7:19 I heard from a friend in the military they used to teach them to chew there food 27 times before swallowing. If u ever try this it really blenders the food to most liquid form with salvia and any other liquid in the food.
Hey Dan, LOVE this vlog!! Brilliant insights. One question regarding drink water after meals, how long do you recommend I wait before drinking water after eating?
The point about electrolytes is a good one. I don’t feel like I absorb as much hydration with plain water, although the majority of water I drink is sans electrolytes since I don’t want to overdo the sodium. Also, selling juice concentrate vs juice makes so much sense. Saves space and money on shipping and reduces carbon emissions from hauling more weight for less product. Weight that is water, which can be added at the tap. This goes for laundry detergent as well, and many other products.
One thing I found to work for me is replacing my favorite cup with a shaker shake cup. When I had to work harder drinking from a straw I'd take sips but now that I got an open mouth drink cup I drink more water through the day. I went from like a half cup to 48oz. A day easily because I can drink till I'm content. Probably sounds silly but it worked n it was a great way to switch out pop n incorporate more water in my life.
Hi Dan 🤗 This was a great video! I've been binge watching your channel and subscribed 🥰 have been trying to drink more water during my work day and it's hard. When I'm on the bike my Garmin gives me reminders to drink and eat!LOL I think I just need to set reminders and I should be good! I will also try the before and after meals water as well.
Good message. But music is OTT and it also only needed to go for about 3mins max. Look forward to more of your content...as long as it not always wrapped up in 11 min videos!
Thanks for this. I have a conundrum, I love to snack at night before bed, likely can be replaced by just drinking water but if I do I end up waking up multiple times at night to pee. Any suggestions?
The answer you may not be expecting is that underrating during the morning/afternoon leads to snacking at night 95% of the time. Try having a hearty breakfast to avoid nighttime eating.
