The Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is a newly upgraded version of our lightest and most affordable eBike to date, the XP Lite. Weighing in at just 49 pounds, the foldable XP Lite is ready to tackle everything from trips into town to exciting joyrides with a Lectrifying twist of the throttle. A Gates Carbon Drive Belt system provides nearly maintenance-free functionality! On top of that, enjoy hydraulic brakes, Lectric PWR programming, an LCD color display, and much more. The XP Lite 2.0 also includes an option to add a long-range battery.
The only thing that could possibly make it better is a thumb throttle. I'm fan of coaster brakes, also.... but I can see how others aren't used to them, since cable brakes have been a standard since my childhood.
Weighing this one very seriously, Ryan. I was considering the Portola, however ... I have an XPTrike, but it is so cumbersome for little trips around this small town full of potholes. If I do pull the trigger, one the bright side, I have both tow bars for the pup cart. They sent the one for a two-wheeler, then sent a freebie for the Trike configuration. I am 6’1 and on the xp 3.0 step thru with the suspension seatpost i wish it was about 1-2 inches taller to get full extension. So if you are close and need that extra little but it may help but if around my height you may need to look around for other options
I recently received my Lectric XP Lite 2.0 JW and have been riding it for about 3 weeks. I’ve noticed a few issues, like my throttle only works when I am in peddle assist level 2 or higher, but it’s not very strong. Additionally, when I am on a mild incline for a sustained period, the motor shuts off (including the display and lights) and only returns after a few minutes. Lastly, although I have the long-range battery, I do NOT get the 80-miles that is claimed on Lectric’s website. I contacted Lectric about this issue to see if this was normal and they didn’t answer my question, but told me to check all of the connections, which I did and everything appears to be connected correctly. However, the issues persist. Full disclosure: I’m 65 years old, 5’9”, 250 lbs and only ride in the paved bike path near my home for an average of 10-miles a day. QUESTION: Is this normal for this e-bike? Does anyone else have this issue?

I really want the black, but I don't think I want a belt drive. I never have issues with my chains. The belt will be expensive to swap when or if it breaks. a chain isn't that much of an issue.. sucks I can't get black with a chain now.
I had a question about the P22 setting at 13:09: when you set the value to "2", the PAS level stays the same as at value 0, but the speed limit goes up to 20mph. Does that mean that if you're on PAS 1 or PAS 2, if you pedal faster, you can get up to 20mph but it uses the same amount of amps? Does this mean it's kind of mimicking a torque sensor, in that the more I pedal, the faster I can go? How does that feel when compared to a torque sensor? Thanks!
So it's still a cadence sensor so as long as you're pedaling you will get however many amps related to the PAS level. It is better than the speed based pedal assist though. More than likely you can get to 20 mph in any setting (or close), it's just going to depend how fast you want to get there. Of course you pedaling harder will impact the speed, it just won't impact how much power the motor is giving you.

But the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 doesn’t have a mid-drive, derailleur or torque sensor; just PA. So, is my cadence going to be all over the place? How lol
This isn’t a review. This is a Lectric PROMOTION video. Where is the evaluation?
This woulda been $699 under Trump, like my 2.0 was only $899 and was way better than the lite. Thanks Biden.
😂👍🏽
Nothing better than Conservatives being triggered by the free market capitalism they so proudly champion 😂
@@maxsilverstone8600 please show us the free market you claim that exists lol, Biden shut down our domestic energy production, and limited the free market which raised the prices on everything.
Lectric literally just had a sale for the 3.0 that bundled free extras plus a 2nd battery worth $500 for the same MSRP as the 2.0. Cry about real problems, my guy.
@@Yuusharo i’m not crying over anything Karen, in the past two years I owned over four dozen bikes if I wanted a fat tire bike, I would have bought one. I don’t want that one-mind your own business.
Hopefully soon I get my XP lite 2.0 Ship's out in July, but no date.
Did you try setting P08 above 32 to see if it could go faster?
Yes but it doesn't allow you to do so
The 20 mph is a deal breaker for me. I imagine on any type of a grade with a single gear drive, you're going to struggle to maintain a decent speed and it might be prudent to avoid any large grades.
