At least to prove his innocence, Director A.R. Murugadoss should talk about the plagiarism issue on media very soon. I am an educated Vijay fan and the interview of Gopi regarding the Kathi plagiarism was very convincing and it really got me thinking that Dir. Murugadoss might stole it from him. Because A.R. Murugadoss never came in front of media and talked about the MNC issues and all as Gopi did in his previous speeches. Mr. Gopi has some insight in him and he is not a person to be ignored. His problem should be discussed either in court or a public media and justice should be given.

Now recently an entire film has been stolen from a director and has been replaced by another director who is a relative to the producer.Was very painful when i heard it from that first time director who completed the entire film and being replaced by another guy. He lost a lot of happiness past one year to complete that film.And now they are asking him to transfer the rights of the film to them and they willing to pay him in a crore. In fact 7 Am Arivu's core script is lifted off Assassin's Creed where they use the Animus to access DNA memories. Ironically, it was based of a Russian novel. They should do something about script lifting in our Industry. Imagine, how many dreams have been crushed because of directors like him.

Neatly Planned and executed by MR. ARM and his group to steel the story frm him. Asking to explain the story short by short and recording it shows the brutality of his team. Look at the details that this guy has made in the story. I think this 100% gopi story. Only few changes are made by MR.ARM in film. Steeling someones life will not take you to any extend. On humanitarian grounds my heart goes to this creator holding what he says is true , but legally I doubt abt this case , cos intellectual infringement law is not as strong as in US or Europe . Also comparing script to a movie sure it wont match every word . so law couldn't do much . But glad now it's gonna b viral on social media . The reason for such issues may b the industry is not organised and squeeze the juice out of new creators knowing nothing more could b done other than few claims . A strong autonomous body should b formed by govt to resolve issues of intellectual property rights .
I Can see a lot of person asking a question why Gopi didn't do the copy right. Copy right is for some script which is completed. Gopi is narrating that he did changes in script on daily basis. Also if someone do a copy right, its def waste of money. Anyone can do a mild change in the script base and register a new script.
ARM is definitely a talented person. Its public mistake that blocked ARM creativity. The stories created using different things we see in real life. We didn't give space to the public figure to live their life. If ARM try to come to streets to get the story, then 50 people to surround him to get autograph. This is the main reason why most story writers hide their identity as ghost writers. So ARM no more can create a story as his freedom to move in streets has gone. Still he need to sustain his field. How can he do it.? Simple, He get the life stories from different ADs and story tellers. So we public is also guilty for this.
The clap raising scenes of the movie like the graphics in MAP, Fight scene in the dark are copied from different movies. He just tried to add the scenes he liked from different movies to show to our people. However ARM could have given royalty of the story to Gopi and directed the movie. This is was the big mistake ARM did!

God will help you. dont loose hope and do a great movie. And i will watch in theater. Reminds me of Mayakam enna by Selvaragavan. Like dhanush's role, you will win.

Very Sad to see Gopi like this.. I really liked that Communism dialogue as well as the Water blocking scene. After knowing the real face of Murugadoss and Co,I hate him to the core. Murugadoss you have earned lot of fame and money and you haven't stolen the script but you have spoiled his career,Shame on you!! After seeing this I really doubt how many talents were stolen and hurted in Tamil movie industry.. Gopi should get justice in court (court confirming that its Gopi's story and Murugadoss real face should be known to all).Thanks for Red pix for sharing this...
Don't know whether gopi got justice.based on this interview he is honest and talented .wish thala gives him chance for his debut in Tamil cinema .all the best gopi ji
The way he talks sounds genuine. He seems a straight forward person.
I could understand the mental agony & pain he would have undergone over plagiarism of & stealing his intellectual property.
His stuff & capability has become quite obvious & come out into open now after the release of his film ARAM & it's stupendous success & accolades it has received.
Justice will prevail ultimately as Lord Buddha said.

Don't know whether this guy is saying the truth or not...But few doubts..
1) Y doesn't he atleast have a xerox of his binded script?
2) According to Gopi, dz story was tld 3- 4 years back, even b4 thuppaki n 7am arivu, how come ARM didn't direct this instead of Thuppaki?
3) Atleast he should have the contact numbers and y can't he show the recordings, or call register
