@@MikasaMods yo for some reason i cant open up the app itself, it gives me like an error message. i tried doing the QR too and it said somthing about a connection failure even though i was connected to the internet. what should i do
i love this so much! I always wanted to get event Pokemon that were exclusive like Genesect, Cap Pikachu and Diancie. I'm a completionist and when it comes to getting Pokemon that are available through the game by catching and recently I've been counting events without transferring. Same with shinies so i'm glad I'll be able to get Pokemon like shiny Zygrade, Rayquza, and Necrozma.
I did so much stuff with my 3DS yesterday haha, modded it for the first time ever and now I have PKSM too :) It was a little confusing at first (I use it on the 3DS not PC) but you get the hang of it. I may or may not have made them Sylveon you mentioned 👀 but yeah this is an awesome and well done tutorial :) right now I'm just scanning QR codes with FBI haha

If you have a Pokémon you’re trying to gen in X/Y that is obtainable in Gold, Silver, or Crystal, Heartgold or Soulsilver, and can be female, that’s how you know an apriball can be legal (as long as it can breed).
Many people will always have doubts. But it’s best to know that if it was such a dangerous thing to do- then the thousands of people with CFW consoles wouldn’t have CFW their consoles tbh lol.

Appreciate this tutorial. This has definitely made having cfw that much more worth it. Hadn’t even heard of this and I’m glad I checked this out. Trying not to cheat as much as I can but there’s just those certain ones there’s not much choice for. Especially for starters when it’s like. Yea, I could start a bunch of games and trade them but what’s really the difference at that point? Plus this is just super cool how customizable it is. Ive seen some slightly more complicated variations of things like this before involving PCs and transferring and injecting etc. but never tried them. This was awesome. Pretty simple and so nice having everything right there on the system. just edit it and your done. Go play your game like it was always there. No wasting Pokéballs or scary glitches trying to catch like you get with old game genie or game shark codes.
@@MikasaMods so I just found another really helpful feature of this app. It’s great for breeding because it knows what’s in the egg before it hatches. So you can check the stats of the egg immediately and if they’re no good just release it instead of wasting time incubating it.

Well Dam I’m sorry you got robbed. I would put a link to games but I don’t wanna support piracy on YT and such ya know? Im glad you can now make your very own special favorite Pokémon. And yeah I’ll def think of some stuff to make a tutorial of. I might make a tutorial on how to make pkmn using PkHex which is another Genning application however it’s for PC/Laptop. The Pokémon will be in your 3ds but you make them using a pc. It’s a bit more work to get it setup but imo PkHex is easier to use and probably has more to offer.

This tutorial was excellent!!! Super clear and thorough! Was able to actually sneak a few pokemon in my neice's inbox with better stats and moves so she wouldn't get wrecked so much while playing lol 😂 also sent her one via mystery gift! I wish I had known about this sooner when I was playing 12 year old me weeps lmao I do still want her to have fun raising and trading pokemon so I'm trying to figure out how to help her get some of the more wily mons without just straight up dropping them in her inbox. Is there a way to create a new event somehow? And thanks again for the awesome pokemon content!
Create new events no there isn’t events to create but there are some to inject. So like diancie- Hoopa etc. you can go to the events tab of the PKSM and go to the English tab and press A on an event and inject it. At the very bottom are injection slots to which you can change the slots in which the event will go in so it doesn’t overwrite other pkmn the mystery gift lady is going to send you. You could also create some Pokémon and then put them in your Storage box. So let’s say you make a pkmn that’s legal. You’d save then go to storage and drag the pkmn up into the storage box. So when you say yo your niece I have a surprise for you- you can open the storage box and show her the pkmn was waiting for her in the storage. Another way is to grab pkmn off the online storage- on the storage section there is a wifi symbol on the bottom left- click it and there will be basically an iCloud of pkmn to grab for your niece and hide them in her storage box. Even I can send you guys pkmn through your own storage 😄 and then you can grab them from the nice YT lady
If there is a specific pkmn your niece likes I can surprise her with something over the GTS and I can guide you through that process of the GTS GTS is basically on the game where your niece can place a random pkmn on up like zigzagoon or flabebe etc and can ask for any pkmn she wants. Then the nice YT lady can send her the pkmn she had requested on the GTS- she can check the GTS at anytime and the shiny will appear on her screen as if it was a wondertrade
You can also do this for your niece Make a 6IV Japanese ditto (I could send one to you via storage) and get her any English pkmn she has and place them in the daycare so she can try to breed her very own pkmn. You can give her max all items so she can use the medicines like iron- calcium etc to EV train her own pkmn. You could leave the EVs blank when Genning so she can work on those herself.
In my personal opinion start off by teaching her how to breed pkmn. I’m gonna leave a 6IV Japanese ditto in the PKSM WiFi storage for you. It will have the OT Shannice on it for you. When you click my ditto to download- drag it into your storage box and save and press B- then drag the pkmn from the storage box into her pc box with the rest of her pkmn Save and leave to go to “Scripts” Click it and scroll down to the tab (items) Click it and press A to inject all Berriesx99 All itemsx99 And all medicinex99 Save PKSM fully after that and head to the daycare center to place the Japanese ditto and whatever pkmn (non legendary) in the daycare so she can breed for her own pkmn that has a 1 in 4000 chance to be shiny. It’s a workout but it’ll give her some insight on EV IV and shiny breeding. The medicines will be there for her to learn how to give proper EVs to her pkmn Then there’s the hyper training you can teach her as well so she can get those stat boosts

