If I'm seen as "coping" I don't stand a chance of even getting an assessment which seems harsh but it's a public (under)funded system who are struggling to cope with the amount of adults realising they're neurodivergent and seeking an official diagnosis. What's it like getting assessed in Canada?
@@neurodesigned It is also difficult where I am as well, unless you have alot of money and can pay for it. We got lucky with my son and were in the right place at the right time when he was 4. He is 12 now and I have been struggling to get my diagnosed son help and the apropriate schooling for years, but he "looks fine" and doesnt explode at school so they say he doesn't qualify. He cannot handle school, so he is home with me.
