconds off for 15 sessions. Other exercises can be mixed in as well like sprints, side stepping, high knees, side straddle hopes, butterflies, scissors, etc... and of course swimming to build your overall conditioning. The other factor is that if your pool is cold then the cold water is also repairing your muscles and joints. Finish your exercises/training and just sit or lay in the pool for 10-15 minutes but no more than 15 minutes and let the cold water do its magic. Ensure you drink water as this training will dehydrate you. Being in water does not prevent dehydration.

Could you substitute the trap bar deadlift with single dumbbell snatches in case of limited space available?

    • @kingofthering3343

Sumo deadlift would be the most appropraite alternative to the trap bar. You'd struggle to overload the movement with dumbbells.
