Alex as nice as that mower is, i would think it would bring $1200-$1500! You fixed and adjusted everything, fully serviced, new battery. That machine should be an easy sell. The little details in my opinion are what make the difference between a nice reconditioned mower and a used mower for sale! Nice job as always. 👍🎥🇺🇸
Thank you very much Roger. I feel like this should be a really solid machine for someone with a good size yard that doesn’t want to break the bank with a new zero turn. I’m hoping for those numbers.
Love the videos man! I just started watching this last two weeks when I found my interest in fixing up yard equipment! I got a free cub cadet 1554 with only 2.9 hours on it! Got it running with a carb clean and oil change, I also got a free 2012 Dixon 46 in cut yard tractor for free also, the cylinder was full of gas but drained it out refilled the oil cleaned the carb and did a valve adjusted and she’s a great cutter now!! I hope to start flipping yard equipment like you do soon!
I was subscribed to you but for some reason i have been having issues with youtube and the service people is crap now so hopefully one day i can subscribe again. I have learned quite a bit from this channel while working on my mower so i greatly appreciate everything
I turned out nice getting it done wow looks nice u do good work u can get 2000 or something u are very good at restoration work can't wait for the new projects
I have the 42 in white with a few small issues, but you covered a couple of them. Mostly electrical ,to related.Research and viewing channels like yours elevate some of the stressers.Thank you.
Those zero turns can really fly. That machine will last for years with a good owner. I love your attention to detail i think it makes all the difference when your selling something. I have never tried clear coat paint I'm going to now. thanks for the video Alex. another beautiful job bud
Yes I’m planning on using a commercial mower on my yard this year. The ground speed will be a little faster than this one but this was is quick. I really appreciate you always bringing positivity to my channel. I would really like to try the 2k clear coat. From what I have seen it looks 10x better than this one.
Man you make these mowers look great again😊 no pun intended. Its amazing how can bring back these machines to looking new again. I wish i lived in your area, I'd absolutely buy a mower from you. The amount of work you put into them shows your an awesome mechanic and you dont sale junk. Cant wait for the tear down vid and hopefully a rebuild on that engine
Thank you so much. I take pride in refurbishing these mowers and I really like to see them look and run the best I can before sending them out the door. I’ll be working on the engine tear down this week. Hope things are good your way. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Would be interested in how you get everything so clean…maybe show how to pressure wash w/o spraying the engine. How you clean up those plastic boxes (what you use to make them them look brand new) etc.
Thank you John. Yes I worked hard to make this one really nice. I unfortunately saw it listed on the market the other day. Two weeks after selling it the buyer had this thing trashed.
All decks should be that easy to mount! Pretty neat how you were able to lift up the front end of the machine and roll it up and over the deck too! What a bummer about that clearcoat not being the right finish, but I doubt a potential buyer would even notice. Great work overall! 👍
Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate that. Yes I wish they were all that easy. Some have so many mounting points it makes it an hour job to just remove.
Got a brand new troy-bilt bronco with blown up kohler courage 18. Did a motor swap with an identical kohler courage. After the motor swap, went through 2 used starters. Finally got it all together, running mowing, just to have the valve cover start to leak 😅
@freedommowers640 most definitely and thank u for the content good sir. It's all buttoned up now and runs and mows great. Can't keep my 10yo off it. Thinking the yard needs mowed after school everyday 🤣
The rubber mats were on the mower, but I added the grip tape strip in front of it to help from heel scratches. I got a roll of the grip tape on Amazon.
Wow. I have the exact same year and model. My big problem is burning up belts every year. I change out the transmission lines and rerouted them out of the middle of the belts.
That’s a good idea with the transmission lines. Do you engage the blades at full throttle? If all the pulleys are aligned and smooth I wonder what could cause that.
I will be selling this one. I have a couple here that I’m going to have to decide as my personal machine. It’s either going to be a exmark lazer z, or Dixie chopper. I hope things are going well your way!!
i bought a mower with a 23 hp briggs and a 50 inch deck that was also a white outdoor for 100 bucks as well. they must’ve not made alot of these mowers in my experience there wasn’t a lot of info on them.
Wow looks and runs great. I liked the grip tape idea. I wonder if you bought the satin finish clear instead of the gloss? Any way it still turned out great.
I had to check the clear afterwards because I thought the same thing it’s the crystal clear though. Just didn’t turn out as nice as I had hoped. Thank you very much for the support 💪💪😎
Nice job Alex. Looks great! Have you ever used that rust converter stuff? I have not but have a few things that need it. Wonder how well it works? Do you have any experience with it?
I had some spray paint converter, but I would like to try some other products. Like the POR. I think that would be the best bet for stopping the rust instead of masking the issue.
Yep, I am in same boat here in NE TX; I have a Yard Machine 42in and trying to find a $200 replacement engine is like looking for a white buffalo, everyone wants $375+ and that’s just for an single cylinder I/C style. I hate to scrap the chassis when I can find another complete rider for $300.
But I need your help on something. I have a crafthman LT 1000 it turns, but I'm not getting any spark. What could be the problem New key switch new starter new syllanoid new battery turns but no spark

