It was slowly evacuated. A full on massive evacuation would mean that they would be forced to give up on operation Hannibal. They preferred to evacuate civilians in east Prussia over an army that was holding out strong and diverting soviet forces from the main front.

I'm not sure how hard it is to script in GOH, but for the next battle I would like to see some paratroopers get deployed. Anyway love the content and keep it up.
During war i have no doubt the soldiers made some dark jokes as well, humor lightens up a situation during dark times. Yeah it’s not the nicest obviously but it’s how people cope. Your humor in this game is good and shouldn’t be a problem since well it’s just a game

Although the Germans were bottled up there and maybe not of huge strategic value they also tied up a lot of soviet troops. An interesting thing is some of the German cruisers supporting the pocket and other Germans on the baltic coast with their fire during the battles, Prinz Eugan and I think one or two others but I forget which.
Splinter camo would be worn by the Heer & Luftwaffe while pea dot camo and italian camo etc would generally be used by the $$. So the forces in these video seem like a mix of both

armored units being stuck on buildings is somewhat better than armored units ignoring obvious wall and going all the way around to the nearest road, lost many tanks this way because driver was scared of ruining tank paintjob
More infantry if possible pls. Don't know is hardware capable for it but my reasoning is that infantry was the mainstay of the WW2 and armor was really like 10%. Battles are great, no arguing about that but infantry would be much more numerous in the field.

The offense does a small wave build up from infantry and light tanks/vehicles, then medium tanks and some artillery with more infantry. And the third same thing more artillery, more infantry and heavier tanks/landships. At least thats a rough idea.

Now this is a very historically accurate mid to late war Russian front battle. The Germans defenses in depth were very costly but very successful. Costly because the Germans could not replace their loses.
Fighting war is not recklessly, we need wisdom to collapse enemy's defence battlefield. Eradicate enemy's base area through digging tunnel to collapse enemy's defence system.
The nebelwefer rocket shells explosions are not that accurate as the warhead (explosives) of the nebelwefer shell is at the end of the rocket while the rocket motor and propellent are at the front. So when the rockets exploded, the shell would explodes about waist area and creates shallow craters.
After the Germany Vs Soviet Union Battles, how about United States V Imperial Japan (ei. Iwo Jima) or the Winter War between the Soviet Union and Finland. Please try to do the former over the latter.
Here's a suggestion for a custom battle line of mg42 10 tiger tanks 10 t34s for the Russians line of whatever heavy machine gun the Russians have and a few waves of whatever you want diplex
