There's actually a lot of psychology and neuroscience behind gratitude practice, so it's not all woo-woo! Practicing gratitude primes your brain to focus on the positive, and it actually shapes your behavior because you're looking for opportunities rather than simply complaining about obstacles. It's a shift in mindset that leads to positive behavioral changes, and it opens your mind up to new possibilities that wouldn't have existed to you before 🙌 just try it for yourself and see if it works for you. Even if all you have to be grateful for is being alive, and having access to the internet and content like this, that's actually something 🌱
So you pay yourself first, pay your duties from the left over? I can't get my head around that. I can't see how can I convince a bank or electricity supplier to accept only 10% of my bill, because I'm saving up, and don't wish to pay the full bill this month, or any month at all. They just going to say, it's OK? Because this what paying myself first means. It's a must, food for the kids is not.

There are base things that I buy at Costco -my single source olive oil, My basmati rice and massive jar of chopped garlic etc. and then there are lots of interesting cool and tasty things at Costco, which I only buy when they are the loss leader. I remind myself when I see something that I really enjoy that sometime during the year it’s definitely going to be on a loss leader and I can stock up on it then. That keeps me from buying that item at full price and keeps my budget nice and low

Would you recommend saving and investing at least a little while I pay off my debt? It will take me 36 months. I am already retired. I hope to pay off my debt sooner with a side hustle but my question is do I save/invest while I retire the debt?
That will help in how you feel overall, but way out the debt interest versus the investment although investments do need time 😊 Yes not a straight out answer but giving you room to decide

This was an awesome video! I've listed these items in a new tab on my expenses spreadsheet.
‘Eat that Frog’ by Brian Tracy for anyone who would like to read the whole book, its a great one.
Very accurate and uplifting. Some of these I do or try to do but I didn't feel successful until now, you gave me really good examples on how to be more successful in doing these. Thank you very much, God bless!
These are awesome things that people can do if they dicide to kick away excuses.
Great video! I'm stuck on #19... I have decades of leadership experience but unfortunately, what comes with leadership is you typically have someone (or in my case multiple admin people) do all the little things for you. I find it daunting to have to learn these skills to simply launch a TH-cam channel or IG page to generate income (or similar skills). I've gotten so used to "big picture/high level" thinking that I seemed to have forgotten the basics. It feels overwhelming.
You're so sweet , ..love all your information .
a lot of information to take in but I have took notes and at 62 ... my kids are on their own , I have grandbabies now and looking at my retirement . you're going to be very helpful for me , ... thank you young lady , wish you all the best .

Would you recommend saving and investing at least a little while I pay off my debt? It will take me 36 months. I am already retired. I hope to pay off my debt sooner with a side hustle but my question is do I save/invest while I retire the debt?
That will help in how you feel overall, but way out the debt interest versus the investment although investments do need time 😊
Yes not a straight out answer but giving you room to decide
Pay a bit extra every month towards your debt. You will be done in a year. It helps so much to pay more than the actual minimum, cuts so much time.
@@justbekind2024 that won’t work for me. I’m heavily in debt.
If you have a low interest mortgage, it's fine to do some investing. For high interest debt such as credit cards, pay that off ASAP.
I found this video very very useful, the information regarding procrastination and non negotiable investing. Thank you -loving your hair colour.
