Amen! Do you have a specific video for new believers of our Lord Jesus Christ that I can share? I know so many younger (spiritually) in the Lord who need to hear the truth of HOW to walk with the Lord and not just say,"yep, I believe in Jesus so I'm good" and then fall away ? There are still so many who seem to be lost 😢. It truly is all about first, His love for us, 1 John 4:19 19 We love because he first loved us. And second, our love for Him. You're dead on. The American church will make you believe that Christ is Santa Claus. Accept him and you'll be happy, rich, healthy and all your dreams will come true. I used to believe that lie until our oldest daughter died unexpectedly, 11 months ago, from asthma. She was only 21. Now I know the truth. And brother, many Christians believe that suffering is punishment from God and it makes them judgemental. It is very painful. Thank you so much for this message. I cannot thank you enough.

Once I stopped trying control things and laid my burdens into Our Dads hands I truly begin to live. I found out my Dad had Parkinson's last year. I lost my fiancé. I lost my job. I lost both Grandpas, my Grandma. He had always walked with me and I prayed but I wasn't committed. It was in struggle that I truly began to walk with him also. I surrendered. Not a day goes by I don't speak with him. I was just presented with an opportunity at the largest software company in the world. I will never put anything between me and Our Father again. The depth of his love I feel every day.

Hell is a false doctrine

The problem is a person says a prayer then they do absolutely zero disciplineship and live their lives doing the same thing they were doing before they got "saved". God is the Judge. There is no change in their behavior. They profess Christ, bare not fruit, and keep going through the motions. That is lukewarm.

What you shared was an encouragement to me. It's like you were taking the words out of my mind "what did I do? where did I go wrong? Did I take a left turn when the Spirit said to go right? Did I misunderstand? My mind had been like a torture chamber and like you said it just has gotten worse for years. Me and my spouse have lost and lost and lost till we have pretty much nothing left and it just seems like it gets worse no matter what. This encourages me to remain faithful and also set aside this western idea that if I'm not prospering as a believer I must not be trying hard enough or I must be in a state of judgement. Even ultra conservative church's don't realize they are preaching a prosperity gospel, that "hey, you'll have hard times but not really that hard or if it goes on to long it's not a trial its punishment." Don't get me wrong, I still pray that the Lord will answer one of these days and bring me and my spouse to a place of rest on this temporary globe we call earth but I realize finally that God didnt save me in order to financially set me up and smooth out life ahead of me. I just pray he keeps us faithful and we pass the test.

Do we have to say we win? How about we are saved. We all sin and many are lost. Its not about winners or losers. We pray for those confused or lost. Idk it just seems to not right. Maybe I'm not understanding

This explains why I have been through hell so many times the devil knows me by name and keeps his distance along with his minions. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for you are with me. I've always been connected in an abnormal way to the spiritual realm and have even had visions of my years before it happens. I've had a recurring dream of fighting through hell and the devils army to return to my body almost nightly from the time I was 2 until about five months before I turned 30, which was last December. God doesn't test us with trips through hell if he thinks you can't handle it yet. He gives us what we can handle at that time and so I guess he thinks I'm one of his warriors cuz I've been through the wringer. I've been beaten, slashed open, shot at and jumped repeatedly since I was an older grade school kid and had to fight to protect myself and my brother and I couldn't in good conscience let other kids be assailed and acousted either so I stuck up for kids a lot and while I didn't want to fight I was willing to be a punching bag for others cuz seeing other kids throw rocks at the slow kids and pick on people weaker than them made me upset cuz it was wrong and it huet me to see people do that to one another. I now realize that I've been tested since I was a toddler. The nightmare was the devil trying to break me cuz he couldn't do it physically and he knew if I grew into my Spiritual strength he would be screwed. The last time I had this nightmare I prayed to God as naked as I could be, (not literally nude but bearing everything to him and meaning it like your supposed to when you pray) and he came to me in this dream gave me a shield and sword as well as a full set of gods armor and the sword was lit on fire from my hand to the very tip of the blade and the fire was soothing, healing even, and during my encounter everything stopped and I was face to face with the silhouette of a massive being of pure light. I felt peace and calm as well as love so profound, in that moment, I just bowed my head and cried with joy. Nothing was said he just placed his hand on my shoulder as I bowed my head and when I went to look up he was gone and the dram was starting to slowly beginning from where it left off before God or one of his angels came to me. And I was clad in full golden armor with the sword and shield in my hands. I fought with the demons again but it wasn't like all the other times. I wasn't angry or scared I was just filled with pity towards them. I fought my way out of hell once more and then I woke up in my room again and that dream hasn't happened since. I still remember it quite vividly and while I'm not one who can easily interpret dreams this felt like something of significance that I felt compelled to share with everyone.

Obviously God had other plans and his will for us was brought about by the gospel which is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1 John 3: 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; lukewarm , it’s simple really , being hot is a believer who is on fire so to speak for Christ , being cold is a believer that is not outspoken about Christ .A lukewarm person doesn’t believe on the finished work of Christ .Jesus said Revelation 3:15-16 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Lukewarm isn’t someone sitting on the fence its people who outright don’t believe on the FINISHED work of Jesus or professing Christians who add works i.e. keeping the law to be saved. Repent means to change your mind so in the case of the Jews they had to stop sacrificing animals for their sin and believe God had paid for all sin so repent from repenting of sin .

Church just needs to stick strictly to God's Word and follow it, but CROSS REFERENCE and APPLY THAT. No Church is applying cross referencing. It's a almost perfect blend of old and new testiments following. An example is "Sabbath" Cross reference this of new and old testiments. No one is talking about this. I'm glad my pastor woke me up to this.
