Hello everyone. I'm the guy that designed this mount and sells it via the link shown. I'm really flatter to see people making YT videos about my product. If anyone has any questions, always happy to help. Thanks to everyone's positive feedback I've received.
Burst into tears when I watched this. I was out a couple of weeks back and my BMW Navigator VI fell off its mount, now has severely crystallised screen and rattles. Makes a good £600 paperweight. People like you should be more sensitive to those of us who've lost a satnav. Thoughtless, I call it. I'm getting therapy though. And a map. 🤭
I spent £35 on a secondhand Garmin sat nav on eBay and use a normal sucker type mount, either on the inside of the screen or on the tacho. Used it for 12k miles on my Triumph Sprint, 20k miles on my Kawasaki Z1000SX and now have it on my Tracer. Rain or shine it's never fallen off or failed, and if it did then it's 35 quid! I can't understand the point of paying hundreds of pounds on a "bike specific" sat nav. Perhaps I'm just old school after 30 plus years of riding?! Or perhaps it's just common sense?...
Looked a bit expensive for a bit of plastic...but I guess that's the way of things these days..... You happy with the new screen? From my experience you may want to try and get that 'flipper screen' closer to the main screen.

Thanks you for your very informed video about the mount. Could you do a review on the sat nav wobble? Also think tracer 900 owners would benefit on a video about your view and experience of the MRA Vario Screen. 👍
For me the MRA screen is good but still lacking a bit with me being 6'2" tall but it does look good and suits the bike very well. The satnav wobble will always be there but it's not too bad. I would do a review but I no longer have the bike, I gave it to wifey who is very pleased with it. I'm still looking for a decent sports tourer, maybe the Kawasaki ninja 1000sx, we'll see, early next year :)

fitted my sat nav high level did a trip to Scotland. worked ok but the sat nav wobbles to much and you cant see it very well due to this problem. having it on the screen mechanism isn't a good idea but we live and learn
Yes the screen mechanism does wobble, worse if you have a high screen too. I found there's not a lot of options for mounting as the handlebars are quite cluttered and narrow. You can see mine in my latest video around the Elan Valley, I didn't think it was too bad to read tbh.
Link did work when the video was released, maybe the seller has relisted, upgraded or discontinued the item, anyway I've found it for you under a simple search....www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203076846886?hash=item2f4852c526:g:F2cAAOSwSnZeyU6o

but do you have to remove the screws on the sides?
or do they overlap?

Which coloured wires did you connect the Red and Black wires from the Tom Tom too.
Black to black, brown/white to red.

cant find that mount on e-bay
me neither mate, maybe ask on a few Tracer 900GT groups on Facebook? Maybe the guy that made them is still around.
Hi. Neat bit of work. Can you tell me what the 2 way connector was listed as on eBay as I cannot seem to find it. Cheers. John

@@Omar_k4 no, you don't remove anything. The side bolts slide inside the pivot.
Where did you get the touring screen and the extension ?
eBay, It's an MRA Vario touring screen, the extension comes with it.
Do you need to remove the lateral screws of the handle or those coming with the printed mount go into the existing ones while screwing?
No you leave them in situ, it is as you suspected :)
@@HepcatHarley Thanks! Are you still using it? How do you feel? I'm thinking to print something similar by myself
