    the clutch is a nightmare to bleed for a novice, damn clutch pipe kept popping off for me impossible to move 1 notch :D woulf been so much easier with a bolt to loosen on bleed valve , i was prepared to scrap the car out of frustration lol, also the pin ur supose to move up 1 notch came complete off for me lol but im still learning alot working on my micra a love hate relationship

    Hi, do you prefer this equipment or your home made bleeder set ( used plastic drinks bottle and a clear hose) ? I think you made that video about 3 years ago.

      I like the one way valve on this one but they both work well :)

    Hi mate, thanks for the video. Very helpful. Is there a particular order that you went though, when bleeding? Thanks

      You're welcome. You usually bleed the wheel furthest from the brake revervoir/master cylinder first and then the next furthest etc.

    Great vid! If you place bottle ABOVE the nipple somewhere, and not on the ground, gravity stops air bubbles rising back into the cylinders as you release the pedal 👌

      Thank you. This kit has a built-in one way valve so you don't need to place it above the nipple. Look up the Vizibleed 'one man' bleeding kit.

      Yes - the valve I think stops air coming back from the container into the tube - I find sometimes that bubbles in the tube (car side of the valve) sometimes travel back towards the cylinder if you're not careful. But maybe I'm just stingey with fluid... ;)@@screwsnutsandbolts

    Question I have - I bought this kit and it works great but, how do you clean the tube afterwards? The one way valve and neoprene connector sorta keep the fluid trapped in there

      If you put the end of the tube into the top of the plastic bottle and quickly tap it side to side against the bottle it should work its way down and out of the tube. You could also tap the open end of the full tube repeatedy (with rubber glove on) which should draw the fluid out.

    Is this the same on all the brakes?

      It would work on nearly all hydraulic brake systems

      No it isn't. I haven't done it myself, as I don't have the equipment

    It's not clear how this is a "one man job" when it requires that someone depress the brake/clutch pedal while simultaneously witnessing the presence/absence of air bubbles at the hose/bottle at the brake disc/cylinder, out of view. Perhaps it requires the use of two cell phones on a Zoom meeting...

    • @screwsnutsandbolts
      @screwsnutsandbolts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Zoom meeting lol :)

      Because it has a one way valve.... so doesnt need someone else to close off the bleed valve before lifting the brake pedal/clutch. Unless you have arms like Stretch Armstrong. Secondly, you can see the colour which if clean...means job done, thirdly..the most recent fluid pumped through stays in the clear tubing, so again...if its clean colour AND has no bubbles...then job done. I really dont know whats hard to understand about the product?
