- Rv cold start at the wacky - Big Block 460 sat all winter will it start? 1987 Honey motorhome cold start. Everyone that loves trucks or cars cant resist seeing if the old V8 engine is gonna start up today. And if it does what will that engine sound like?

That's just like mine I bought and it does the same thing by cranking I love it
I have a 460 from a motor home in my Miata. It's incredible how much abuse these engines will take. Cool video!

First thing to do when she’s been sitting that long is just crank it for 10-15 seconds to build up fuel pressure and fill the carb with fuel, than pump the gas a few times and hit the key. Yeah starting fluid helps too. Nice rig! 👍
oldy but goody yes I play with the gas a little it was just after winter starts much quicker now

Wacky....that start just left me speechless let`s say....don`t move....don`t go now wear....I have to get Grizz 270 to show him how good a furd is....He`s always bullshifting about Furd....that a real special one you got there....you must build a museum or something...you know they don`t let these in motor home parks any more.....they send them out in the wild camping with the tents and small trailers....CHEERS

Me to its fixed up nice inside wood floor and flatscreen. I had a 90 econoline once and have a 96 now I to always like the square body. Plus its paid for LOL

Yep every yr at my dad's do the same thing. He just pumped the gas a lot more No starting fluid or extra charge....hit the the like for that

My son had a 460 Big Block in his 30 foot motor home. Starting the engine was not it’s biggest problem

Hey greenbaywacky!!! That 1987 RV with the Ford big block 460 and it looked really old but it looks like you been running it for a long time! That is so amazing that you were able to get it started up after sitting all winter long! How often do you take your RV out with your family or your wife? It also look like that you had 1/5 wheel as well? Glad you had the battery jumper to get it started it sounded really good after you got it going! She sounds pretty powerful! great to see ya. Not my normal comedy videos just random. I don't get to hit the road often to busy but take local drives I just treat it like a big van LOL always insured tabs etc.. Inside is nice I put a wood floor in and flatscreen tvs its clean needs a power wash and some new striping this year LOL. - the camper is just a gutted storage one but I actually flip campers in the summer have owned a lot of campers.

Mine only starts with starter fluid.. and i have to keep the gas on.. wonder if i should get the carb rebuilt.. howd you get the air box out? I tried but it snags on the center bolt

Sweet rig! I have a 1984 ford E350 motorhome with the same engine w/a carburetor and it is lagging and sputtering out when I put on the gas. Did you ever have that problem when you drove this around? It starts up great and sounds good but then when I put on the gas, it lags a little and sputters out. Any thoughts? Thank you!
What’s the MPG like in this RV, I’m looking at a 94 E350 motorhome dually with the 460 and its 27ft. The owner is saying it averages 15 but I find that hard to believe with a big block gas engine. Would really appreciate your input on this!
