These were absolutely amazing. They remind me of the old box mix only better. I may have eaten a couple too many but then I was full and had to stop. Real food for the win!
BEST narrated video ever!! You give great directions and information. Better than any other video I ever watched!! To the point very precise without all the other nonsense chatter that everyone does! Thank you :)
I love to sweeten my recipes with dates; it is so much better than sugar and adds such a nice, natural sweetness. I will definitely try out this brownie recipe. Thank you.
Raisins are far superior in nutrition (especially boron) to dates. Dates is a fad and was good to start but you can also use raisins for even healthier. Great recipe and thank you very much. - Edit also I made mine RAW with cocoa butter and powder, it worked well.
Oh darn! I've made these with an egg, too, but in that case, you need to use less water and they turn out a little more cake-like. The flax seed makes them more gooey in the center, which I prefer.
I just made these and I have to say they re not bad at all! I used natural peanut butter because that’s what I had. Does the almond butter taste less dominant? Do you have a calorie count for these?
Yes, the almond butter makes the chocolate flavor more pronounced. I do think peanut butter becomes more overwhelming. The nutrition information is directly on the recipe card on my website: detoxinista.com/date-sweetened-flourless-brownie-recipe/#wprm-recipe-container-23716
I love brownies so much. Glad to know there is a healthier version😊. I don't have a mini muffin pan. Could I use a regular one and using just a scoop of the mixture?
@@mlowe7245Did you try it? Did it work? I don't have a mini-muffin pan either I do have a silicone muffin pan (regular size) and individual silicone baking cups. I hope it would work with either of those.
@@KarenAlexandrite-aka-PinkRose Thank you for your patience. Yes, This recipe worked with my metal cupcake pan. I just filled it 1/2 full so the brownies would not under cook.
Regular butter doesn't have fiber the way almond butter does, so it doesn't make a 1:1 swap. The nut butter acts as a swap for flour and butter combined, so you'd probably need to use a few tablespoons of each to get similar results? But I haven't tested that yet!
You may be able to use a blender. But I would boil down the dates then blend. But the mixture may be too sticky to blend. Try a stand mixture or an immersion blender. Best
You can use lemon juice or vinegar. If your blender is very small try doing it batch style. Some of the dates at one time until they are all processed. Then perhaps you could add the rest of the ingredients by hand or using a hand mixer - whatever you have. Where there is a will, there is a way. Have fun with it.

Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
I totally agree with you. Great video with all good information and no nonsense.
These were delicious. I used lemon juice and added a tablespoon of maple syrup. I don’t eat chocolate so I used Carob powder.
I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for sharing your carob swap, too.
These are a favorite with my grandsons and I love that there are no added sweeteners! Great taste and texture from the dates.
I'm so glad to hear that they're a hit!
I tried twice. Once with egg, once without. Both turn amazing
same taste?
V clear presentation, lovely voice and perfect tone too. Thanks for the sharing!
Thank you kindly!

But dates have more fiber which helps to lower the glycemic index
Dates don't raise your blood sugar levels
Raisins are dried grapes which are loaded with pesticides. What you have mentioned is not accurate.

Do u think this recipe can turn to brownie brittle? I love how healthy it is.

What can I use to substitute the balsamic vinegar? Can i use ACV?
Yes you can
I can't eat flax seeds, what can be use to substitute it?
hello there, is tokay to bake them with a bigger muffin pan?
Yup, that's completely fine. You just put the same amount in each of them.
What can I use instead of but butter? Can I use regular butter?

I've heard they bake well in a regular muffin tin, too! One comment on my website mentioned using 2 tablespoons per cup.
@@DetoxinistaRecipeswhat about just making it in a brownie mold and not cupcake or muffin tray, cause i have neither
