Been listening since the start of this show, first time commenting. OMG, I would love if you ever ended up on Star Trek. I was just going through it in my head the other day, and I don't think there has ever been a MAJOR talent cross-over between Star Trek and Star Wars. At least as far as lead cast is concerned. It would be amazing if you were the first to do that and get your hat trick at the same time. I absolutely loved this episode!
Katie while I enjoyed your performances on various sci fi show I did not get a sense of you as a person until I started watching your podcast. I really enjoy your down to earth heartfelt interactions with people, the importance of family and a real appreciation of fans. My son plays in a nationally touring band called Sub-Radio and his personality seems very similar so I can very much relate. I wish you all the very best.

Parenting is hard. When our third child was like 3 years old, I put our older two on the bus to go to school went inside and was trying to just put dishes in the dishwasher and she was "why why why... can we go to the park, lets go to the mall and see puppies..." and I picked her up, walked across the street while crying knocked on the door of and asked the neighbor to just please take her for half an hour. She said "yep... I got you, go home, take a shower, watch a movie, we will eat some lunch it will be ok" and thats what I did, I took a shower, read a book on the back deck for half an hour, started the dishwasher, started a load of laundry, vaccumed the living room, had a little cry, and then went to pick her up and it was all good. Sometimes you just need a break. I was just thinking about that while driving home from my VA mental health appointment today.
Take this nice but i feel the same as you did when BG show come back from university running to check the show and the trill to it. Same with next gen stories. Where other times. Fantastic show Starbucks. Thanks so much. Bring me so many good memories on both show. And most shows miss the part to tell a story,❤ a continuing story to see characters grow on it. And that is when Mr Jonathan drive a episode. ❤. See all those characters we all love and enjoy being part of us as we grow.
almost at the end of star trek tng, first time watching it since the 90s. Very good quality, personally though always was much bigger battlestar 2000's fan. Star trek tng will always have the 90s nostalgia for me though that was my teenage years

This episode made me want to beat DragonCon attendees with a deodorant stick. That is my best/favorite con and to have guests have bad experiences sucks! I know those are ridiculously long days for y'all but please consider coming back!
If you have the interest, do just a little research into the complete, nationwide *event* the marriage of Luke and Laura was on General Hospital and the drama that happened around their relationship at the time. It was HUGE back in that day and way before social media.
Star Fleet academy didn't sound interesting to me, but if they cast Katie, then I am in! Once Frakes mentioned the idea of her being on that show, I instantly decided i have to see it, especially if it is set AFTER TNG.
As far as the cost of the conventions. If the actors themselves ran the conventions. they could charge whatever they thought was fair. They'd have to book the convention centers themselves.

You guys should do some more research. Star Trek The Next Generation aired on the UPN network. Which in LA was channel 13. It never aired on CBS during its run. Glad Trek and BSG had this coming together. Would love to see Katie in Trek!! But I want her to play a baddie.
Since TNG was syndicated, it could air on any "network". For example, when I was a kid watching the shows original run, it ran on the local FOX channel. Being a syndicated show, what "network" it was on was entirely market dependent.