Here is if you need 3DS games for free: hshop.erista.me/3hs Scroll down and scan the QR code using the 3DS app called FBI. You use FBI-SD-Remote install and scan QR code Hshop will be install onto your console and going into the app allows you to download any 3DS game you’d like :)
When bringing your rom over. Keep the save of the rom on your desktop/pc Let twilight create a new save for you in the 3DS console when starting the rom on there. Once you are able to save in game- exit and turn the console off. Head onto your computer- open the SD Go to your roms folder- go to your saves folder and find the Pokémon save it made. Go to properties and copy the entire name of the save. Delete the save in the folder immediately after. Now the original save you left on your desktop, click properties and paste the name and then drag that file into the saves folder. Now you can go back into your 3DS and twilight menu and play with your original save. Trying to just drag and drop the save asap will not work, you have to do it as instructed
Awesome vid! I haven't done this sort of thing since XY first came out, so it was nice seeing there's still a scene for it here. Quick question though: does anyone know if it's possible to use Pokébank after generating these mons to transfer them up to gen 7-8 and beyond?
Yes as long as the Pokémon are legal or have at least moves that are not impossible or forms that are not not available such as mega formed pkmn and such then it will go through to any game without problem. 😄
Pkmn home has an auto tracker so any pkmn that are deemed hacked such as a Mega From Rayquaza with a move Dark Void will not be able to go through and will tell you how many pkmn are not able to pass through and automatically remove the hacked pkmn.

Hello 💃🏻, uh yes groudon can only be legal shiny in HGSS. So you’d have to create one via HGSS save and then place it in the storage of PKSM. Go in PKSM on the 3DS game such as XY ORAS etc and head back to storage to grab the groudon

I loved your tutorial^^and out of what I learned I was able to make a shiny female eevee out of this!I was really nervous though,but I assume nothing can go wrong when using the tool,I can check for info back on serebii so my mons can come out legal and normal. Talking about legal,about the legality checker,and you legalizing your cloyster,i read in the pksm mod wiki that using the legality checker could potentially break your ds,is this of high chance,or very low? Why use the legalizer to legalize the legit mon when abilities/moves/and Shiny are possible legit? Just a question really,since when I read that well it shocked me,that,and before I used pksm,it completely slipped from me to backup my pokemon saves and I now had 999× rare candies and Love balls 😳
I’ve been doing this for 7 years- nobody has ever messed their stuff up doing this. They put a false warning claiming they are not responsible for anything that could (potentially happen) but that’s like restaurants when you eat their food saying they aren’t responsible for anything that happens to you either like if you get an allergic reaction etc. it’s not gonna happen but it’s just something out of morality they write down. Even though they aren’t a company- they have to be like one- all companies and applications always have a warning saying oh we aren’t responsible for anything that happens to your phone or device etc.
And you don’t have to auto legalize legit mons- I only showcase it cause people will make the claim to me sometimes “prove your pkmn are legal for your giveaways or I won’t take your pkmn” so I showcase what I do for basically people who are afraid of legal pkmn and such. Cause people tend to mistaken genned pkmn from hacked pkmn

Since WiFi capabilities are being shut down for the 3Ds soon, I wanted to be sure I could clone my Pokemon and send them to home before bank inevitably gets the boot too.. Yw, it also won’t be shut down for good, as with the DS servers and games, there is a DNS server that allows things to be played online still. Very sure the 3DS will be no exception same with the Wii

There is also an app on your console called universal updater: in there look for ndsforwarder (it looks like a narwhal which is a whale with a horn) that app allows you to install DS games onto the home menu of your screen.
Been loving the tutorials so far, great work! I just have a question, would you know how to transfer Pokemon from Twilight menu++ games to home? I know you have to go through teleporter and bank then home, while needing a physical gen 6/7 cartridge. I just don't know how to fully do it. Everything was working perfectly fine up until I tried to get event pokemon (korean ver) and I thought it was the same thing just their names are different but I realized once I saved in pksm it took me back to omega ruby in a korean version of the entire game. That would be fine since everything saved except the language in the games also changed and I can't read anything in it now..I even took of the korean mons in the wonder box and changed them to english vers then saved. There’s an option in the events tab that specifies and asks if you’d like to enable the game language to match the event Pokémon language. Set that to off and your game would go back to normal. You’d have to inject an English event first and allow it to change the game language back to English first before making the change. You can also try going into “scripts” and searching for the save language option and change it to English that way I believe, if you can’t find it on the first scripts page then press Y for the 2nd page
An egg move is usually reliant on a move that is only available from breeding or past gens. So add clear smog as one of its moves (maybe move 1) and then in the relearn move section at the bottom, add the move in the relearn area Then check its legality and it will tell you where it wants you to add the relearn move, also check and make sure the origin on where the Pokémon’s met location is specifically bred with its breeding locations

I use PKHex normally, but I might get this lol. I wish there was some way to emulate bank for when that goes down, will suck not being able to transfer old pokemon to switch. Definitely gonna get ALL of the event pokemon I don't have and transfer them up.

