The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is Lectric's latest super-budget level e-bike. Starting at $799, it's even less expensive than their best selling XP 3.0.
Key Highlights of the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 Include:
    -Hydraulic disk brakes
    -UL Certification 2271 & 2849
-Light(er) weight at just 47.5 lbs
-Stiff, strong fraime with 275 payload capacity
-$799 starting price for base model
-$899 for model with Carbon Gates Belt Drive (the model you see in the review video)
We don't find many e-bikes under $1,000 that we feel comfortable recommending to our viewers, but the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is an exception. No, it's not a top-of-the-line commuter, but it handles quite well - and significantly above it's $800 price tag.
Please check back soon to our full written review of the Lectric XP Lite 2.0, and let us know if you have any questions about the bike in the comments.

The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is a newly upgraded version of our lightest and most affordable eBike to date, the XP Lite. Weighing in at just 49 pounds, the foldable XP Lite is ready to tackle everything from trips into town to exciting joyrides with a Lectrifying twist of the throttle. A Gates Carbon Drive Belt system provides nearly maintenance-free functionality! On top of that, enjoy hydraulic brakes, Lectric PWR programming, an LCD color display, and much more. The XP Lite 2.0 also includes an option to add a long-range battery.

Really looked at my receipt for the long-range version and had to do a double take. I got a $100 VIP discount! Maybe because I ordered a bike last year? Well, I'm sold on their bikes anyway, but that's really nice. I probably wouldn't have noticed, but I was filling out paperwork for a rebate from my local REA. Doubt that. I bought two bikes last year (xpremium, lite both with full cargo packages)and I didn’t get offered a $100 discount. I did however $100 from my capital one plugin. I always run honey and sometimes capital one. So I got a lock, rack, upgraded light, and fenders with the long range belt drive for $999. You’d be surprised how many coupon codes are out there. Under 50lbs means I can take it on Amtrak. I don’t think you can charge them on Amtrak btw. Do these need to be checked (without battery)? I like the idea of train travel and having this bike as instant transportation wherever I end up without relying on Uber so much. My current e-bike needs a pickup truck to carry it around. It’s blinged out for utility and probably weighs over 100lbs. This looks like it will fit in the trunk of my Camry. I think I want one.

I wasn’t a fan of the key having to stay in but it grew on me. If you already forget your key on walking in a store then you’ll forget to turn it off the battery with a key. If anyone can turn it on at the press of a button then it’s not very secure. Unless lectric finds a way the bike knows its owner, maybe could turn on using finger print 🤷🏻‍♂️ but that can’t be very reliable

I know you are waiting for him to answer but since he hasn't yet, I will tell you that I have the XP 2.0 and am looking at this bike as well. The 2.0 is just too heavy to be loading and unloading from the car. I can do it but it is kind of a struggle. You are going to feel more of the road flaws on the Lite because of the smaller tires and no suspension but you can put a suspension seat on the Lite which should help some. The Lite also only has one gear so if you are in a very hilly area, it might not work well for you. So it depends on what you are going to use it for and how strong you are.

Strongest value to this bike is its compactness. It can live in the back of your car. The 20 inch tires are perfect. Drawback is that it maxes out kind of quick and you'll outgrow it. Ideal for apartments and last mile commutes. I would like to see this model without chain/shifter/pedals - just throttle and thicker battery.

I have an XP Lite and feel it has a lot to improve before it would get even half of the stated range here. Mine has a chain and has no derailer. That with such a weak range limited battery is giving me the signal I need more range and speed and less ghost pedaling. Sorry I got this very limited performance bike. I still use it but am getting a scooter with a basket that will leave this bike in the starting dust.

Also the 14ah is promising. Wish they would have upped the motor watts tho. At the end of the day, I'd rather have some raw stat upgrades all around than these little comfort upgrades, like a belt drive and whatever lol. However I still think this seems really promising and I imagine I'd enjoy it alot? Im also not keen on the new look of the graphics etc, Seems like a step down, like they're trying to cater to old english dudes or something. The original xp lite had a very cool and unique look to it graphic and colorway wise, and this is alot more boring or something. Best upgrade is easily the 14ah battery... but there are several clones out there that are actually good quality brands/bikes that have stronger motors and almost as good of a battery as a 14ah.
