I think a context video is necessary to know how you got to where your family is now! If you own your home that's automatically saving thousands of dollars in rent/mortgage which would make this lifestyle much more sustainable and approachable. Plus it's always lovely to hear about the blessings and answers to prayer that others have experienced :)
I think it depends on when a person purchased their home and their mortgage. Personally, I was in the market to buy, but it’s currently cheaper for me to rent in my area. A mortgage in my area along with all the other costs associated with owning a home would take up most of my paycheck.
One thing I would love to add to your absolutely wonderful video; If I check out a book from the library (cook book or anything else) and I fall in love with it and choose to have it in my home. I find it on Amazon, then I look under “buy it used” and many times I can get the same exact book for a few dollars. There are some with free shipping. But, even if you pay the 3.99 for shipping you still save a lot of money. :)
Absolutely! I always buy my kids clothing at the end of the season and a size up! It saves so much money. I purchase well-made name brand clothing for my kids for the price (and often cheaper) of Walmart brand clothing this way! The bonus is, because they are often much better in quality they last long enough for hand-me-downs as long as the kids don't destroy them (some ages are worse than others)!
@@cbeel3873 yes to this! Sometimes it's hard to spend money on "unnecessary" clothes, but really, it's an investment. And I have found end of season clearance items for as little as 50 cents at Walmart this year! For the kids, that is. I rarely buy clothing for myself anymore, unless it's necessary. I eventually realized constantly buying whatever cute clothes I found was just vanity, as I already had way too many clothes.
It’s important for all of us to remember living below the poverty line does not always equate to earning below the poverty line. It is definitely a goal of our family to “live below the poverty line” while investing heavily into our savings and the stock market. Thanks for sharing your life with us ☺️
You mentioning Walmart plus is so funny to me! I work for Walmart e-commerce, and it’s been a long road to get to a point of being so competitive with Amazon. To hear to say that we’re doing a better job makes me feel like all my hard work over the last few years is paying off!! Ps I hope you get paid off the ad-sense, bc I’ve been letting the ads play for that sole purpose 😊🤍 congrats on this sponsorship too! We love mint mobile!
Thank you Anna for sharing your tips. The cleaner is very interesting! I bought a bottle of Branch Basics cleaner that you dilute with water about three years ago. The tea tree oil in it is amazing. And still, I have about one fourth bottle left. You only use 2 tblspns. to 16 ounces of water and it is an amazing all natural cleaner for everything. One way my husband and I save money is that we sat down one day and wrote out our seven favorite dishes. Then, I rotate them every other week. That way, I know exactly how much the groceries are going to be every time I do the shopping which is every two weeks. Of course for holidays and special occasions, I throw something different and special into the mix.
I love the smell of tea tree oil! The branch basics sounds like a great deal too using so little! Speaking of holidays.. something I recently discovered that I love doing is putting a few drops of peppermint essential oil in my floor steamer. Especially around Christmas - Makes the whole house smell amazing and helps with sinuses too!
Your home is so beautiful and calming. Wish I could get you to design my home! I am starting to think the issues in my home are that we have too much. Too much unnecessary junk! I sometimes want to toss it all and start over.
Thank you! There are still areas that need attention that are out of my control (I need hubbys help) so definitely don’t think everything is perfect! But I do often have a come to Jesus about what is essential and what is not and it really helps a lot ♥️ my mother in law finds 1 thing to get rid of every single day. Even if it’s super tiny or random (ie: a spatula she never uses or an old mascara). I’ve found that to be super inspiring too!
Thank you so much for the Force of Nature diy recipe! I too have that unit and really like it, but your recipe can save $$! Really appreciate it! God bless.
It’s the upgrade of the phones we have to buy Grand parents didn’t have them I have cut my washing powder to one tab per load of washing soda mix with sunlight bar soap and just add I/2 tea store brought I made 5 batches of bars from Wendy Gower site and they freeze very well Same with black bean brownie found that on you tube I try not to buy full price hard sometimes