I can't find an answer to my question which is Can I hypothetically keep repeating specific events in Pokemon Ultra Moon for example. It's a Celebi event and I have gotten it however I want to do it again to send it to pokemon home. Can i do this on the same save? Does it have to be a different save? Does this make the pokemon illegal ? Is it a different pokemon in terms of not being a "clone" or dupe. will it corrupt my save as the save has registered the event.
Yes you can inject the same event over and over, use the events tab in PKSM and overwrite each injection everytime you grab the Celebi. You can overwrite every slot at any point to get it as many times as you’d ever want. Yes you can do it on the same save and any save as many times as you’d like Yes you can send it to Pokemon home whenever you’d like. No it doesn’t make the Pokémon illegal as it’s a legit event just injected infinitely, gamefreak does the same thing, how would millions of players get the same event on multiple games or saves using the old school codes if there wasn’t an infinite amount of these injected events. What you can do is for each celebi in your pc boxes. Save the game and head back to PKSM and check if each celebi has a different PID. If they are all the same PID # the. reroll the PID to different numbers so that Pokemon home doesn’t mark them as dupes. Cloned and dupes are different, home won’t accept exact dupes but they allow cloned as long as the PID doesn’t match one you already have.
I believe in PKSM when you click edit on a Pokemon, there is a box on the top right of the bottom screen which is the “hex” variables of a Pokemon and you can skim through each data till you see “PID”

Yes actually, so head into PKSM, locate a pokemon and press A and select edit; Then on the bottom screen top right corner, there will be a hex box with numbers, click that to reveal the hex mode. From there scroll through all the numbers until you see “Ability on the bottom screen while scrolling through the numbers. You can change the number in which changes the Pokémon’s ability and it will tell you what ability it is on screen as you go through
For example: in Gen 6, the hex for the abilities selection is on the 2nd row and the 5th over The ability Byte for Contrary is 7E whenever you go to change it
@Paul-zh1wl I wrote the byte for you in terms of the ability contrary. There isn’t a hex number list for abilities since every gen is a little different unfortunately. I just had to unfortunately memorize them all. I’ve tried searching up a list but haven’t found anyone willing to type that all out I suppose.
I made my starter shiny with pokerus and checked it if its legal, and it said it is. But when i go into the game my Rowlet is defeated and going to the poke center to heal it doesn't help. What did i wrong?
#1 if your pkmn is registered to a team- you cannot make legal changes as the game pre registered the pkmn before the changes (this is a Gen 7 bug that is not exclusive to PKSM usage- the same glitch can happen even to pure legit pkmn that get hyper trained normally while pre registered to a team) #2 Pokerus on a pre registered (starter pkmn is impossible) so meaning your starter pkmn that you get at the beginning of the game cannot have Pokerus as Pokerus is only available on pkmn caught in the wild and bred through the game so that’s going to be an invalid memory basis but a legal rule meaning it is legal for Rowlet to be Pokerus and shiny but not if it’s a legit starter from the beginning of the game (caused a missingno effect and the pkmn is permanent faint) #3. Try either making the Rowlet from scratch and auto legalize it so it shows as “hatched from paniola ranch” or take the legit one and copy one to your pc box (outside of your party) and remove the Pokerus off it and see if it appears fine in the game. You can also see if leaving your original Rowlet in the pc box fixes it after a while

Is there a reason why you had us make a backup at the start? Can't you just jump straight into the Pksm and do whatever on that save? Or is it advised that we should keep a save that is not manipulated in any way?
You need to make a backup save because there is no legit save editor to go straight into games with, checkpoint is 3rd party to basically take your save and make a 3rd party accessible copy for other 3rd party apps to see. That’s why people who don’t have a modded console can’t do it at all.

You place them in PKSM storage. Save storage. Then open PKSM with OR and grab them out storage and place them in the boxes below. Then save and save PKSM before leaving

Yes you can, if you make them wrong (not legal) they won’t work. If you could lmk what pkmn you’re trying to make I’d love to help you as I know some Pokémon can be very tricky. And I’d love the specifics on what you have detailed on the pkmns data

By getting bullied as a kid for not knowing how to mod consoles or use programs by the toxic side of the Genning and modding community- so spent 5 years perfecting/analyzing programs and memorizing every pokemon in every game and what are its best abilities, move combinations, stat spreads, item importance, and its best usage for single battles, double battles and triple battles. As an adult, it helped me learn a lot for the future pkmn games so I don’t even need to research a pokemon anymore to know what would be a perfect set on one. I can also just know how to handle programs that are more complex and I’ve modded many consoles for other people now like Wiis, GameCubes , Switch’s, can’t wait for whatever console comes out from Nintendo so I can get a handle on that lol

Yeah it’s like a restaurant warning you they aren’t responsible for you getting food poisoning etc etc- it’s not that it’s gonna happen but it’s so nobody gets sued if it did happen. It’s a normal and legal warning page. You aren’t gonna get banned BUT only edit your trainer name. Do NOT edit anything else Editing TID/SID can cause complications and that’s not even due to PKSM or Hex that’s overall Bytes and your save file being confused why the Bytes are being edited since the entire games code is relying on your ID #s. A Trainer Name doesn’t bother it
QR code? I am unfamiliar with that because I’ve always done everything myself. QR codes is basically someone uploading a pkmn on the storage or something and turning the pkmn into a QR to which you can scan using the QR scanner of PKSM. So you can google search PKSM pkmn QRs and scan it using PKSM’s QR scanner and it’ll go into your storage. But it’s very janky and nobody uses it. I would prefer and suggest people just go to storage and search for the pkmn and read on the right side it’ll say the pkmn is legal or not legal. And take it that way.

