    When we have children these options become much more limited. Not impossible but we become aware how being there for our children and our partners is so important. When I shifted my focus to bringing in extra money and trying to develop my skills, things deteriorated with family life. So I had to halt those things. These are great tips, it’s just that life becomes much more complicated when we have children.

      @@agathambah3100for some of us, that's true. But also consider that some people can't afford to be parents and have kids anyway, and then that messes the kids up, and then you grow up like me spending all of your late teens, 20s, and even the beginning of your 30s in varying states of homelessness, despite holding down jobs, going to college, and busting your ass to try and make ends meet. None of us asked to be born, and some of us have incredibly irresponsible parents that screwed our lives up. This is probably not OP, since it sounds like they prioritize taking care of their kids, but some people shouldn't be parents, and if choosing to not have kids is the responsible thing to do maybe they could consider it. Just my two pence tho 🤷‍♀️

    There's actually a lot of psychology and neuroscience behind gratitude practice, so it's not all woo-woo! Practicing gratitude primes your brain to focus on the positive, and it actually shapes your behavior because you're looking for opportunities rather than simply complaining about obstacles. It's a shift in mindset that leads to positive behavioral changes, and it opens your mind up to new possibilities that wouldn't have existed to you before 🙌 just try it for yourself and see if it works for you. Even if all you have to be grateful for is being alive, and having access to the internet and content like this, that's actually something 🌱

      I can't get my head around that.
      I can't see how can I convince a bank or electricity supplier to accept only 10% of my bill, because I'm saving up, and don't wish to pay the full bill this month, or any month at all.
      They just going to say, it's OK?
      Because this what paying myself first means. It's a must, food for the kids is not.

      @@Shaara1I have found that when I take out $ from my paycheck first I still spend what’s left but I do end up saving. If I were to get everything I would just spend it all. Of course a lot depends on ur initial pay.

    • @theduke7616
      @theduke7616 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@brianchesler8238 I agree. It's human nature. People's spending levels is highly based around how much you have. Very few people spend 100% of their income on non-discretionary necessities. If you take the "save when you can" approach, you almost inevitably will have less saved than if you take it off the top and then work your budget with the remaining funds. A person mentions a utility bill. However, if you had 10% less from the start, you probably buy a house that is 10% smaller and has 10% lower utilities and now can pay your bill. People adjust their spending to their available funds. The best way to save is to do it upfront.

      Stop and think for a second if they do this no one will want to work at a sweat shop 🙄 or make other people rich by working a JOB! NOT A CARRIER 🤔 by having a JOB people lose themselves and forget about their dreams, all of these things or orchestrated this way only the people that are tired of living a empty life and being broke and living from paycheck to paycheck and that are tired of being in there comfort zone, trust me there is nothing in there take it from me 😂😂😂😂 long story short you have to want it bad enough for yourself then teach your children and your family and your friends and different people you meet, only the ones that need your help and you will know who they are, as the saying goes don't cast your pearls before swine or else they will turn and tear you to pieces 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 bless up much love.

    The only thing about eating the same thing over and over is that can impact your gut microbiome. Maybe having even 3 different smoothie combos and having a rotating schedule like smoothie A on monday and thursday, smoothie B on tuesday and saturday, and smoothie on C on wednesday and sunday, and something different on fridays that isnt a smoothie or do some fasting instead. Would be a bit better than the same smoothie every single day for months on end. Diversity for your gut is good.

      You're right. I believe that diversifying investments is the best course of action since it can reduce the impact of a market crisis by spreading money over a variety of asset types, including foreign stocks, bonds, and real estate.

      I don't have the time to carefully evaluate my investments and research particular stocks because of my hectic work schedule. I have therefore hired a financiiaI advisr to actively manage my portfolio for the last seven years in order to adjust to the state of the market. I've been able to successfully traverse the financial environment by using this method to make well-informed judgements about when to buy and sell. Maybe you ought to think about taking a similar strategy.

    you mention personal growth in another video and eliminating toxicity in relationships. this is something i struggle with, including the toxicity within. i have lots of ideas and have been able to manifest some of them over the years (sometimes successful but definitely losses along the way) but my downfall has been that i'm easily influenced and discouraged. i feel like i've lost a bit of that drive over the years but your videos have re-ignited my ambition. i have so much work to do and it's been so long since i felt like i can conquer it but i feel like i'm ready. thank you so much fro these videos. you are a positive force the world needs..

      I don’t know your situation, but this is also a great time to learn more about how people are reversing their chronic illnesses in more natural ways. TH-cam sensors a great deal but I have to admit there’s a lot of good material out there anyway. A lot of chronic illnesses aren’t responding beautifully to the carnivore diet or the ketovore diet. Dr. Anthony Chaffee, MD, Dr. Ken Berry, MD, Dr. Shawn Baker, MD, Dr. Thomas Seyfried, MD, dr. Jack Kruse, MD, Stephanie keto person (experienced coach with a vast amount of knowledge for the keto approach), Darko Velcek has the most practical and inexpensive way to rehydrate that I have ever seen and it works like a charm, and a helpful eating plan that addresses so many issues in the body. JJ Virgin on inflammation/elimination diets to discover it that are not as strict as what some of the above mentioned doctors recommend. You would be astounded at the list of conditions that are vastly improving though. I hope some of these resources are beneficial to you, and if not, blessings, and I wish you the best on your health journey.

    Great video! I'm stuck on #19... I have decades of leadership experience but unfortunately, what comes with leadership is you typically have someone (or in my case multiple admin people) do all the little things for you. I find it daunting to have to learn these skills to simply launch a TH-cam channel or IG page to generate income (or similar skills). I've gotten so used to "big picture/high level" thinking that I seemed to have forgotten the basics. It feels overwhelming.

    Would you recommend saving and investing at least a little while I pay off my debt? It will take me 36 months. I am already retired. I hope to pay off my debt sooner with a side hustle but my question is do I save/invest while I retire the debt?

    • @coachcarenfern
      @coachcarenfern 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That will help in how you feel overall, but way out the debt interest versus the investment although investments do need time 😊
      Yes not a straight out answer but giving you room to decide

      Pay a bit extra every month towards your debt. You will be done in a year. It helps so much to pay more than the actual minimum, cuts so much time.

      If you have a low interest mortgage, it's fine to do some investing. For high interest debt such as credit cards, pay that off ASAP.
