Kewl tips.I'd guess allot of the watchers have the standard 2 or 4 bolt mount and just use the 'crescent wrench twist' method too.I've changed the plastic pulley for this:"Sprocket Idler Pulley Is-810 3/8" X 1.84".It also keeps the chain aligned to the rear sprocket better.@$12 online.
I just wanna let y’all know how absolutely terrifying it is when the bolt on the sprocket adapter hits the break arm going 30+mph…..always make sure it’s tight I almost got sent to the gulag.
Having the pulley screw loosten up on the stock tensioner resulting in your chain dropping off the sprocket while going up a hill at full speed is damn terrifying too, the stock tensioners are kinda shit lol.
Awesome thank you 😊 I’m a motorized bike Lover & I really Enjoy your Videos Very much.. I’m thinking of Using one of those Brackets for my Bike ..Have a great day 👍🙏
I just lifted a engine with those brackets and they you're right have to form. I used three flat peaces to counter and then added Springs on the bottom of the engine.
I agree that the 'arched tensioner' is safer than the standard 2-4 bolt type.So many with round frame tubes don't drill through the mount and frame to put a hardened screw in so they can't twist.I've been using a 'spring tension'engine mounted type, but on very rough bumps I've had the chain flex enough to pop off.Home Depot helped by having stronger spring packs available. Thanks for all the great tips and videos.
I bought one of these bikes from bike berry, and let me tell you, it's alot of work it's not easy at all, the parts are cheap, and just getting the kit and putting it together is damn near Impossible, for someone who doesn't have alot of tools or much experience with this stuff you're in for a bad few days. I had to make soooo many modifications to the bike and the the rest of the kit it was ridiculous.
@@mattmarshall1698 listen dummy not once did I say I wasn't mechanically inclined, I was warning people who aren't and who don't have the tools to make the modifications, and it's absolutely fact the parts in the kit are complete shit. Did I get the bike working yes but Holy he'll at how crap the quality is, when you buy a kit it shouldn't require an entire shop to put the damn thing together.
Great Mr Tony ,merry cristmas & happy new year dic, 24,2021. Wey shore learn a Lot with your well explained videos step bye step thanks, keep sharing from panamá,Joe & Bros ,suscribes.
I've never heard of keway bolt where do you get those I'm going over a old diamond back and narrow like that.. i switch up the fenders. High from the middle top..
Depends how much it's rubbing. But, if you can file or grind off excess material that's what I would do. Always wear safety glasses and gloves when grinding.
I have a problem with my chain hitting the frame of the bike and I can't really move the engine bcuz it's in place with the mounts and I also don't want to cut the frame not sure what to do
Are there any gas kits that have right hand drive shafts? I’d like to use my cassset and not have to instal the sprocket where my disc brakes go. Thanks
Or you could have just sanded the nut because its the nut tbat lays on your bracket tensioner.. guess You know how the brakes are aligning on the side of the wheel.. its a two piece one side rounded concave the other convex...
Dude. Dude. DO NOT BEND BOLTS! The Nylon Tensioner Will wear to the pitch of the chain. It will groove itself striaght. Again. You need a large washer, a lock washer, and a Nylon Nut on that chain tensioner. Also it looks like your rear sprocket needs to flipped around. The indent should be facing the hub.
@Lucas, dude, the sprocket only goes on one way. Note, the countersunk screwheads. Also, bent tentioner bolt is ok, it's only purpose is to take up the slack, it's not pressurized.
The clutch the motor won't roll freely I adjusted the clutch but it's still locked what do I need to do so that the bike rolls when I squeeze the clutch lever
Just got into this hobby and this video Def helps thank you

Thanks I needed this laugh😊
Delete the coaster and get a front brake
I can tell you are the one playing the music too!! thanks for the video !!
Thank you very much for teaching everything about the chain

Stop crying. Chalk it up as a life lesson. If you arent mechanically inclined you should have never got the damn thing.

I got the sprocket style engine mounted spring loaded style tensioner. No issues yet.
I wonder why its not getting mentioned.... Missed a good sales pitch. Or he's not a fan of his own product..
I would consider rolling the cut edges back to strengthen and smooth them out.

Thank you my friend! Have a Merry Christmas Jorge!!
Jeez man back to English class for ya
you do a "how to" on a straight up bolt in .. bikeberry
Tony why did you go with the angle tensioner instead of the one that goes under the clutch cover?
I've done all 3. To try to keep chain from detailing I just bent bracket
I've never heard of keway bolt where do you get those I'm going over a old diamond back and narrow like that.. i switch up the fenders. High from the middle top..
Why dont you use spring loaded tensioner?
I just drilled the adapter and rear axle and taped the axle with threads then bolt the adapter to it with blue loctite
How do you fix a front mount problem where the front studs hit the frame and the engine doesn't line up. What are my opstions.
Nice work!!
What is that bolt you put in behind the hub adapter?
Where did you get that rear sprocket and hub at ostead of the two black rubber and 9 bolts that gets sent with the kit???
bike berry
What to do if the chain is rubbing against the engine mount nut?
Depends how much it's rubbing. But, if you can file or grind off excess material that's what I would do. Always wear safety glasses and gloves when grinding.

A spring tensioner wheel mounted on the engine would be more effective and better looking than the setup you have now.
That video is in the works my man. Appreciate your insight!
Are there any gas kits that have right hand drive shafts? I’d like to use my cassset and not have to instal the sprocket where my disc brakes go. Thanks
There is a shift kit for that application but I have always wondered if I could get away with just the jackshaft.
#BUILDITRIGHT/BUILDITBETTER Thanks Tony Taylor l need to do that keyway trick. Mine slipped and broke 3 spokes and bent 3 spokes
Or you could have just sanded the nut because its the nut tbat lays on your bracket tensioner.. guess
You know how the brakes are aligning on the side of the wheel.. its a two piece one side rounded concave the other convex...
I have problems on the chain getting lose and tight when you speen the wheel
Poorly assembled rag joint/9 bolt sprocket joint
I have seen your online store, is that yours or am I mistaken?
With that question in mind, your rear tire with sprocket purchase is the sprocket pre-assembled to clear tire and frame better than most?
Okay I understand , this hobby makes you forge custom parts on the hobbiest behalf
Im at 9:00 and im like NO! DONT BEND THE BOLT! Shim it first! Oh no this is going to turn out bad.
I just bought the motor and installed it on my bike and the only thing so far is that when I ingaege
Cant see video.Captioning
Tin snips are for beginners.
Dude. Dude. DO NOT BEND BOLTS!

the sprocket is on correctly
good
That type of chain-tensioner is uglier than a mud-fence, lol, thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the world of hot rods and choppers....NOTHING FITS....
THE CRAPPY BOLTS SNAP BEFORE THEY EVEN GET TIGHT! dodgy chineseium alloy crap!
Bikeberry sucks will never spend money there again