Overall yes- this and Pkhex are the only ways to get events and such in your game. If you’re looking for basic events like oh marshadow then I’d say stick to PKSM If looking for old event from like oldddd games such as Gen 4- then I say use Pkhex

Well first things first plz let me know what pkmn you’re trying to legalize: also as stated in the video make sure the pkmn has these details •A Level •A Nature •Shiny or not (UNLESS it’s shiny locked in that game) •Proper Gender •Moves •And IVs then you auto legalize. You don’t need to add locations as that auto fills for you when you legalize

Well Hoopa you don’t make it from scratch- go to the events tab and just inject it into the game. Then you can take it to PKSM and edit it the way you want in terms of nature and moves. Absol is simple. Just make sure it’s male or female Any level 1-100 Shiny or non Has max IVs (you can’t leave it at 0 stats) Then give it the proper LEGAL moves it can have Such as for example: Swords Dance- Sucker Punch-Psycho Cut and Play Rough I believe is another one

Yeah- you can use PKSM storage to move pkmn around and send them from bank to home with no issues. Can clone- edit- create/ get events infinitely- get max items. Get everything
@@MikasaMods the Qr code in your video and on the website. When scanned it says that it cant download due to some erros. I downloaded it through the PC though and installed it that way. I do have another question, so i tried creating pokemon from scratch for Silver VC and added some 99 items. The 99 items showed up but the pokemon arent in the PC. Oddly enough theyre registred in the Pokedex ? is there a reason for this? maybe im not far enough in the game? and thank you for your timely responses :)
Are you asking if it’s possible to raise a shiny encounter? If so, that is only available as an option for Gen 4 games. However if you go to checkpoint and select cheats, there are options for shiny encounter cheats. Once you select your cheats and save them, you will head into your game and press L, Down and Select to open the Rosalina menu and select cheats- and press A on the shiny encounter cheat. If it’s enabled then it will show an X next to the cheat code. Then you exit the menu and play as normal. Be weary as some codes do cause your game to crash or freeze which is ultimately harmless but can get annoying. Especially when you enable multiple cheats at a time.

Alright so if your game is a 3DS game or 3DS rom, there is an application that automatically comes with the console after it’s modded called “checkpoint”. It has a flag icon and is used to create a save point indefinitely for a game. It is what allows you to also use PKSM for 3DS roms/cartridges and DS cartridges. If you’re using a DS rom, in twilight menu I believe if you press Y on a game within the menu, it’ll show options if the game has cheats that can be enabled. If the game cannot be played with cheats then they don’t exist for the game.

Hello, im going to have a friend homebrew my 3ds soon. I only got my 3ds out of storage since pokemon bank will be free and im aiming for a living dex. For the mythical pokemon ( and all other mons in general ), if its legit does that mean pokemon bank/home have no way detecting that its hacked?
Yes, you can do the same for all games. And if you make a pkmn on XY just place the pkmn and storage then open PKSM with OR and go back into storage to grab the pkmn

Delete it from manage softwares and then try to re install it
Make sure it’s the latest version
i love this so much! I always wanted to get event Pokemon that were exclusive like Genesect, Cap Pikachu and Diancie. I'm a completionist and when it comes to getting Pokemon that are available through the game by catching and recently I've been counting events without transferring. Same with shinies so i'm glad I'll be able to get Pokemon like shiny Zygrade, Rayquza, and Necrozma.

I did so much stuff with my 3DS yesterday haha, modded it for the first time ever and now I have PKSM too :) It was a little confusing at first (I use it on the 3DS not PC) but you get the hang of it. I may or may not have made them Sylveon you mentioned 👀 but yeah this is an awesome and well done tutorial :) right now I'm just scanning QR codes with FBI haha
Pc doesn’t support pksm- it supports PkHex. Which maybe I should make a tutorial for PkHex eventually 🤔

Appreciate this tutorial. This has definitely made having cfw that much more worth it. Hadn’t even heard of this and I’m glad I checked this out. Trying not to cheat as much as I can but there’s just those certain ones there’s not much choice for. Especially for starters when it’s like. Yea, I could start a bunch of games and trade them but what’s really the difference at that point? Plus this is just super cool how customizable it is. Ive seen some slightly more complicated variations of things like this before involving PCs and transferring and injecting etc. but never tried them. This was awesome. Pretty simple and so nice having everything right there on the system. just edit it and your done. Go play your game like it was always there. No wasting Pokéballs or scary glitches trying to catch like you get with old game genie or game shark codes.

