Based on the Battle of the Courland (Kurland) Pocket during Operation Bagration. Encircled German troops defend against attack Soviet infantry, armor and artillery! German rocket artillery is deployed in an attempt to stop the enemy advance. Enjoy!
Note: All my maps and battles are modified/not part of the original game and does not represent the finished product. Everything you see is yours to experience if you so wish to create it. My version of the game contains no third-party content. Some videos/battles may contain footage of edited damage models and gun ranges. Everything is created in the GEM game engine's editor, allowing me to make fully custom battle simulations. - เกม

This is an explosive hood classic
it would be really cool to see some sort of trench/fortification charge, large amounts of infantry charging at like a trench or something while being supported by artillery/field guns and light tanks or armored cars
Battle games are a great way to release pent up energy and frustration with life in general.
The key is knowing the difference between a flamethrower's devastation and a bar-b-que.
The rocket artillery is a cool weapon, lots of big explosions and loud sounds. Thank you for the gameplay, enjoyed it.
You should do a series where we can see historical battles
I'm not sure how hard it is to script in GOH, but for the next battle I would like to see some paratroopers get deployed.

During war i have no doubt the soldiers made some dark jokes as well, humor lightens up a situation during dark times. Yeah it’s not the nicest obviously but it’s how people cope. Your humor in this game is good and shouldn’t be a problem since well it’s just a game

The Army Group you refer too in the Baltic's was Armee Gruppe Nord (North) which became Armee Gruppe Courland till the end of the war when it was trapped in the Baltic's and Hitler refused to bring it home due to his belief that It was be ready for further offensive actions after things turned around on the Eastern Front but never did
"Hitler refused to bring it home" factually incorrect, it was slowly being evacuated.
It was slowly evacuated. A full on massive evacuation would mean that they would be forced to give up on operation Hannibal. They preferred to evacuate civilians in east Prussia over an army that was holding out strong and diverting soviet forces from the main front.

@@e.a.corral4713 Except they couldn't do a full on evacuation... All the transport ships were used up in Prussia withdrawing the civilians. Courland was considered a low priority compared to that. Even then large numbers were still being withdrawn. Even then they managed to get ~60k of them out.

The Russians tried attacking the Germans in the Kurland pocket in six large scale battles, with the very last one starting in mid March 1945. Although the Germans were bottled up there and maybe not of huge strategic value they also tied up a lot of soviet troops. An interesting thing is some of the German cruisers supporting the pocket and other Germans on the baltic coast with their fire during the battles, Prinz Eugan and I think one or two others but I forget which.
Picture perfect Soviet style attack. Just keep attacking regardless of casualties. Great battle!
For winter 1944/45 I believe there was a German offensive in Hungary at lake Balaton to try and recapture the oilfields

armored units being stuck on buildings is somewhat better than armored units ignoring obvious wall and going all the way around to the nearest road, lost many tanks this way because driver was scared of ruining tank paintjob

Splinter camo would be worn by the Heer & Luftwaffe while pea dot camo and italian camo etc would generally be used by the $$. So the forces in these video seem like a mix of both

looks kind of like Finland.you could do a continuation war from 42-44 and even chase the Germans out of Northern Finland/Norway after Soviet capitulation.
You should make the fall of Singapore involving Japan and the Allies
Singapore had these HUGE guns facing south to knock out ships but Japan went around the guns by coming in from the North through the swamps
Also you can do something with the Italian invasion of Greece just to do something a little different..Italy lost
OR you can do Italy's invasion of Ethiopia...but like no one really talks about it frfr...so that could be difficult
Layered hill super fortress with full german artillery and heavy tanks and tank destroyers. As many machine gun positions as possible for the defense. The offense does a small wave build up from infantry and light tanks/vehicles, then medium tanks and some artillery with more infantry. And the third same thing more artillery, more infantry and heavier tanks/landships. At least thats a rough idea.
I remember hearing about a pocket called The witches cauldron by the Germans that might be something to look into

Meanwhile rocket artillery can't attack from underground tunnels.
Su-122 are the short barreled Tank Destroyers with a T-34 chassis. The ISU-152 is the one long barreled one with the insane muzzle brake and is on a Is-1/2 chassis. I is for IS chassis while Su is T-34 chassis.
Su-122 is not a tank destroyer it is designed to be a assault vehicle to support infantry like to take down fortified positions don't get me wrong it can definitely destroy tanks but it's main purpose is to support infantry on fortified positions like bunkers,buildings and even trenches.
@@rickmartin541 Yes your right but Su-122 Tank Crews in the battle of Kursk describe using the HEAT rounds against German tanks due to the lots of them.

Fighting war is not recklessly, we need wisdom to collapse enemy's defence battlefield. Eradicate enemy's base area through digging tunnel to collapse enemy's defence system.

More infantry if possible pls. Don't know is hardware capable for it but my reasoning is that infantry was the mainstay of the WW2 and armor was really like 10%. Battles are great, no arguing about that but infantry would be much more numerous in the field.

Now this is a very historically accurate mid to late war Russian front battle. The Germans defenses in depth were very costly but very successful. Costly because the Germans could not replace their loses.

Here's a suggestion for a custom battle line of mg42 10 tiger tanks 10 t34s for the Russians line of whatever heavy machine gun the Russians have and a few waves of whatever you want diplex

After the Germany Vs Soviet Union Battles, how about United States V Imperial Japan (ei. Iwo Jima) or the Winter War between the Soviet Union and Finland. Please try to do the former over the latter.

The nebelwefer rocket shells explosions are not that accurate as the warhead (explosives) of the nebelwefer shell is at the end of the rocket while the rocket motor and propellent are at the front. So when the rockets exploded, the shell would explodes about waist area and creates shallow craters.
I am going to throw in my two cents hows about doing the 6 day war or maybe the war in the Falken's I think that might be cool thanks.

Hello people, can I have a bit of help? I bought gates of hell ostfront but the german camoaign only gave me 1 mission to cross the river and nothing else?
I had the same thing. I think it's a demo. More complete versions of the game were given to TH-camrs, other features will be released later. They made a post recently on how conquest and multiplayer will be released shortly for only a week long but that date is TBD. So far it's just a demo for a majority of the public 🤷♀️

Yeah it's an open beta, there will be 2 phase, 1 and 2, we are currently in phase 1, phase 2 should come soon, it will last a week before the beta is closed and the game will be released soon after.

I have one complaint about your Defensive battles you never use mine feilds . All WW2 Armies used AT and AP mines especially Germany.
