    One thing I did not touch on in this video was pricing. The EQC starts at £74,330 which is a huge amount of money but right now you can save over 20k getting a pretty much new low miles used EQC.

    I’ve always loved an EQC. Nice video man.
    By the way, I want to take a moment to let you know that I notice all the effort you put into adding lovely editing touches (special effects etc) in this video which is really cool. Keep up this high standard… makes the video 2x better!

    I have had my EQC for over a year. The car is a wonder to drive and I still smile driving it.
    The only thing I do not like is that breaking on bumps is not good because of the weight. Agree the handling is not brilliant but good for a heavy car

    Great insight!!! I totally agree very comfy and quiet. Nice looking car downside
    Driving around bends/ corners not great to much roll breaking is kinda weird too. The range is poor and the depreciation on this model is frightening 😮

    This is the first good-looking MB, but that's because it takes a ton of influence from the GLC (as you mentioned). I don't mind the EQS and EQE, but they REALLY need an exterior design overhaul. I've had the privilege to see both in person and they are very underwhelming. Great video btw!

    • @ABAUTOAMG
      @ABAUTOAMG  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, I have reviewed the EQE also and was underwhelmed by its looks at first then it started to grow on me a bit but I still don’t think it’s a great looking car. The design is mostly due to aerodynamics. The EQE interior is lovely though, just wish it was nicer looking from the outside!

    • @joanharmonize
      @joanharmonize หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think generally MB cars don’t have exteriors that retain their appeal over time… BMW on the other hand build cars that exteriorly look great even after 10 years. TEST: go out there and observe a 2012 BMW and a 2012 MB, and you’ll see the difference. That being said, that HIGH from BMW is also their LOW, that is, their designs are pretty much similar with EVERY new release (except the coupe shaped ones they’re coming up with now), so one must ask whether they are actually lacking in creativity or not. One thing MB does better at though is Interior. They look stunning while BMWs for the most part just appear “meh”

    I've had the EQC for almost 2 years now, compared to other EVs it shows it's age now in terms of technologies, but considering it was Mercedes' first proper electric vehicle, I think they did a great job with it with a good split in everyday usability and fun power/acceleration.
    Now that the EQC isn't in production anymore I'm wondering how Mercedes is looking to supersede it, will there be a new EQC, or will a fully electric version of the GLC take it's place?

  • @rezekblaz

    When my Samsung Tablet battery has only lasted 3 and a bit years, my wireless Corsair headphones has just packed up after 2 years, and many other devices especially phones last no time - i'm not going to shell out on a battery car until i have to, even though this is really nice and probably would be the go to car!

      You don't have to worry about the battery, it has 8 years warranty and the battery has held great even in 230 000 km taxi use. 8.4% degradation.

    • @seya_eury
      @seya_eury 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For an ICE car, if your tank hold 70 liters, it will still hold 70 liters after no matter how long. Battery degrades over time. It’s like having a reduced volume of gas tank over the years. Unless and until we come up with a super awesome technology, I’m still holding onto my ICE cars. I don’t drive much compared to other regular daily commuters.

    • @dingdong2103

      @@seya_eury The battery degredes by a few percent during the warranty period of the battery. It's a concern in only the very early cars with severely underpowered batteries from the factory.

      Yeah I agree it’s lagging behind a bit. This car is actually quite old now which is why they are selling the last batches on 0% finance. With the EQE doing ranges up to 500 I suspect a new EQC generation soon with a lot more range.

    I have fallen in love with this car... but I am reminded, when you show the cool "find the nearest charging station" feature... that if our electrical infrastructure fails (solar storms etc.), you'd have a real problem finding 'gas' for that vehicle.
    You'd literally have to have a trailer with a diesel generator on it, to power the car, LOL ;-)

I think they have done it like this to save costs. I also have a 2016 C class which I very much like, but again the ipad looking afterthought display is the worst thing about it.