@@MikasaMods so I just found another really helpful feature of this app. It’s great for breeding because it knows what’s in the egg before it hatches. So you can check the stats of the egg immediately and if they’re no good just release it instead of wasting time incubating it.

Well Dam I’m sorry you got robbed. I would put a link to games but I don’t wanna support piracy on YT and such ya know? Im glad you can now make your very own special favorite Pokémon. And yeah I’ll def think of some stuff to make a tutorial of. I might make a tutorial on how to make pkmn using PkHex which is another Genning application however it’s for PC/Laptop. The Pokémon will be in your 3ds but you make them using a pc. It’s a bit more work to get it setup but imo PkHex is easier to use and probably has more to offer.

This tutorial was excellent!!! Super clear and thorough! Was able to actually sneak a few pokemon in my neice's inbox with better stats and moves so she wouldn't get wrecked so much while playing lol 😂 also sent her one via mystery gift! I wish I had known about this sooner when I was playing 12 year old me weeps lmao I do still want her to have fun raising and trading pokemon so I'm trying to figure out how to help her get some of the more wily mons without just straight up dropping them in her inbox. Is there a way to create a new event somehow? And thanks again for the awesome pokemon content!
Create new events no there isn’t events to create but there are some to inject. So like diancie- Hoopa etc. you can go to the events tab of the PKSM and go to the English tab and press A on an event and inject it. At the very bottom are injection slots to which you can change the slots in which the event will go in so it doesn’t overwrite other pkmn the mystery gift lady is going to send you. You could also create some Pokémon and then put them in your Storage box. So let’s say you make a pkmn that’s legal. You’d save then go to storage and drag the pkmn up into the storage box. So when you say yo your niece I have a surprise for you- you can open the storage box and show her the pkmn was waiting for her in the storage.
Another way is to grab pkmn off the online storage- on the storage section there is a wifi symbol on the bottom left- click it and there will be basically an iCloud of pkmn to grab for your niece and hide them in her storage box. Even I can send you guys pkmn through your own storage 😄 and then you can grab them from the nice YT lady
If there is a specific pkmn your niece likes I can surprise her with something over the GTS and I can guide you through that process of the GTS
GTS is basically on the game where your niece can place a random pkmn on up like zigzagoon or flabebe etc and can ask for any pkmn she wants. Then the nice YT lady can send her the pkmn she had requested on the GTS- she can check the GTS at anytime and the shiny will appear on her screen as if it was a wondertrade
You can also do this for your niece
Make a 6IV Japanese ditto (I could send one to you via storage) and get her any English pkmn she has and place them in the daycare so she can try to breed her very own pkmn. You can give her max all items so she can use the medicines like iron- calcium etc to EV train her own pkmn. You could leave the EVs blank when Genning so she can work on those herself.
In my personal opinion start off by teaching her how to breed pkmn.
I’m gonna leave a 6IV Japanese ditto in the PKSM WiFi storage for you. It will have the OT Shannice on it for you.
When you click my ditto to download- drag it into your storage box and save and press B- then drag the pkmn from the storage box into her pc box with the rest of her pkmn
Save and leave to go to “Scripts”
Click it and scroll down to the tab (items)
Click it and press A to inject all Berriesx99
All itemsx99
And all medicinex99
Save PKSM fully after that and head to the daycare center to place the Japanese ditto and whatever pkmn (non legendary) in the daycare so she can breed for her own pkmn that has a 1 in 4000 chance to be shiny. It’s a workout but it’ll give her some insight on EV IV and shiny breeding. The medicines will be there for her to learn how to give proper EVs to her pkmn
Then there’s the hyper training you can teach her as well so she can get those stat boosts

Scroll down and scan the QR code using the 3DS app called FBI. You use FBI-SD-Remote install and scan QR code
Hshop will be install onto your console and going into the app allows you to download any 3DS game you’d like :)
When bringing your rom over. Keep the save of the rom on your desktop/pc
Let twilight create a new save for you in the 3DS console when starting the rom on there. Once you are able to save in game- exit and turn the console off. Head onto your computer- open the SD
Go to your roms folder- go to your saves folder and find the Pokémon save it made. Go to properties and copy the entire name of the save. Delete the save in the folder immediately after.
Now the original save you left on your desktop, click properties and paste the name and then drag that file into the saves folder.
Now you can go back into your 3DS and twilight menu and play with your original save.
Trying to just drag and drop the save asap will not work, you have to do it as instructed

Yes as long as the Pokémon are legal or have at least moves that are not impossible or forms that are not not available such as mega formed pkmn and such then it will go through to any game without problem. 😄
Pkmn home has an auto tracker so any pkmn that are deemed hacked such as a Mega From Rayquaza with a move Dark Void will not be able to go through and will tell you how many pkmn are not able to pass through and automatically remove the hacked pkmn.

