this is great guys! brings back good memories 👍 I'm 54 I bought my first trike when I was 15 it was a 70's tri-scat. in 1988 I bought a 1984 dx225 yamaha. tri- moto.i wore i out. literally! just got done cleaning carb on my 1986 honda big red 250 ex. I don't ride it much anymore but as been around my daughter's whole life. she is 17 and absolutely loves it. great video
I just wanted to say I love this video. All the water and mud you went through was absolutely amazing. Last week I just bought my first 3 wheeler. I’m the proud owner of a 1983 Honda Big Red ATC 200e. I can’t wait to do the same stuff you did. Happy trail buddy.
That’s the one problem with running these things on today’s trails. That third rut is missing since the demise of the three wheeler. Used to keep the bike straight while being able to shift your weight aggressively to keep it going when the trail got bad.
I was tellin yaa awhile back bout same thing happening to me with my axle on my ATC 90.. If you drill a hole through the Axel and the spindle and put a #8 bolt and nut through the hole and tack weld the nut so it can't back out ur problem will be forever solved..I tried welding mine like 3 times before I did the nut and bolt fix and it kept sheering off the weld. Those old Honda's were known for havin shitty Axel spleens and hubs... 👍👍.plus u can give her hell with the throttle and have no worries about ending up with having 1 wheel drive.... Lol.....keep the vids comin.... BTW guys are still sledin up high here in Colorado.. Got some good snow the past two day's
awesome video jus got a 84 honda 200es but it is in super rough shape. I was able to get spark and the pull start working again but the spark is very weak. It also has low 95psi compression and topend head is all oily looking. Still need to throw some oil in cylinder to see if rings are stuck a little and needs carb needs cleaning
I still have my 1986 250SX. I wish I had some trails like that to run her. For now mine just mostly does yard work, but it's way more nimble in the woods than my quad.
Haha three wheelers are a laugh, had many 200s over the years, they are little rockets! Upgraded to the 86 big red what a difference, rides like a Cadillac with the shock under the seat
Lol awesome reminds me of the ol days i had a 200 E high low range snorkel it vent crank case top rack bore it 20 tho over some crazy days lol cheers cool video .
@@syxxes yeah my neighbor had one. I ran the ring and pinion from a 250 sx in my big red.it went a little extra fast. 350 x be nice to. I heard of guys back in the day doing 90mph on them
Tony has been doing battle with those beavers over the past few days and thinks he is winning...you will never win against the beavers until you make hats out them.

82 was straight 200 I believe, es is only the 84 200 shaft driven big red then the 85-87 250es big red
@@daltonmarshall2406 your correct, sucks it burnt to the ground now :(
@@TacticalNightBoy that just means it's time for another!
Boy she does chug along good in low range! Nice to you fellas out riding!
Sled was put away and right to the ATV back in March!
That little Big Red 200 was a fancy machine in it's day!
I remember having a trike. I had Itp bear claw tires in the back and stock in the front. it was pretty good.

"Like a GLOVE!!!" Hilarious!!!!!!
I miss running my dads 83 200e so much. Gunna try rebuilding it this next year.

I did a pretty crappy job with the first weld. I just tacked it, thinkin that with the nut there would be enough to hold it on. Guess I was wrong!

Yall deserve more subs. Good vid, catch anything?
Nah, the water was pretty muddy. And too many bugs!
Love the video. I sold my big red and 250sx about a year ago. And I miss them now
I'd love one of those!
Same pack a punch my buddy had the 250sx I had the 85 kawasaki tecate 250 wow. Kinda always wanted the big 350 too.
*Just picked up a super clean 82' 200E....now I see what low range is used for!*

The trikes are some fun. I just picked up another one yesterday not running, got to make a few videos to see if i can get it running! -Muddy
Good luck!
Excelente video gracias
How do you like those ramps thinking about picking one up for my sled and trikes as well? Princess auto?
I don't remember where I got them from. Had them forever. They work good. Everything from sleds to side by sides.
Is that the North sask river in AB
Miss my 250 big red. Even tho these are 200 still so much fun .
Yeah I been looking for a 250sx. Or even a big red. They're pretty hard to find!

pretty cool those old obsolete honda 3 wheelers are still out there givin the joyz
They're just fun to ride. Everything is more challenging!
@@syxxes love how they float!
They will never be absolute
@@josephhayes5618 that is true obsolete was the wrong word
Loved the video, the poor trikes were boats
Need snorkels.
Nigel is alive!!!
He lives!
put a bunch of dialectric grease on the spark plug wires and caps.. thats likely why they die in the water
My old man says it's the breather vent on the carb. With wise words of "Been there. Done that"
future video of making a snorkel on the atc's??????
I'm in the shop right now, thinkin on it!
Still haven’t fixed the soft core?
The shock was finally done with the rebuild.
Man do I miss my three wheeler
This is bugging me why is the gas vent off?
Uh oh! Did someone not watch the whole video?! 9:15
@@syxxes I did I just commented before I saw the whole thing lol
It’s ok, it’s floating. I’ll just push it. 🤣🤣🤣
Next time it might be floating upside down!
No snorkel necessary

1984 Honda 200x bullet proof
Still runnin'!
Syxxes Performance All original ,even tires. New sprockets and chain
I did have 83 200x but I don't have it now wish I still had
The only thing three wheelers are good for is
moving cow manure.
And having fun on trails and getting around on farm, etc. Have you ever had one?
Skinny jeans in the woods, either Canadian or Washington, or Oregon
You're right...!
Hubs are cheap don't weld it
Axel isn't
@@syxxes the hub will strip before axle.
