THANKYOU FOR WATCHING
Should Call yourself "The Media Wall Guy" Smashing Finish
fantastic job well done ,it looks amazing 😀
Nice job. In this instance, for the MDF back panel might be easier to chalk the metal back box faces then bang your cut sheet to transfer the positions & then cut out. Saves having to transfer all the measurements manually.
Love these media walls, really well done. 👍
Great looking unit. The skeleton seems to be bit of an over-build.
These will be like the brick work people had in their lounge in the 70's one day am sure. It does look good though
You lads done a lovely job, media wall looks pukka 💪🏼
Excellent work as per usual mate. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos. P.S I would of charged a similar labour price too 👍🏻
Thanks mate lots more videos coming throughout this week
Great video, I enjoy watching and learning what and how you do stuff. The editing is getting on point now as well, those zoom ins with the music - silky smooth
Once again, awesome.
as the wood dries and warps ,won't the plasterboard crack at the joints?
Really nice media wall sets the room out great. On the panelling i know you are going to show this in another video but can i ask how you fix this to a brick wall not a timber framed plasterboard wall.Thanks.
great job and video mate
Thankyou I appreciate it
Super
That's a really good price.
Is £2400 including plasterers and electrical labour or is it only your carpentry? Would you charge same amount if media wall is wrapped with mdf? Or you would charge extra for that? Did you install plasterboards too or someone else did? I done similar media wall but unfortunately I earned about 1/3 coz I'm working for company and it has been wallpapered all around. I have no idea how much our company charged but is good to know if I will do my private jobs so I know how much to charge for this stuff. Thanks for being transparent it is helpful to know how much others charge sor certain jobs.
£2400 covers all the trades , carpentry electrics , plastering yeah will be round about the same with mdf
Looks great. So you’re take home was £2400 minus what you p aid the sparks and plasterers.
That's good for a media wall of that size nice work mate
Straight up guy . Rated live the work looks 👌
Exactly the same as I built at my house even the fires the same I might give my mrs an invoice for £2400
😂😂 do it
Same here took me almost a week though :) So that labour should be costing her more
lol yes do it 😂
She might reverse charge you! 😂
Always look forward to your uploads , great video ................
Great labor price
Fairly new to your chanel. Great content.
You come accross really genuine.
Is that the evolution vacuum you're using?
If so.
Plug in or 18v?
how do you find it
Super 👌
Looks like a great plan, I will review it in the event I have the opportunity to do a similar installation sometime. I am primarily a network builder but if I offer services for high-end homes similar requests may come my way also.
Beautiful work, big bro. Keep it up.
What would you do if there was a heating board on the side
Great work guys! What was the paint color used on the walls?
That looked like ALOT OF WORK for $2400....
Divided by 3 people?!
Any concerns with the television overheating since it is completely inset and there is no ventilation behind the media wall? Curious because I'd like to do something similar but uncertain about enclosing the television
The wall plug only went into the wood?
Nice work, mate,very impressive.
Lovely looking job. Did you hire the electrician and plaster?
Yeah
How did you quote it, did you just tell him you ate on day rate at £400 per day, or did you just quote £2400 and it takes as long as it takes?
I’m looking to do a similar design in my living room. What’s the dimensions of the build. The depth of each section?
Are the shelf surfaces themselves made of plasterboard and skimmed?
Keep the great videos coming 👍🏿
Great job bossman
Great work, looks superb 👌
How much did you charge for panelling?
Will be revealed in Tuesdays video
Great looking job
How do you work your labour cost out mate ? Day rate ? If so how much is it ? Thanks great vid keep them coming maybe more in depth about the building love man
Nice work lads👍🏽
Quality work 👌
Ratings man,
Did you secure the wall to the floor?
Nope , glued , they have underfloor heating
Great finish! I love it. Where are you based?
What size timber was used for the stud wall
Looks like 3'x2'
I'd love to edit your videos!!
amazing work!!
Hello, my name is Farrah I'm starting my level two carpentry course this September it's there anything you would recommend to get before starting the course just want to be as prepared as possible. Love the content x
Hey Farrah thanks for the comment I’m assuming it’s a college course not an apprenticeship if so to be honest for level to carpentry course the college will provide all the tools you need , always handy to have your own drill and tape measure. I also have got a dedicated video to all tools a starter carpenter will need , good luck on ur carpentry journey you chose the best trade 💪
Is it plastered?
Didn't he say it was plastered,
Just done two in my house around the existing chimney breasts in MDF .. Hard work 😭😭
luvly jubbly 👌🏼
Hope he’s bought a good surround sound system or that tv is gonna sound like someone taped inside a big cardboard box begging in a really muffled voice to be set free 😂😂
Eh? Where's the speakers? Tow sonos one's at the front? All that for awful audio?
6 days? Bro, I'll do that in 2 days by myself
Who gave you the right to judge anyone
That’s not how you carry one of those tvs. Lucky the screen didn’t crack.
way too cheap! You undersell your skills dude.
Probably be cause he's in the Midalnds.
£400 a day👀
£400 a day 👀
1,200 😂😂😂 u wish
£400 per day...can’t moan at that
He has a plasterer, electrician and the other joiner to pay plus apprentice so no where near that.
Doesn't say what the labour costs of the others were and if they were included: if the spark and plasterer were a separate cost to the client. A couple of days for sparky is gonna knock £600 quid before you even think about it, so once all the people are accounted for (apprentice, other carpenter, spark, plasterer) that £2400 is really not going far at all.
@@gymerwillkick think it’s total cost of whole job, so will have that all to take off. I might be wrong though
Bro ur robbing yourself up ur price !!!
£2,400 pure robbery. Only building if nothing supposed, Should take some of that money and take spelling classes, “complete” is how you spell it :) I got mine done for £1,200 LMAO. Timber supplied
He also uses the word "we", suggesting that the labour charge covers multiple people/trades who worked on the job.
I don't know where you are in the UK but rates will will differ all over.
I think you ment supplied not supposed lmao 😂
@@OllyParryJones correct £2400 covers plaster , electrician, me other carpenter and apprentice
@@nyallberry nope. It was intentionally done :)
Hater alert!🤡