Hello 💃🏻, uh yes groudon can only be legal shiny in HGSS. So you’d have to create one via HGSS save and then place it in the storage of PKSM. Go in PKSM on the 3DS game such as XY ORAS etc and head back to storage to grab the groudon

Hello! I loved your tutorial^^and out of what I learned I was able to make a shiny female eevee out of this!I was really nervous though,but I assume nothing can go wrong when using the tool,I can check for info back on serebii so my mons can come out legal and normal.
Talking about legal,about the legality checker,and you legalizing your cloyster,i read in the pksm mod wiki that using the legality checker could potentially break your ds,is this of high chance,or very low?
Why use the legalizer to legalize the legit mon when abilities/moves/and Shiny are possible legit?
Just a question really,since when I read that well it shocked me,that,and before I used pksm,it completely slipped from me to backup my pokemon saves and I now had 999× rare candies and Love balls 😳
I’ve been doing this for 7 years- nobody has ever messed their stuff up doing this. They put a false warning claiming they are not responsible for anything that could (potentially happen) but that’s like restaurants when you eat their food saying they aren’t responsible for anything that happens to you either like if you get an allergic reaction etc. it’s not gonna happen but it’s just something out of morality they write down. Even though they aren’t a company- they have to be like one- all companies and applications always have a warning saying oh we aren’t responsible for anything that happens to your phone or device etc.
And you don’t have to auto legalize legit mons- I only showcase it cause people will make the claim to me sometimes “prove your pkmn are legal for your giveaways or I won’t take your pkmn” so I showcase what I do for basically people who are afraid of legal pkmn and such. Cause people tend to mistaken genned pkmn from hacked pkmn

Since WiFi capabilities are being shut down for the 3Ds soon, I wanted to be sure I could clone my Pokemon and send them to home before bank inevitably gets the boot too.. I am so glad the community is dilligent when it comes to these kinds of things, I was worried my Pokemon would be trapped forever. Thanks for the tutorial!
Yw, it also won’t be shut down for good, as with the DS servers and games, there is a DNS server that allows things to be played online still. Very sure the 3DS will be no exception same with the Wii

Of if you have Hshop then it’s definitely modded as this cannot be done with regular consoles
You also cannot make pkmn with a regular console it has to be CFW (custom firmware=Modded firmware)

There is also an app on your console called universal updater: in there look for ndsforwarder (it looks like a narwhal which is a whale with a horn) that app allows you to install DS games onto the home menu of your screen.

Been loving the tutorials so far, great work! I just have a question, would you know how to transfer Pokemon from Twilight menu++ games to home? I know you have to go through teleporter and bank then home, while needing a physical gen 6/7 cartridge. I just don't know how to fully do it. I've been replaying HG and Black 2 and would love to get those Pokemon to my switch to use.

You don’t need physical games at all, you don’t need poke transport at all either. That is extremely outdated
Everything was working perfectly fine up until I tried to get event pokemon (korean ver) and I thought it was the same thing just their names are different but I realized once I saved in pksm it took me back to omega ruby in a korean version of the entire game. That would be fine since everything saved except the language in the games also changed and I can't read anything in it now..I even took of the korean mons in the wonder box and changed them to english vers then saved. It's still not working please let me know how to fix this. Thank you so much for the vid btw.
There’s an option in the events tab that specifies and asks if you’d like to enable the game language to match the event Pokémon language. Set that to off and your game would go back to normal. You’d have to inject an English event first and allow it to change the game language back to English first before making the change.
You can also try going into “scripts” and searching for the save language option and change it to English that way I believe, if you can’t find it on the first scripts page then press Y for the 2nd page

I’ve been having a problem with egg moves. I’m trying to make a chandelure with clear smog and It says it’s an illegal move
What generation are you attempting the move for? Cause the move has to be available for the Pokémon depending on the game
@ 7 I checked and It says online that it’s a valid egg moves
An egg move is usually reliant on a move that is only available from breeding or past gens. So add clear smog as one of its moves (maybe move 1) and then in the relearn move section at the bottom, add the move in the relearn area
Then check its legality and it will tell you where it wants you to add the relearn move, also check and make sure the origin on where the Pokémon’s met location is specifically bred with its breeding locations

I use PKHex normally, but I might get this lol. I wish there was some way to emulate bank for when that goes down, will suck not being able to transfer old pokemon to switch. Definitely gonna get ALL of the event pokemon I don't have and transfer them up.
We still don’t know what’s gonna happen to bank when the shit shuts down, if they decide to discard everything else but keep that active that would be nice- cause that defeats the whole point of pkmn home as a whole honestly and would ruin their sales cause ain’t nobody gonna be buying premium home if the whole point of premium is to transfer from 3DS to switch
I have the slightest feeling these goobers are gonna make a new console to have home on and add bank to switch and probably either port the 3DS games over or remake them. Either way I have a modded switch so I’m not worried about that no more. I bet someone will make a CFW version of bank if anything or someone will make DNS servers to keep 3DS active like they did with the DS pkmn games