The end result looks amazing. Nice work. Your work ethic really shows.
Same as my 2005 Cub Cadet ZTR 50 with 22hp Briggs I'm at 568hrs running strong one of the best cutting mowers I own💯💪🏾
Oh heck yea!!! That’s the kind of info I like to hear. Those yards are going to be growing real soon. I’m sure you will be crushing it this season 💪💪

Glad you had another statror that is in better shape so you can get this mower fixed up and running again Alex 👍👍
Thank you very much Robert. I think this will make someone a great mower.

Thank you very much. I really try hard to make sure that the machines I sell are in good order.

Looks great allready going to be a great buy for some one ☝️
It should last a long time if they service it properly
Thanks for sharing video
Yes I’m really hoping it can go to a good home. It does bother me sometimes when I sell a nice machine that I know will just be neglected.
I am amazed at how clean you get these mowers. You need to make a video on how you clean them up so nicely!!!
Thank you. That is a video I plan on making. 🙏
Would be interested in how you get everything so clean…maybe show how to pressure wash w/o spraying the engine. How you clean up those plastic boxes (what you use to make them them look brand new) etc.
Turned out real nice, good job there!
I'm impressed with the mower
Nice work on this white outdoor 54" zero turn, you put alot of work onto this one brother 💯 🔧
Thank you John. Yes I worked hard to make this one really nice. I unfortunately saw it listed on the market the other day. Two weeks after selling it the buyer had this thing trashed.
When you ran this and had to use the jump pack it sounded like it had been cammed with a heavy lop! 😂

Wow that turned out really perfect thank you for the video
I watch u all the time love the way u do stuff
Would have liked to know if the blades got cleaned sharpened and balanced after all we have new bearings
FYI, you should have added a fuel shut off before the fuel filter. There cheap and make for easy fuel filter changes in the future.

I have spray painted before but never thought of spraying clear over it too. Where did you get the rubber mats for the floor? Thanks.
The rubber mats were on the mower, but I added the grip tape strip in front of it to help from heel scratches. I got a roll of the grip tape on Amazon.
New suscriber here. Great content! You give me confidence that I can fix my own stuff. The mower looks great!
Thank you so much for the support. Just take your time and have some fun.
Good job
turned out snazzy my man ....
Nice job alex, you’d get a good $1500-$2000 here in the spring
I’m hoping for $1200-1500. Spring sales seem to already be going here. Sold two riders this last weekend.
Wow. I have the exact same year and model. My big problem is burning up belts every year. I change out the transmission lines and rerouted them out of the middle of the belts.
I routinely check valve lash and tire pressures. I also made a cover for the intake manifold to keep sun and weather from warping it.
That’s a good idea with the transmission lines. Do you engage the blades at full throttle? If all the pulleys are aligned and smooth I wonder what could cause that.
Good Job Alex!
Thank you!!!
@@freedommowers420 Alkex, you can reglue those magnets back in the flywheels, clean the rust out good.
I got one question have you worked on any dynamarks
wow.. that mower really does look great, maybe you said but are you gonna keep that as your personal mower or sell it?

I know in my NE TX area, I could prob get $1k - $1200 at most which after doing the same amount of work would still be a decent profit:-)
where I live ,you would pay 3-4 hundred just for the engine

I think it should sell qwick at a 1000
Still forsale?

1500-1800

For what they are asking for the cheapest POS. I would start closer to $2000.00.
