    Thanks for sharing! I’m about the same weight. Followed your instructions and the bike feels much better 👍🏻

    Have a look at Dave moss suspension setup vids. It will be different settings for rider and conditions. Rear spring too soft, can’t change on my stock unit so new shock for me. What a difference.

    I've got a 2020 gt. I dropped the forks 6mm. So the top clamp is set 6mm from the top tube rim. Took it all the wobble completely out. Front end is extremely loose because of the type of steering head bearing they use. I shifted the weight forward and then fine tuned my suspension. If someone could figure out how to swap them bearings out with tapered roller bearings.....there would be no wobble.....you can adjust the stiffness of your steering. My credentials.....I aced the YamaPro course at MMI in 1992😊

    Thanks for the clear instructions! I have that same wobbly issue. Will try this first thing tomorrow and take her for a spin.

    I weigh 70kg (11st) looking for a comfy ride. What settings would you recommend?

      Barry I'll do an updated video later as I've slightly refined it from then. I think I've got it as good as I'll get it.

    Hi dave i got a qn, why is it that my rear suspension knob tight when i trying to adjust it? It requires me to use all my strength to turn the knob. Is there any issues with it or any way i can fix it?

    • @ShiteLines
      @ShiteLines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I faced that exact same issue and if I'm honest was at the point of taking it back and claiming it under warranty. I think it's water getting into the adjuster

    Hi. I have one question about your weight? Is it including your motorcycle clothes (shoes, jacket etc)? I quess I have nearly the same body weight as yours and I think your settings should be fine for me...I will definitely try it :)

    Thanks. From your video I noticed you didn't touch your fork's rebound settings (the right fork).
    Does that mean you leave it at its' default (7 clicks out)?

    • @ShiteLines
      @ShiteLines  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mate. Yeah I left them as default. Bit have since changed them to 6 out from hard on both the tension and comp screws.

    Bad advise.
    The rear shock assembly needs to be replaced. And front cartridge with 10w compression, 15w rebound. Ohlins or K-Tech

    • @douglasalexander4348

      Or Nitron shock. If your on the heavy side also replace front springs with stiffer if you can’t run £ to cartridges. Then you won’t have just two rings showing because of soft stock springs.
