This is the normal gorilla glass witch gets scratches at a level 6 and deeper grooves al a level 7, this one had die syndrome

I still have my iphone 4 I can’t use it so it sits in my closet completely dead
It’s stuck in an ENDLESS WiFi/iCloud sign in loop and it pops up every second not even the camera is useable i have a video of what it does on my channel I’m currently using my 6s I may upgrade to an 8 so I have better battery life
The battery in my 6s is original and the screen is cracked
(one fine crack across the screen with a tinny bit of shattering on the bottom right corner it’s not even noticeable to me unless I look for it)
so I can’t get it replaced without needing to also get a new screen because I know it would break worse especially if apple messed with it

I recently found my iPod Touch 3rd gen (Obsolete model) in my drawers in my house, the power button doesn't work but the rest of the iPod works perfect, it's been 8 years since it was locked.

It's always a mystery to me how these people manage to damage a phone to this degree. I have had a 4th generation iPod Touch for a solid 7 years now and it's still mint condition, sure, there are fingerprints all over the back, but it works.

This is such a huge favour to the environment. You are saving so many resources when you recycle/restore a phone, especially an iPhone, so many rare earth metals go into each one. Awesome work!
Be dope to see an Android restoration of this era, like a Galaxy S2. Had fond memories of that phone. I had the 4s and my roommate had the S2 back in 2011/2012. I was always jealous of the emulators he could run on his Android lol.

iphone 4 fully crashed with water damage for 18$ not such a good deal as you did before. For example like an iphone 6s for 60$. Anyway I like your videos.

Noice boi, I recently got a black GSM iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1.1 w. a faulty digitizer and a battery expanding so bad, the rear glass-cover was popping out in one corner. I just recently got the display and battery replaced and has now become a relic in my own collection for just 20$ U.S, not including the parts. Keep up the great videos Hugh!

Hey Hugh, big fan. I know this is kind of random, but I recently picked up a free iPhone 5s that is water damaged. I put it in rice overnight only to see that nothing happened. Since you do this all the time, what do you think I should do to fix it?

Open up the phone and use a blow dryer
Open the backdoor and look at the IC and battery. If battery wet, change to new one. If the IC rust, change the IC. It will be worth it because you got it for free..
Lol Loolollo the water already got into the phone, so I dipped the board in isopropyl alcohol and it still doesn’t work. Thanks anyways.

ahh nice work lovin these videos i have 2 iphone 4's both black both near mint condition got one for £3 pound works like a dream and other one witch needs some work on as there's software problem etc but that was with lot of other phones that was only £7 pounds!!! so got iphone 4 iphone 5c pink 8gb witch works it just needs new screen also came with backberry 8520 sony z2 witch has software problem and needs new screen as it has small crack carboots all the way get stuff so cheap and the auctions

I wouldn't call this a restoration. This was merely a parts swap. When you say restoration I expect you to maybe fix the frame or at least replace the front glass.
