      This is a lovely practice for me; 69 years of age and been living as companionably as possible (since age 28) with the after effects of a once life threatening autoimmune disease, dermatomyositis and other chronic conditions. Thank you so much for this gentle practice with a wonderful variety of poses within the 30 minute time span.

    I’m 1 week post laparoscopic total hysterectomy and needed something to get me moving again. Being a long time Kassandra follower I knew she’d have something! I may not have a uterus anymore but seeing as the same muscle groups are tender I thought this would be perfect. It was! Throughout the flow I found myself reminiscing about my past 32 years as a menstruating human, the good the bad and unfortunately lots of ugly. During shavasana, with my hands on my belly, I started crying happy tears because I finally knew that I had made the right decision for quality of life and this practice was the right way to say goodbye to this stage of my life. I just want to shout out all those out there struggling with reproductive system issues and know that we are all bonded, even if we don’t physically have our uteruses anymore, and you are not alone in your journey. We feel you! ❤️

    Woke up this morning on the first day of my cycle, went onto youtube with the intention of searching "yoga for when you're on your period," and before I could even begin typing, saw that this video had just been uploaded.     i'm overwhelmed by how much loving kindness i have towards myself and my body after a lifetime of chronic self hatred, dieting, pushing my body past exhaustion, etc. it is in part the practice of yoga that has completely transformed the way i think about myself and care for myself. thank you for this practice, it was a trigger in a good way to show me how far i've come

    Had such a painful night of cramps last night. Woke up this morning still in pain. I have a big exam today and not only did this help alleviate my pain and connect me to the divine feminine energy but also relax completely before my exam! Thank you Kassandra! This was a truly lovely practice.

    Although I am 58 years young and post menopausal ~ I still have lower backache and occasional cramps. Thank you for a beautiful grounding class. I actually cried 🦋

    At this time of month I am normally annoyed and agitated at the pain and hassle of my period. But at then end of this practice, bringing attention to this area, Brought renewed awareness of how we as women are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 119:14). Instead of annoyed, I ended this practice amazed at the complexity of our bodies and thankful.

    This is the second month in a row that I've done this class during my moon cycle. It has become my favorite self-care ritual when I'm going through the roughest part of my period. It's so nourishing, grounding, loving, and makes such a difference relieving cramps and low back pain.
    I made today's session more of a ritual by lighting a candle, smudging myself, laying chakra-balancing crystals alongside my mat, and having cushions, a blanket, and cycle-supporting herbal tea close at hand. It was such a wonderful self-care treat that has already brought tremendous comfort to my day.

      this is so cute, i also made this ritual and lit my reiki infused candle, smudged myself and the space above my mat, and had a heated blanket ready to go for savasana. makes such a huge difference to set the intention of loving self care

    Just sharing a simple thanks, Kassandra. This was exactly what I needed. I get very emotional and cry every period (very relieving for some reason) but was so stressed by work/life this time that I couldn’t and that added to the tension even more. The tears started flowing by the end of this practice and ironically I feel so much more at peace now. So thank you….

    I almost skipped this one because I am post menopausal. BUT, let me tell you…I’m having other belly issues and a bout of bursitis in my hips. This practice was absolutely perfect and just what my mind and body needs today. I’m listening to my body and being gentle with myself. And loose clothes work for a 57 year old just fine!     I usually do yoga in the mornings with your videos, but the last couple days have been such high pain days with my period that I haven't done any of my morning ritual. This morning I decided that since my pain was a little more tolerable I'd get back into it, but I decided to search yoga for menstrual cramps, and this video of yours popped up! I was so pleased to have one that was you. 😁 You're my favorite yoga teacher. I love that you never pressure anyone to do poses that'll hurt too much, and I had complete faith that you'd only use gentle, comforting ones here. 😊

