God Wants to Use You! Here's How...

  • I've said it and heard it said a million times, "I want to be used by God!" Most Christians do want to be used by God, but don't know exactly how. In this video we discuss "how to be used by God" according to what scripture says. Is there something we as Christians can do to position ourselves to be more useful to God? Yes, there is! Jesus loves when our heart desires to do what pleases Him and advance the Kingdom of God. I hope this helps someone today and challenges us all to position ourselves to be used by the King!

Amen!! I went from a very evil lifestyle from sex, to hard drug addiction, violence to everything in between. The good Lord Jesus Christ had better plans for me! I took care of my mother the last 8 years of her life 24/7 and now I volunteer feeding the hungry and trying to serve him in everything I do! I’m far from perfect and never will be, but sanctification is a PROCESS in which we live every day trying to be more like Christ. I love helping others more than helping myself. Pray to him and ask him to tell you what he wants of you and he will let you know! Don’t be surprised when it’s something you didn’t expect to come as was the case with me, but listen to him and he will use you to further his kingdom!!

I said the “sinners prayer” as a kid and I now believe that’s a very dangerous thing to teach and it’s not biblical. Not until I did what’s in Romans 10:9-10 and gave myself wholly to the Lord did I feel him and have a changed life. I didn’t really know what that meant as a child, but he was always there or I’d have been dead or in prison long before now that’s the truth. The Bible is true, raise up a child in Christ and if he ever departs from it, he will return. I’m proof of that.

@@chrisby777 yeah; I agree. I think, personally, that “the sinners prayer” has lead more people to hell than anything in the modern “church”. Strictly because they TYPICALLY JUST say to say this prayer and you’re now a “Christian”. Well, for one “the sinners prayer” isn’t biblical. They TYPICALLY leave out Romans 10:9-10 entirely. One MUST BELIEVE. I also take issue with young children being taught that and baptized as they typically have no idea what any of that truly means, but that’s somewhat of another story entirely.
Yes, I do agree though with you that it has to be followed up with Romans 10:9-10 and the belief stressed to whoever is being told to “say the sinners prayer and be saved” by the “church”.

There is a burden on me now to work because I am thankful for his grace to me. We must learn how to do the work…in what ways and how? We are to be led by Him yeah to be effective conduits for God to work through us. I hope you see this comment and respond Brother. Now in the 4 warning parables of Matthew 24 and 25, it seems to show we can be disqualified from salvation due to a lack of holiness, lukewarmness, inactivity and sins of omission, 3 out of 4 use clear language of perdition as the consequence. Please respond.

    • @TrueSight_333
      @TrueSight_333 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Those parables say the same thing that everything else in scripture says: That not everyone who names the name of Christ, really belongs to Him. I personally don't see anywhere (unless you can specifically point it out to me) that even suggests that someone is truly saved and then somehow loses their salvation due to a lack of holiness, lukewarmness, inactivity, and sins of omission - a person who is truly saved isn't going to demonstrate those traits anyway. You have servants that truly belong to Jesus and therefore obey him, and hypocrites who pretend to be servants, that don't belong to Jesus, as demonstrated by their lack of obedience and faithfulness. That's it. It's not too complicated. Anything else is reading whatever you want into the text, in my opinion.

@@TrueSight_333 ok, not arguing, just trying to figure this out. In John 15:2 JESUS says, "every branch IN ME that does not bear fruit HE
(the FATHER)takes away. HE goes on to say that we are the branches. Can false believers be 'IN' CHRIST?
In the parable of the talents, JESUS says, a master called HIS OWN servants to himself. JESUS used words very precisely. The masters own servant who buried his talent is condemned to hell.
In the parable of the ten virgins, the 5 foolish are running out of oil, in order to run out of something you had to have had a certain amount of whatever it was to begin with. The wise had what the foolish once had and were running out of.. It's interesting that unlike in the Matt 7:21-23 passage where JESUS tells those that practiced lawlessness that HE 'NEVER' knew them, HE tells the foolish virgins, "I don't know you" as if at one time HE did. Look forward to your response.

Your knowledge of the Word is admirable, rightly dividing as we are instructed, a lot of preachers show their lack of biblical knowledge when they attach works to salvation.

It means having the true revelation of who God truly is, and having true revelation of what Christ came to do on earth, instead of just following religion

Great video! But i have something that is bothering me and its the unpardonable sin which i think i commited it in class. I fight my own thoughts and then i said in my mind something that demonized the power of the Holy Spirit in my head then i must froze and felt a heat rush through my entire body. did i commit? is my conscious seered with the hot iron.
I dont how im feelings. Nor do i know whays going on in my heart.
Im currently typing this for confirmation i messed up now im asking myself why did i said that and in class i said to my self no no no Jesus used the power of the Holy Spirit not Satan

No, you didn’t commit this sin, be at peace ☺️. It was an intrusive thought that you didn’t want and it’s obvious that you love Jesus. The devil loves to trick believers into thinking they committed this sin but if you research what the sin is, you will see that it is impossible for a born-again believer who loves the Lord and has the Holy Spirit to actually commit such a sin. The Pharisees and religious leaders in Jesus’ day wilfully accused Jesus of doing miracles using the power of demons even though they knew the signs he was performing could only have come from God. The word “wilfully” is important here - they made a deliberate choice NOT to believe that what Jesus was doing was from God.
A brief “intrusive thought” that tells a lie about Jesus is not the same as what they did 🙂

@Hayley_N I'll be honest with something in John 14:15 it says if you love me you will keep my commands and to be honest I haven't been keeping his commands lately and I'm full honest.
Thank you for your comment though!❤

The unpardonable sin is from my understanding is the continuance rejection of Jesus and speaking against the the Holy Spirit.
If you felt sorrow after saying something and regret it, that shows that Jesus is speaking to you to correct it. It shows that your heart has not become hardened. Those with hardened hearts will not care or feel regret.
Ive had numerous moments where Ive said or done something and felt terrible afterwards, followed by instead of what I said or did I should have said or done this.
I would pray asking for forgiveness and ask for help in becoming more like Jesus. I thought I was a helpless cause, but the Lord did mighty changes in me. I dont mean to sound like bragging, but to glorify God and how mighty He is.
The more you focus on God and His will, the better you can understand when He is communicating with you and how He is communicating with you.
Get to know Him, and you will recognize His soft voice. God bless

@yourlocaldailybibleverses ❤ Do not fear nor worry. The whole point of God’s Son dying to forgive sin was to include ALL sin to those who commit to Him as Saviour AND Lord. It is perfect, whole and complete. It is finished. He became God’s sacrificial lamb replacing the needed annual sacrifice formerly done in the Temple. We know the human heart and feelings deceive and cannot be counted on reliably. However, God remains just and loving. Some believers grieve the Holy Spirit. We experience grief when someone dies - someone cared about in that time of ultimate separation. We do not feel grief towards strangers in the same way. So those in the church family whose ignore “Faith without works is dead” choose a separated church existence. They wear jerseys with TEAM JESUS colours but without Holy Spirit led-living, they are not functioning properly. Things are NOT working and their reward will be in this life, failing to begin their new Kingdom life as the prayer says: on earth as it is in Heaven.
