I have an 84 200s that my dad gave me a few years before he passed away. It's all original and in pretty mint condition. Plastics, the gas tank, etc. all mint! It sat in the garage for quite few years after the rear bearings went on it, but my uncle has been helping me fix it over the last few weeks. So far we've replaced the rear and front axle bearings and all the seals, new brake pads front and back, cleaned the carb, new air filter and I got new tires for it because I want to preserve the originals. I have so many good memories of my dad and this bike. Now it's time to make new memories with it and my son. He's just turning 3 and someday the plan is to pass it on to him. :)

Great video, thanks for sharing your awesome collection. It’s always nice seeing other guys that have spent years hoarding these fantastic old machines !!!
Man, this brings back so many memories! I started out with an ATC 110 back in 1982 I must’ve put 30,000 miles on that poor thing but it never let me down then I bought a 250 R in 1989 the last year they built the high-performance two-stroke and I just sold it a month ago for $4000. Meanwhile I paid $3700 for it brand new 33 years ago, it was hard to let go but I still have a 450 R and a 400 EX for the wife, thank you for what you do, Hondas forever!
Thanks for the comment man!! And for sharing! Man, I wish I knew you had an 89 R for sale! Would love to add one of those to the collection some day. Thanks for watching my videos!
The 70 ATC had to be the toughest thing ever made. We stayed with my cousins in Central Louisiana one summer and we never let it cool off when the sun was up! Collectors like you and Binky have saved so many trikes and brings back so many memories of growing up riding a lot of these models.
Thnx for the stroll down memory lane! Grew up on a '78 90 Honda. Just aquired an '84 200m garage kept; just giving it some TLC. I can't get over how most of your bikes have the original gas tanks, so cool. Big hello from South Louisiana 😊

What an amazing collection. I’ve got an 86 200x n an all blacked out 84 200x. My dream was always to have one one every year every color ever model but u beat me to it
Love your collection. When I was a teen, I had a deck of Honda playing cards and I was drooling over an ‘85 200x but my parents never let me get one. My late uncle had a red 110 we rode when we visited him in Arizona and my dad had a blue trail 70. My parents have since passed, and I’m purchasing 3 acres of mountain property and my wife suggested we get some quads for the property and the kids. Hell yes, I now ride a harley but my ATV dreams might finally now be realized. I just need my 18 year old son to put down the playstation controller and join me in some outdoor fun. We will probably be looking for used sport quads out here in Central Cali. PS. I just found my old Honda playing cards when I cleaned out my Moms house.

And I've got a couple decks of those cards myself and they're awesome. Honda was the best at having cool stuff like that.
I salute you!! Love all the work you have put into your collection!! My first trike was a US 90 then a 110 then a 1986 250R I'm really wanting my 250R back and I will get one soon
It's been a big part of my life for the past 5 years. I do my best to balance family time with Honda time... It is very tricky and I have a very understanding wife.
My daughter loves coming on trike journeys too. We just drove from Halifax , NS to Winnipeg , MB for a 86 350X and a 85 Tri Z and back to Halifax last week.
The ATCs were and are still my favorite machines to ride. Particularly the 85-86 250r. The 350x was far more reliable but that 250r felt so violent and fun. I have 3 of the 86 250r engine cutouts never ran.
I owned a 1989, TRX 250 R and that thing fired up on the second kick the whole time I had it for 33 years I just sold it for more than I paid for it originally
Wow I would love to have that collection and never get rid of it and pass it down I owned one dirt bike a four wheeler and about 20 trikes in my time they're the best u have some beautiful trikes WOW
Your collection takes the cake . Very nice work and dedication. There's a barn full of 200x's, 250r's a few 350s and there might be a cpl odysseys. They were put up there in the early 90s with low hours. I know the long story of how he ended up with all of them...i do not know why he has refused to sell a single 1 or really show anyone (esp now a days). Iv been asking 21 years including a bunch of others i know and hes a cold sob about it.. They were prepped for long term storage mechanically and covered in a good dry barn... The owner has not touched them since tucking away. Its killing me but wont give up..
Awesome collection. I couldn't imagine being able to collect that many. The 88 250r quad is an awesome machine, but I think the other guy made out with that Tecate 3. The 86 Tecate 3, or a Tecate 4 are my bucket list toys.
Thank you! I'm not so sure that you're right though about the 88 R vs. the Tecate. The Tecate was maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10 regarding condition. It ran and all, but left a lot to be desired. The 88 R is definitely a 9+ out of 10. It's not perfect but is WAY nicer than that Tecate was. Not to mention, I'm a Honda guy and really don't care about any other brand.
