    On every period, I am in pain, full of cramps, dizziness and discomfort. Some months ago I tried this video, to avoid pain relief pills. The result was amazing! I felt so much better, relaxed and not in pain anymore. I felt like I was giving a therapeutic massage to the painful area and the relief was instant and present. At first, I was worried that the poses will be hard for me, especially on my period (no experience at all), but it turned out to be exactly what my body needed 💖 Sometimes I choose 0,75 speed, to have more time on every pose.

    It was really a very effective yoga class. Since you are on ur periods, it's difficult to even get out of bed. But cheers to all those who practiced this yoga class and found it very helpful. ❤✨

    I'm on the first day of my period and tried this yoga sequence as I have all of the symptoms mentioned. I found this sequence helpful but the video moved far too quickly through each posture. My body naturally wants to move more slowly and easily when I have my period and it was hard to do that with the pace of this video.

      Hey, this also happens to me in most yoga videos, but specially when I am PMSing, yeah. I see that your comment is a couple of years old, but maybe my suggestion can still be helpful: What I do is to adjust the speed of the video, on settings (lower right side of the video), to 0,75, so it goes slightly slower. Kassandra speaks quite fast on the normal speed, so you won't even notice the difference; she just sound more chill :) Hope it (still) helps! ;)

      I understand that too. I feel like what you can do is change the speed playback settings a little slower

    I have endometriosis and as my days get closer to menstruating I experience intense low back pain and stiffness in addition to bloating and cramping. This practice was just enough. Didn’t have the energy to do anything longer than about 15 min. Thank you Kassandra!

    You are a gentle, kind soul who is helping in more ways than you realize! I’ve done a couple of your videos. I love the way you are patient and calming when you speak.     Nice video! I opted not to do the inverted pose since it’s counter to the flow of my cycle, so I just rest my legs in a butterfly pose while on the block. Thank you Kassandra, so thankful for your channel! 💛

    Thank you for the short yoga flow for periods, Kassandra. However, it will be helpful if you provide modifications for the poses as most of them are even more difficult to do during periods. I always knew not to do inversion poses during periods so I avoided the hip lift but raising my legs was comforting. The savasana was too short and rushed.

    Holy Smokes!! What a beneficial sequence ... I was in severe pain from bloating (from PMS) and BOOm, though the bloating has lasted seven hours, and not even walking could take it away, it was gone through the first half of your class... What an effective sequence. Blessings and WholeHearted thanks, because the pain was so intense and this was so effective I cant almost believe it. Thanks thanks thanks.

    i am so grateful you had a practice video associated with menstrual cycle!
    I noticed the somewhat bloat and digestion ease up with the twists. I appreciate (it's in all the videos that I've seen/heard) that you use non-competitive? words when describing different poses (paraphrasing: we're not pushing ourselves if it's too hard, only if your body is ready, etc. very intuitive? focused instead of external performance although its not focused on the meditation aspect fully).

    Kassandra is one wonderful soul and great teacher! Being a yoga teacher myself love to practice her videos during my self Practice.. but a kind advice or to use any kind of inversions while menstruation as it disturbs the flow of Apana vayu which is essential for periods… let’s utilise the power of yoga to improve and support our body and not to go against its nature! Especially during periods❤

    I really liked the majority of this video EXCEPT the lunges. That made me feel worse. Also certain poses were too short and you went a little too fast but thank you for this video. If I use this agin I will just skip the lunges. Thank you!

    Thank you. First day -I’ll still need to curl up with my hot water bottle but probably won’t take painkiller. Def feel less as if someone squeezing my stomach muscles! No chance of doing the bridge pose- I have no ab strength today, made it about a cm off the floor 😂 but the waterfall with the block sooooo nice. Like the earlier comment I nearly fell asleep!! THANK YOU

    very helpful i loved it!! i was in pain like crazy!! your move sequence was so gentle and once u said lower back alll the pain went away!! I got some rest after this n drank some hot tea to still soothe the body but it helped my blood flow waay much faster n smoother! cramps started slowly going away! thank you!! i would love to see more of these!
