    Robin Williams was at Richards bedside before his death and always made him smile. They were close friends and Richard always said that Robin was the funniest person he ever knew. I'm sure Robin said the same about Richard. Both of them are sadly missed,but they will always make me laugh.

    In 1974, I saw Richard show up at the Comedy Store unannounced and come in and tried out some new material, including messing with me and my friend who were sitting around that stage.

      Same here....1987 Richard would come in the middle of the week and since it was cheaper during week days I would check out new talent coming into Hollywood at the Comedy Store. One night unannounced Richard showed up and we were treated to a full 45 minute routine of new material (and some old). My brother that I was sharing an apartment with at the time always regretted that he stayed home that particular night.
      Great times and good memories!

Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots performing live before he died. Smoking out with Snoop Dogg at the dealers house. Going to Lambeau to see my Green Bay Packers. Seeing the Dodgers play at Wrigley Field and getting a private dinner at a really cool Italian restaurant. Seeing USC play at Notre Dame. Going all over California to see Reverend Horton Heat live. Getting a massage while floating in the hot ponds in Hawaii. I also was a latchkey kid, got to see the King Tut exhibit in LA. Saw the Challenger explode and 911, both on live TV. It was basically safe growing up. I would never let my kids run loose like we were allowed to, it was a different time. Damn, life sure has changed. Thanks for asking 🙂 ☺️

      @Robert Brown women are fucking crazy, sometimes you need to show that just because you're bigger and stronger, they still have power/a say in the relationship
      1. i don't know much about the dog, but i'd kick a women out before my dog, but i feed that little shit like a young don juan and take him everywhere, off-leash too; he is smarter than most kids.. maybe Burr's dog was a shitter and he didn't have a good grasp on training/raising a dog. i think there was a joke before referring his dog to be a snappy bastard, which wouldn't be good for kids.. but i could be misremembering, idk
      2. wasn't he an openly admitted alcoholic at one point? regardless, he seems happy and is sharper than ever; gonna go watch some of his gold now.
      sounds like she's helping him be a better man and trimming the fat from his life; metaphor aside, he even looks better these days

    • @SonBrimmer
      @SonBrimmer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Robert Brown Didn’t he talk about him having to get rid of his dog in paper tiger? Pretty sure it was because he was worried the dog would attack his new baby. Fuck man, I don’t know if I could do that. How do you get rid of your dog?! Still though, just cause you have to make some hard choices in life, and give up some unhealthy vices, it hardly castrates you. Burr still has the same voice, same opinions, same humor. Id hardly call him a cuck.

      Good point. Everyone and everything turned out to have to be politically correct. You were no longer able to tell the truth because it might offend someone. You could not say what you really felt (ie: self censoring) because someones feelings would be hurt. You are now required to believe or at least except the false realities of others in order to get along. All BS Might as well add an 11th commandment: "Thou shall always be nice."