Thinking recently how I had a bunch of machines at home, 1984 125m, 1986 250es, 1986 xr80r, 1977 CB550F, 2016 Ktm 150sx, 2008 Ktm 450xc. lmao. Very nice collection. You're pretty lucky coming across these 250r and 350sx, because here in Quebec, Canada they are a pain to find. I would trade all my stuff just for one of these 2. I watched the whole thing very impressive collection. I would be a kid in a candy store walking in your garage thats for sure!
Thanks for the vid, very cool to watch your awesome collection grow. ‘88 R is my dream quad from when I was a kid too…just something about them. Recently got my ‘86 350X back from my brother, been in our family since 1997. Looking forward to tearing it down to make it new again
That's great. There's just something about an 86 350X!! Thank you very much for the compliment man. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm glad you're enjoying my insanity! lol
@@ThisOldTrike There sure is, tough to beat the red white and blue X’s for looks…my all time favorites. Had an 86 200X years ago, that’s a machine I’d like to own again someday.
I hear what you're saying... and you're right... but why ride a 110 when there are 200's and 250's and 350's out there!! He's currently riding a 250SX these days.
I grew up on Honda three wheelers my first one was a Honda 110 brand new from the Honda shop I had that thing for about 15 years but in between I had several other three wheelers a couple 200 exes from my all-time favorite was that 86350x if I can find one I don't care what kind of condition it is even really super crappy condition I would buy it I want one keep your ears open and remember me if you see one thank you I love your videos
I am picking up an 84 200m. First build. Road these when I was young.. hoping to have a great garage/barn find. Where/what is the best way to acquire parts
Honestly it depends on what you're looking for. If it's OEM stuff that isn't available new anymore... you're going to be looking at ebay and/or facebook groups... Or parts machines. If the OEM stuff is still made, I get all that stuff from Rocky Mountain ATV... free shipping over $75. If it's aftermarket parts.... ebay/amazon/lots of different sellers depending on what you're after.
@@ThisOldTrike I appreciate the help… I am going to pick up a new sealer lead acid battery for it, spark plug and see if I can’t get it to fire this weekend. It looked like the carb was on the machine, it had compression…. I found a guy local that says he has parts for all models but am having trouble getting a hold of him. I know I need all 3 tires. I will need to rebuild the front brake, The drum is there, the shoes are there but it is off the front wheel…
You apparently have most all of the 350xs which is why I can not find even one for a reasonable rider?! This makes me so happy and yet, also kind of mad. Ha. Beautiful.
What this video doesn't show is me selling anything. Of the over 300 machines I've bought over the years... over 2/3rds have gone on to new homes... so, even though I've bought a bunch of 350X's... I only own 3 currently... well, plus 2 projects that "someday" I'll build up.
Love the collection you can't beat those Honda atc's this videos awesome I'm glad to see somebody is collecting them B-side TH-camr Harvey Spooner looks like most almost all of them that you have are in pretty good too mint shape
Thank you very much man! I have some really nice ones, I have some respectable ones, and I have some turds too... Always trying to improve and/or upgrade where I can.
That's so Awsom... What part of the country are you in ? Also how far from home do you go to get you stuff ? One last thing if I may ask. Were do you find most of them. Like eBay or something like that ? Thank's for your time
Thanks man! I'm in upstate NY. I have personally driven to buy machines in NY, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ and OH. I've arranged to pick up machines at Trike Fest in Indiana that came from IN, MI, MO and IL. I have had my mom bring home machines from TN and VA; and also meet a shipper for me who was bringing a machine from TX to NY. I've had machines shipped from CA, TX, NC, IL, WI AND.... 2 machines from England (that get's pricey...). I have found them over the years on Craigslist, but then that transitioned to Facebook Marketplace... but a lot of time now it's word of mouth... but I've gotten more selective with regard to quality and I'm looking more for higher end stuff. I've never bought a machine off ebay or won one in a raffle... So there ya go!
@@ThisOldTrike that's great insight thank you It's funny I'm in orange county ny by pa. Do you do a lot of riding with your Trikes or just for show . I have a 85 honda xr350r it's a bike but is awesome and I got it new back then. For me I have a hard time finding places to ride any suggestions ? Thank's
All I knew at the time, was that my 200M was a ton of fun, and plenty of scraps and bruises…. The kid I had got it from broke his leg and back, his friend broke an arm… I was like cool, I’ll take it
Damn, I have that same dream man! Awesome story and collection. I like the white fenders as well and currently have an 86 200x and 86 350x I ride! 👍 I have FOUR 3 wheelers total that run at the moment and 2 others that are projects that I need to finish. Its not much at the moment as far as a collection but you have to start somewhere!