I can't find an answer to my question which is Can I hypothetically keep repeating specific events in Pokemon Ultra Moon for example. It's a Celebi event and I have gotten it however I want to do it again to send it to pokemon home. Can i do this on the same save? Does it have to be a different save? Does this make the pokemon illegal ? Is it a different pokemon in terms of not being a "clone" or dupe. will it corrupt my save as the save has registered the event.
Yes you can inject the same event over and over, use the events tab in PKSM and overwrite each injection everytime you grab the Celebi. You can overwrite every slot at any point to get it as many times as you’d ever want.
Yes you can do it on the same save and any save as many times as you’d like
Yes you can send it to Pokemon home whenever you’d like.
No it doesn’t make the Pokémon illegal as it’s a legit event just injected infinitely, gamefreak does the same thing, how would millions of players get the same event on multiple games or saves using the old school codes if there wasn’t an infinite amount of these injected events.
What you can do is for each celebi in your pc boxes. Save the game and head back to PKSM and check if each celebi has a different PID. If they are all the same PID # the. reroll the PID to different numbers so that Pokemon home doesn’t mark them as dupes. Cloned and dupes are different, home won’t accept exact dupes but they allow cloned as long as the PID doesn’t match one you already have.

I believe in PKSM when you click edit on a Pokemon, there is a box on the top right of the bottom screen which is the “hex” variables of a Pokemon and you can skim through each data till you see “PID”
@@MikasaMods oh okay I see that. I ended up just downloading PKHeX and transfering a back up save file through checkpoint and compared the two. Yep they both have different PID. Thanks, I can do it through PKSM now. I did not know that.

Yes actually, so head into PKSM, locate a pokemon and press A and select edit;
Then on the bottom screen top right corner, there will be a hex box with numbers, click that to reveal the hex mode. From there scroll through all the numbers until you see “Ability on the bottom screen while scrolling through the numbers. You can change the number in which changes the Pokémon’s ability and it will tell you what ability it is on screen as you go through
For example: in Gen 6, the hex for the abilities selection is on the 2nd row and the 5th over
The ability Byte for Contrary is 7E whenever you go to change it

@Paul-zh1wl I wrote the byte for you in terms of the ability contrary. There isn’t a hex number list for abilities since every gen is a little different unfortunately. I just had to unfortunately memorize them all. I’ve tried searching up a list but haven’t found anyone willing to type that all out I suppose.
They just have you scroll through every everything in the hex editor and edit things manually
I made my starter shiny with pokerus and checked it if its legal, and it said it is. But when i go into the game my Rowlet is defeated and going to the poke center to heal it doesn't help. What did i wrong?
#1 if your pkmn is registered to a team- you cannot make legal changes as the game pre registered the pkmn before the changes (this is a Gen 7 bug that is not exclusive to PKSM usage- the same glitch can happen even to pure legit pkmn that get hyper trained normally while pre registered to a team)
#2 Pokerus on a pre registered (starter pkmn is impossible) so meaning your starter pkmn that you get at the beginning of the game cannot have Pokerus as Pokerus is only available on pkmn caught in the wild and bred through the game so that’s going to be an invalid memory basis but a legal rule meaning it is legal for Rowlet to be Pokerus and shiny but not if it’s a legit starter from the beginning of the game (caused a missingno effect and the pkmn is permanent faint)
#3. Try either making the Rowlet from scratch and auto legalize it so it shows as “hatched from paniola ranch” or take the legit one and copy one to your pc box (outside of your party) and remove the Pokerus off it and see if it appears fine in the game. You can also see if leaving your original Rowlet in the pc box fixes it after a while

Is there a reason why you had us make a backup at the start? Can't you just jump straight into the Pksm and do whatever on that save? Or is it advised that we should keep a save that is not manipulated in any way?
You need to make a backup save because there is no legit save editor to go straight into games with, checkpoint is 3rd party to basically take your save and make a 3rd party accessible copy for other 3rd party apps to see. That’s why people who don’t have a modded console can’t do it at all.

I'm struggling to move Pokemon from Gen 4 and 5 up to 6 and 7 and I'm wondering how I do this? I tried moving a Patrat from black to OR and it doesn't show
You place them in PKSM storage. Save storage. Then open PKSM with OR and grab them out storage and place them in the boxes below. Then save and save PKSM before leaving

It has to be max level- Max IVs- Max friendship and all that

@@MikasaMods Level 100, All IV stats 31 and friendship maxed at 255. Unfortunately the message is still there. I did look in the hex editor and found "contest stats sheen" or however its called in english. Is there a certain combination I need to input? Looks intimidating, quite frankly.
It all depends on your pkmn and if your pkmn has the origin from XY- ORAS or a prior gen

Yes you can, if you make them wrong (not legal) they won’t work. If you could lmk what pkmn you’re trying to make I’d love to help you as I know some Pokémon can be very tricky. And I’d love the specifics on what you have detailed on the pkmns data

