Thanks for your comment Kar Mel. Often a negative thought is repetitive, because it comes from an attitude or belief. It is sometimes useful to look for the underlying attitude or belief that may be causing the negative thought to reoccur and then to look at the evidence for the attitude or belief, and ask what evidence exists for a better/more accurate attitude or belief. In this way we can sometimes end the flow of that repeating negative thought and turn on a flow of more useful, more empowering thoughts. Best wishes, Paul
Hi Jo Jo, I know what you mean. There is a lot of focus going into protecting people physically at the moment, and not so much focus on protecting people mentally. I'm going to do a video on mindfulness next, in the next couple of days, so I hope that might be useful for your teenagers, in offering a way of bringing ourselves back to the present moment, which is a great way to deal with stress, anxiety, feeling low etc. I hope it helps. Its almost like this is as bad as the virus. My teenagers are struggling the most as they can't comprehend being locked in when they are not at danger