Maybe you are not the right person to ask.... I just purchased a piece of property that was a honda dealership at some point. There are lots of old parts in certain rooms some are new old stock and some are used however those areas of the building have been weather damaged and the roof had collapsed. There are some plastic pieces I believe are usable, but after spending 4 days not realizing the gem existed I found a complete what appears to be never started or ridden 350X atc I am not sure what year I think its 1985 however as the dealer was flooded in 1986 closing it for good. There is plastic wrapped on cables and rubber parts hat appears to be fresh from a crate as the front tire is not on it, it is separate next to it. It is on a pallet with a strap still holding part of it on. I am going to sell it and I am trying to get an idea on price and if I should clean and put it to shiny condition and sell it that way or as it sits. There is no oil in it and since it was stored under the first floor it has remained dry and corrosion free... It is remarkably clean new condition! It was behind a wall in a dugout area under the stairs from the ground floor.... I can't believe it went unnoticed all these years.
I would love to talk more about this and see some pictures!! My cell phone number is 518-332-3040 Please shoot me a text or give me a call at your convenience!
I have a 79 110 and a other one that I don't know the year of. I love the collection and keep it up. How much is that collection worth and how many is there in all?
That's awesome. If you need help figuring out what year you have, I may be able to help. And thank you for the compliment! I currently have 101 machines. I don't still have everything shown in the video. Some of those came and also went...
Lol, great question. I don't fish... I don't golf... I'm a very involved father and husband... and pretty much any free time I get is spent/divided up among house projects/maintenance, family time, and trikes...
I bought my 88 350D in 2009 and got a lot of flack about from my hunting buddies. “That’s older than I am”,and “why did buy something so old?”. I still use for hunting and chores - I go where the new wheelers don’t dare to go. They’ve gone thru their share of different wheelers, and I still bring the 88 350d out with them each hunting seasons. Now they ask, “ where can I get one of those?”
Man... at 56 bikes.... it's a full blown obsession and almost impossible to keep track of what's coming and going... Love it man! Keep up the good work!
I have 74 70 ATC thats all orignal I have been meaning to fix up one day.Man you got it bad!Good thing your wife dosent mind!I can only imagine the $ you spent on these.
Well you could get one to fill the empty gap of the evolution of Honda fourwheelers from '88-'00. Its also supposed to the highest selling 4wheeler of all time too. It's legendary! And it got me hooked on Hondas... I'll keep watching and hope to see you adding a Cosmic Grey '88 in your lineup in the future!
I'm a Quality/Regulatory Manager at a Medical Device Manufacturer. If I had it to do all over again though, I'd probably pursue having my own business... Might still do that though!
This is an insane collection. I'm just now getting into this, picked up 2 very poor shape 110's for $50 each intending to restore one and the other I'm going to delete 1 wheel and make it into a 2 wheel fat tire trail bike. Since last week I have realized this may turn into quite the addiction....errrrr.....I mean hobby 😅
Amazing collection have you made any Dirt Wheels magazine covers ? Huge Honda 250r fan I can only imagine the addiction owning multiple machines with different power levels, sounds and smells. What a dream man 👍

Man i remember seeing some of the yard photos in the facebook groups and drooling 😂 great collection hopefully i start building up later
Got me melting over here!!! Love it Awesome!!! Had a 200s for a while!!!
Thank you so much! Wow, what a honey hole you're describing! I'd love to see those too!
Thanks, I watched this video 2 days ago and tonight I'm picking up a 85 bigred 250 lol
Ha! Be careful! They're as bad as potato chips! It starts with one and before you know it the bag is gone!
What a collection! I'd have to say there's definitely "NOEND2IT"! LOL
Enjoy, my friend!
He was right about that!! Definitely a slippery slope!!
All i can say is wow what a collection!
Thank you so much Seth!
That is a crazy collection you have but an amazing one!
Thank you! I don't still own all of them, but I still own too many!
really enjoyable slide show
thanks. I love the balloon blue etc : )
Wow wow wow! That is a awesome collection of Hondas! It is just a astonishing view of Hondas. You have turned Japanese, I really think so!
That explains my new found accent! Domo arigato!
@@ThisOldTrike lol
Man I’ve just got an old Yamaha big bear 350 but I like new stuff but 80s and 90s 4 wheelers and 3 wheelers I absolutely love

Thanks man!! I wish I'd been making videos for the whole process... but I got a late start!!
Bro that’s one sick Collection you got badass man a lot of money right there
Thank you!
Awesome collection !
Thank you!!
I had 1 honda spree a year ago. Now I have a total of 8 hondas and 3 yamahas. Really love the old hondas though.
Very well put together video and well told
Thank you very much!!
I love that 400ex man very good trail bike!!
