Great video, thank you 👍 Quick question though before i use your guide to build my own media wall.... if you ever needed to completely replace the fireplace, would you be able to? It looks like the fire place is locked in place with the top and bottom frames. Thanks
@@reno_with_us I thought so. I’ve just completed my media wall and I can confirm it is tricky to plaster the parts where the plasterboard meets the fire/trim etc. Your video was very useful, keep up the good work!
Proper job, mate. Well done!
Thank you!
really nice job done
Thank you!
Really nice build mate 👌
Thanks 😁
Looks gorgeous the media wall too
Thank you😊
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Nice job there m8!.. what bracket did you use for the tv?.. was it a pull out to gain access to mount it?
Thanks mate, it was just a universal mount from wilkos. It pulls out, tilts ect.
I’m going to make good use of this! Thanks ❤
Glad to hear! Good luck 😊
Great bit of work, gave me some good ideas. Thanks👍🏻
Thank you, great to hear!
Looks very nice, how would you change the fireplace if it ever stops working? ( hopefully it never stops working )
Thank you 😊 all parts to the fireplace are accessible in situ
Loosk great but how do you access the plug for the fire
The socket is in the shelf section 👍
Great channel mukka, can you tell me how you did the ledge around the fire, did u just paint it or board it and plaster it?
Thanks mate!
I used a wood filler up to the edge trim. I thought it would be awkward to try to plaster & it turned out great😊
@@reno_with_us thanks for the reply bud, i will probs do the same , just halfway through my build now, your vids have been a great help....cheers👊🏻👊🏻
No problem, hope it goes well mate 👍
How much will be charged for the built
Soooo nice I’m inspired I can do this ❤
Thank you, let us know how you get on!😊

Hi, the fireplace is pretty much locked in, however they are designed to be repaired from the front. Thanks
Thank you so much this video was very insightful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job fella, could u tell me what size the fire surround was please,we have something similar planned with our 50in tv
Do you mean the dimensions of the fireplace itself? (It’s all one unit)
@@reno_with_us yes fella, dimensions and the manufacturer, cheers
Which fire is this please? And size? Looks great 👍🏼
The fire is linked in the comments
Why didn’t you allow for plasterboard on the bottom part where the fire met the wood? Looks great never the less
I thought it might be abit awkward plastering that bit, so just chose to use the flier instead. Thankfully it turned out ok👍

hey mate, can you tell me the measurements of the CLS used please? Thanks
38 X 63 👍
thanks
What are the spacers used for?
To level the frame before fixing 👍
Hi can you please post the link to your fireplace?

Thanks for asking about the link, just ordered the same fire👍🏻
Any problems with TV getting hot from being recessed?
No mate, there’s space at the back, plus the newer TV’s don’t tend to get hot
@@reno_with_us good to know. How deep is your recess? Thx.
😮😮
😊
what was the silver thing at the edge
Not sure what you mean other than the stop bead/ corner bead?
can you come build that for me? plz? LOL.
Would you help others building the same- as a paid job i mean. Thank you
I have actually recently started my own home improvement business 😁
@@reno_with_us Where are you based
@@melanie4581 west midlands mate (Without saying the exact area online)
R u a plasterer by trade or can anyone plaster??
I’m self taught, at this point I’d plastered most of my house so I was confident. I would recommend a professional otherwise 👍😊