Thank you for your videos . I find them helping grow in my faith and I watch them daily while doing tasks . I pray Numbers 6: 24-27 upon you and your family
We’ve noticed the same thing with Amazon! We got Walmart+ during the Black Friday deal last year and it’s gotten to the point where we hardly even use Amazon now. We’ve decided to renew with Walmart and not with Amazon when the time comes.
I’m currently using Force of Nature, but I’m going to make it myself after my capsules are gone. What sold me on it was when my mom said they use hypochlorous acid in the hospital to clean wounds. She said it’s good stuff. Say less! I’m all in ☺️
That’s great! I feel like once you use it.. it’s nearly impossible to go back to anything else. I saw something else too that it was even used in skincare? I haven’t done enough research just yet, but now I’m curious.. 🧐
Is it possible to add an essential oil to the cleaner, after it’s made, or would that ruin it? I love this content, it inspires me to make cuts in our home, where I could put a bit more work it and save us money to do the things we want to with ours kids or towards a savings goal! I would love to see how you implement the things you do in your home, like kids clothing, homeschool storage, pantry. Is that something you’re planning to dive into more?
I think you touch on certain things during different videos as you go along with your main topics but can see how a video or two on just certain life hacks, tips etc. might benefit. I am usually focused for instance with your cooking hacks while yet still making it healthy, obviously tasty and visually appealing while somebody like me would throw marshmallows on a graham cracker and toss it into the microwave for a minute or two. Or your organizational and design tips . Those things are actually kind of important if you ask me regardless of family size. There's almost nothing more frustrating at times than spending an hour looking for something you need but that may just be my thinking. Anyway, whatever you decide I'm sure many will watch and highly appreciate.
Anna thanks for the good tips on savings iam on a fix income and know what you telling everyone...a dollar saved is a dollar earnerd..God bless have a great week ❤
I would honestly love to hear anything about you and your family Anna you are so inspiring to me. I always use tons of hot water to clean off my dishes for the dishwasher that’s going to stop as of right now. I do love books and I buy about three a month however I do buy them used through Thriftbooks. I definitely want to try to stop wasting so much money. My electric bill is 500$ a month which is ridiculous. I have my daughter and her fiancé and their kids living here with us for probably about another month and they’re be moving into their new home so I’m hoping I can pay way less. My husband insists on having direct tv plus all the streaming channels so we pay over 400$ a month for that ridiculous stuff. If it was up to me I wouldn’t even have a tv. I love TH-cam and watching you and looking at Pinterest. ❤ your channel and your hair looks great. I think you cut it a little right?
Thanks for the tips, Anna! Would love if you do a Q&A. We are here for you not just the meat and potatoes. Sending love ❤️ Not sure why TH-cam isn’t posting my comments in your comment section but hopefully this does.
Sometimes TH-cam glitches in this super weird way! I’ve noticed my comments disappear when I post on other peoples videos too. I don’t know what it is.. maybe TH-cam’s way of checking to make sure you’re an actual person. But I always see your comments (I recognize your username!) and I rarely delete comments - even if they are a bit hateful. I wouldn’t worry too much 😘
@@AnnaDysett Thanks, Anna! I just wanted to lovingly let you know that if you feel like deleting them, you have every right to. I have seen a couple of those hateful comments in your comment section and I love you for responding to them with grace and softness. Be encourage always, sister. ❤️

So true owning the home paid in full or low interest is the blessing that can help you survive this economy

Pick up is free at Walmart if you spend $35, even without Walmart plus.
I still get everything in 1 or 2 days from Amazon
It’s the upgrade of the phones we have to buy

I made 5 batches of bars from Wendy Gower site and they freeze very well
Same with black bean brownie found that on you tube

Salt and vinegar makes a great weed killer too. Used to use it on the driveway for things growing up in the cracks.

Where did you find the data on your state's poverty line?
Just type in 2024 Federal Poverty Levels (FPLs) for *your state
But they're all the same (except for AK/HI) at $31,200 for a family of 4. Hence "federal".
Did she say she washes her dishes in cold water in her dishwasher??🤔😊
Prewash with cold before putting them inside the dishwasher 🤭 I probably said something goofy though and confused you!