This sounds like an amazing program how did you learn how to navigate the features like you did?
By getting bullied as a kid for not knowing how to mod consoles or use programs by the toxic side of the Genning and modding community- so spent 5 years perfecting/analyzing programs and memorizing every pokemon in every game and what are its best abilities, move combinations, stat spreads, item importance, and its best usage for single battles, double battles and triple battles.
As an adult, it helped me learn a lot for the future pkmn games so I don’t even need to research a pokemon anymore to know what would be a perfect set on one. I can also just know how to handle programs that are more complex and I’ve modded many consoles for other people now like Wiis, GameCubes , Switch’s, can’t wait for whatever console comes out from Nintendo so I can get a handle on that lol

at 7:28, when I want to edit my trainer info, it tells me "gamesync ID found. editing trainer info may get you banned" is it normal?
Yeah it’s like a restaurant warning you they aren’t responsible for you getting food poisoning etc etc- it’s not that it’s gonna happen but it’s so nobody gets sued if it did happen. It’s a normal and legal warning page. You aren’t gonna get banned BUT only edit your trainer name. Do NOT edit anything else
Editing TID/SID can cause complications and that’s not even due to PKSM or Hex that’s overall Bytes and your save file being confused why the Bytes are being edited since the entire games code is relying on your ID #s. A Trainer Name doesn’t bother it

QR code? I am unfamiliar with that because I’ve always done everything myself. QR codes is basically someone uploading a pkmn on the storage or something and turning the pkmn into a QR to which you can scan using the QR scanner of PKSM. So you can google search PKSM pkmn QRs and scan it using PKSM’s QR scanner and it’ll go into your storage. But it’s very janky and nobody uses it. I would prefer and suggest people just go to storage and search for the pkmn and read on the right side it’ll say the pkmn is legal or not legal. And take it that way.

3DS pkmn games can have a 100% catch rate using a plugin or u can check (checkpoint for cheats for the game)
Other than that- you’d need to catch them or Gen them with what you’re looking for
Hi! So I’m trying to complete my Pokédex for all of my 3DS games, I’ve missed many of the events, etc. Is this the best and/or only way to generate any Pokémon you want into your game?
Overall yes- this and Pkhex are the only ways to get events and such in your game. If you’re looking for basic events like oh marshadow then I’d say stick to PKSM
If looking for old event from like oldddd games such as Gen 4- then I say use Pkhex

Well first things first plz let me know what pkmn you’re trying to legalize: also as stated in the video make sure the pkmn has these details
•A Level
•A Nature
•Shiny or not (UNLESS it’s shiny locked in that game)
•Proper Gender
•Moves
•And IVs then you auto legalize. You don’t need to add locations as that auto fills for you when you legalize

Well Hoopa you don’t make it from scratch- go to the events tab and just inject it into the game. Then you can take it to PKSM and edit it the way you want in terms of nature and moves.
Absol is simple. Just make sure it’s male or female
Any level 1-100
Shiny or non
Has max IVs (you can’t leave it at 0 stats)
Then give it the proper LEGAL moves it can have
Such as for example: Swords Dance- Sucker Punch-Psycho Cut and Play Rough I believe is another one

Yeah- you can use PKSM storage to move pkmn around and send them from bank to home with no issues. Can clone- edit- create/ get events infinitely- get max items. Get everything

@@MikasaMods the Qr code in your video and on the website. When scanned it says that it cant download due to some erros. I downloaded it through the PC though and installed it that way. I do have another question, so i tried creating pokemon from scratch for Silver VC and added some 99 items. The 99 items showed up but the pokemon arent in the PC. Are you asking if it’s possible to raise a shiny encounter? If so, that is only available as an option for Gen 4 games. However if you go to checkpoint and select cheats, there are options for shiny encounter cheats. Once you select your cheats and save them, you will head into your game and press L, Down and Select to open the Rosalina menu and select cheats- and press A on the shiny encounter cheat. If it’s enabled then it will show an X next to the cheat code.
Then you exit the menu and play as normal. Be weary as some codes do cause your game to crash or freeze which is ultimately harmless but can get annoying. Especially when you enable multiple cheats at a time.

Yes basically the only game I played with “special options” were gen 4-5, with a very basic action replay, and I was so used to just select “every encounter as a shiny” or something like that. Now I got a homebrew 3ds, just downloaded pksm from fbi, but I was wondering about this shiny encounter feature. Can I ask you what’s “checkpoint” you wrote? Sorry in advance, I’m still learning 😅
Alright so if your game is a 3DS game or 3DS rom, there is an application that automatically comes with the console after it’s modded called “checkpoint”. It has a flag icon and is used to create a save point indefinitely for a game. It is what allows you to also use PKSM for 3DS roms/cartridges and DS cartridges.
If you’re using a DS rom, in twilight menu I believe if you press Y on a game within the menu, it’ll show options if the game has cheats that can be enabled. If the game cannot be played with cheats then they don’t exist for the game.

So when using this to play DS games, you can press Y over a game you added to the menu and it’ll show if and what cheats can be used in the game.

Go to that site and scroll down to the Qr code, on your 3DS console go to the FBI app and go to “remote install” and scan QR for the Hshop. Once downloaded go onto the 3DS home menu and you can head into Hshop and download any 3DS game you want and play as normal
Hello, im going to have a friend homebrew my 3ds soon. I only got my 3ds out of storage since pokemon bank will be free and im aiming for a living dex. For the mythical pokemon ( and all other mons in general ), if its legit does that mean pokemon bank/home have no way detecting that its hacked?
It isn’t hacked anyway. Genning isn’t hacking. There’s no coding involved. So it’s safe to bring to home and bank

Yes, you can do the same for all games. And if you make a pkmn on XY just place the pkmn and storage then open PKSM with OR and go back into storage to grab the pkmn