4:45 you are never too big for an atc110. Hit that hi/lo transmission selector when you think you've crossed the gap
I hear what you're saying... and you're right... but why ride a 110 when there are 200's and 250's and 350's out there!! He's currently riding a 250SX these days.
I never subscribed so fast! Holy shit I guess I know who I'm contacting soon for a nice Trike. Bravo Sir. Amazing Collection
HA! I appreciate the kind words sir! Enjoy the show!
WOW! What a collection!!!
Thank you David! Definitely a labor of love... or insanity.
Grew up with a 85 200x always had to roll start but fun machine
They are funny machines to kick start for sure. I stand next to them, face backwards and start it with my right foot...
Awesome great job Brother, I'm still looking doe a 1986 or '85 Big Red not as many up here in Canada
I just found a really nice 1983 atc 200! All original! I picked it because I want to bring it back to life! For sale!
Nice! Where abouts are you located??
Memphis, TN
@@ThisOldTrike that's great insight thank you
It's funny I'm in orange county ny by pa.
Do you do a lot of riding with your Trikes or just for show . I have a 85 honda xr350r it's a bike but is awesome and I got it new back then.
For me I have a hard time finding places to ride any suggestions ?
Thank's
I just picked up a nice 82 Honda atc200 with front and rear racks and a speedo!
Man! Sounds like an awesome score! Probably not many speedos ended up on those things! Congratulations!
Awesome story
Thanks man! Pretty crazy to look back at all the stuff I've dragged back to my barn...
Is 1200$ a good price for a 1983 big red? It’s all original and I would be buying it from the original owner. The machine is self is very clean.
That is a real good price based on your description.
Just get the tri Color Trx 2013-2014 Trx would finish off the collection. That’s just gold
Damnnnn …. I would love to have a 200M, I had one when I was a kid… a lot of fun times back in the day!
They're an interesting machine. Makes me wonder why they existed when the 200ES was so similar.
All I knew at the time, was that my 200M was a ton of fun, and plenty of scraps and bruises…. The kid I had got it from broke his leg and back, his friend broke an arm… I was like cool, I’ll take it
That's awesome. 😁😁😁
It sounds like you're doing great man! We'll be heading to your collection in a few years to document it's growth, I just know it!
@@ThisOldTrike This is truly an incredible collection and story you have!
@@ThisOldTrike Thank you!!!
Time how do you find the time ?
Lol, great question. I don't fish... I don't golf... I'm a very involved father and husband... and pretty much any free time I get is spent/divided up among house projects/maintenance, family time, and trikes...
@@ThisOldTrike Same here , I have 20 acres 4 dirtbikes 2 quads and 3 tractors and I can't keep up , you are the man !!!
🤩 woow insane I am speechless. I have 12 three wheels a start your collection makes me dream you have magnificent atc
Nice collection
Thank you!
This guy has a gold mine
Thanks brother!
Hahaha, love it! Awesome story!!
I recently had to sell my 84 atc 250r due to hard times man and it broke my heart!😪 awesome collection!👍🏼👍🏼
Ugh... breaks my heart just hearing about it...
@@ThisOldTrike cherish them so they last forever! For your kids and thier kids, kids!🤗

I totally enjoyed listening too ur story sir
Thank you so much! I actually this was going to be a boring video when I made it... seems like people really like it though!
GREAT STORY PRESTON
Thank you!
Just subscribed and love the channel.
Thank you!
Did I miss your Fourtrax 300fw or is that one you don't have for some reason?
I don't have one... no good reason. Maybe one of these days!
How much would you take for the cr85r
Unfortunately that is long gone... didn't have enough wheels...
@@ThisOldTrike ok
what do you do for a living?
I normally tell people I'm a salamander breeder, but in all honestly I click a mouse and push paper at a medical device manufacturer.
Those minty ATC 90’s are the bomb ! What state are you in ? I’m a Honda collector in Wisconsin.
I'm in upstate NY in the Adirondack Mountains.
What do you do for a living😂?? Nice collection in college right now picked up a big red 200e trying to learn how to work on it!!
I'm a Quality/Regulatory Manager at a Medical Device Manufacturer. If I had it to do all over again though, I'd probably pursue having my own business... Might still do that though!
Loving the videos!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!! It's definitely a slippery slope once you start down it! lol
Amazing collection have you made any Dirt Wheels magazine covers ? Huge Honda 250r fan I can only imagine the addiction owning multiple machines with different power levels, sounds and smells. What a dream man 👍
I've been in Dirt Wheels in the Parting Shot section, but not on the cover or featured or anything.
Whot price do you say a 250r trike worth as trying to buy one
Depends on year and condition.
