    this is absolutely amazing - best media wall Ive seen on youtube! would you mind telling me - what do you use for filling in the gaps between MDF....and where can you buy the pull out drawer kits? (cant get over what a great job you did!)

      Thank you so much for your positive feedback
      When joining two pieces of MDF, you should have a timber behind and use plenty of screws to stop any movement between the two pieces of MDF if you use an epoxy wood filler and then sand after the joint will be seamless
      For the drawers, I used a heavy duty ball bearing drawer runner you can get them on Amazon and I built the drawers from more MDF
      Hope this helps any more questions. You can send them my way.
      Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it.

      Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate it.So in front of the media wall, there is a large 5m window and the gap was left for a curtain to slide down the side of the wall. I tried my best to explain to the client that a media wall should be a full wall, but in the end that's what they wanted

      Generally, my clients will show me a photograph normally from Pinterest and I’ll match the design

    If that slotted area underneath the tv is for a soundbar, you're going to absolutely strangle it. You might as well roll it up in some towels.

    • @DDconstruction1
      @DDconstruction1  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Haha there is a long story to go with that . Basically before starting, I told the client I need size of the TV size of the Fire and the size of the slot for the soundbar. I learned a valuable lesson never trust somebody with a measuring tape who doesn’t work in the trade. He gave me the wrong size for the TV and sound bar but somehow it worked out that the sound bar fit under the TV and the slot is used for the remote controls
      Hopefully that answers your concerns haha 👍

      Hi I got a painter to finish it and he did use wood filler . It is a lot of work to do it in MDF. I did because they want to drawers. But if you were doing it without the drawers you can build in 2 x 3 and use drywall and plaster finish

    • @kmets
