    Wish I had found this yesterday before I installed my aftermarket sensor. I am not taking it out to satisfy my curiosity, especially with heat index hovering at 109. 🤣
    Unfortunately I may have to, because I still have a no start. 🤨😒🧐 Appreciate the video, as I couldn't figure out why the store didn't have a cam sensor, nor could they. 🤔 Google and forums were just as useless. Thank you!

    Fought my crank cam intermittent problem. This great video. My original sensor showed higher magnetic field on a gauss gage app I downloaded. Both aftermarket sensors had weak readings so I put old sensor back in and it runs perfect now. Thanks for this video.

    Had the same magnetization issue with a Walker branded one I picked up from RockAuto. Swapped it and got one that would magnetize. Definitely take your original to the store when you purchase or atleast check magnetization before installing the new one.

      I got one at Advance Auto and it wasn't magnetized. So I had to get the OEM and that thing was $129! But my truck started so I guess it was worth it.

    I had the same issue with a Jeep Liberty a while back. I kept getting cam and crank sensor codes after I replaced them from the parts stores. Everyone told me it was a timing chain. A forum suggested OEM sensors so I tried it and the issues went away.

    When I installed my crankshaft from O’Reilly’s and sounded like my fly wheel was out of sync thank you I’m hoping the Mopar one will help me

    Dude. I just changed mine about an hour ago and I was legit checking to see if there was magnetism. I bought it from O’Reilly’s and there wasn’t any magnetism. So I tried the one I just took off. No magnetism. I thought, okay, maybe they’re not supposed to be magnetic. Well sure as Jesus wore sandals, even though it runs better, it’ll still randomly backfire and lose power. I’ve replaced any and all sensors, it absolutely HAS to be this sensor. Because temporarily after changing it I’ll have power again, then it goes back to its old ways.

    im pulling the 01391 code i change the whole dist. with can sensor also change the crank sensor when it came out it had a ball bearing attached to it.where did it come from? it still wont run above an idle any thing higher it misses bad.

    • @Rodneyzoom
      @Rodneyzoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      that's probably one of the magnets off of the torque converter/flywheel. The flywheel is welded to torque converter and on the motor side of flywheel there magnets welded Ive seen some glued on some aftermarkets. so 2 choices either replace torque converter or if you have the tools and skills you find the broken weld area on flywheel and spot weld or jb weld magnet(ball bearing) back in place

      No I didn't it end up being a loose rocker which cause the intake valve not to open . So I will say check your push rods

    • @2001BornAgain

      @@Rodneyzoom I just changed mine out and I hear something in my #1 cylinder. I wonder if it's a loose rocker arm. Sounds like a knock, but not a deep knock like a rod. Was it an easy fix? I've been on this truck for a long time.

    • @Rodneyzoom
      @Rodneyzoom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's how mines sounded put your hand on the valve covers while running you should feel any knocking if it's top end

    • @Rodneyzoom

      Remove valve cover to get clearance outside of that you could go from underneath if you can see through the exhaust