    This is the second time I do this on my period, it works like a charm! I’m not saying the pain fully goes away, but it does help easing A LOT! What usually would take 1-2 days to heal only takes me half a day now. Thank you for the wonderful peaceful time 💛

    i'm on the second day of my cycle and this gentle, nourishing class was everything i needed. thank you the reminder to not tense the lower belly and to blow everything out - I will keep this with me as i carry on the rest of my day. this class allowed me to start my day with the highest form of self care, i loved it! thank you Kassandra

    this is such a helpful, realieving practice. whenever i have my period and have very bad cramps i do this and it helps me so much every time and im so grateful for that. its not just the movement but your words and voice also. ❤️ thank you, for making it easier for me to be on my periodt and for reminding me how important it is to give myself permission to relax a bit more while im on my period. you’ll be in my prayers. ❤️

    This is so yummy. I did this in a warm and darkened room with just my cat for company. It has helped both my PMS go away and some of my fibromyalgia pain too. Thank you Kassandra for this gentle gift!

    Second day into my period with on and off cramps. I was able to do a 10 min flow with you this morning, and now I was too crampy to have lunch so I decided to do some yoga before I take some pain killers. Even though the discomfort still there, my body and mind feel so much relaxed and I work up a bit appetite 🎉

    I have done this class pretty much every month since its release. I have the sequence memorized but I like to follow the video for the timing - It may not be the most exciting class, but it is by far Kassandra’s most important video for me!

    Comforted to see I'm not the only one crying through this practice. With my hands in the yoni mudra on my belly I was overwhelmed by my body telling me I needed to rest. I needed to listen and let go. I need to be present with myself. I'm in a period of such profound grief--it was nice to cry while also finding the knowledge that I can hold myself. Thank you so much

    I Was diagnosed with pcos 5 years ago , every period ive had since then has been extemely painful and exhausting to the point where iv had to take a painkillers to help alleviate the pain .I Never liked taking them and have always wanted to try alernate ways to deal with the horrible pain and mood swings. I tried your yoga yesterday , went easy on myself, ate nutritious food and my first day was almost as good as any other day . Thankyou for this.

    , now is about the time I do HIIT and Pilates and my cramps were really bitching but I didn’t just want to skip a day so this really helped my cramps 😊 I’m going to wait a couple hours before I work out but this was so relaxing

    It has been a while since I’ve committed myself to yoga. What a wonderful time to get back to my intentions. 2 days into my cycle, following the full moon in Aquarius last night. I needed this nourishing yoga practice this morning. It reminded me that no matter what I’m going through I need to take time to nourish and be gentle to myself and my body. That I don’t always have to push myself. That it is ok to slow down and relax. Thank you.

    Woke up at 5 in the morning. I had cramps. First day of periods. Searched yoga for period pain and this came up. I would say in the first few minutes I could sense a relief from the pain. Ladies if you are looking at this video, just do it. I rarely comment on TH-cam videos but thought maybe this message would help you in making your decision. This is so relaxing and you'll feel how the pain is fading away during the whole practice. It's 6 in the morning and I’m feeling much better. Thank you Kassandra!

    THANK YOU! this is exactly what I needed before I faced my day. Waking up first day of your cycle bloated, lower back pain and just all around yuck feeling is the worst, especially if you have a to-do list. This 30minutes was PERFECTION to ease in to the day and regulate my mood as well 😀

    I’d been waiting to watch this when I came on my period. I follow you most days and couldn’t wait. This was great. I don’t know if I feel better physically but this was a great reminder to be kind and gentle to my body and remember that i am WOMAN. 💕

    Currently in recovery from a laparoscopy (endometriosis). I just cried my heart out. I hold so much hatred towards my body, because of my pain & trauma, and also the fact I am not able to live like a normal 19 year old. This was such a nourishing experience, not only physically but emotionally. Thank you so much for giving me a safe space 🙏🏻🤍

    I left work early today because my cramps were so bad I couldn’t take it. When I got home my stomach was hurting cramps were so severe I threw up like at least three times. I put a heating pad on my stomach but that still didn’t do the trick. Then I remembered this video I saved and I am so glad I did I swear as I was doing this yoga video the cramps started to alleviate immediately. Thank you so so so much for this every month I’m going to do this for my period
