After riding for the while my chain kept coming off. The sprocket screws may not have been tightened enough. I had to remove wheel and center the sprocket. I snug tightened the screws. Then I measured from the axle to the valleys between the teeth at 4 apposite positions. I tapped the sprocket with a rubber mallet until all sides equaled. Then I tightened the screws (tight) and checked again. Next I measured from the bike sprocket to the motor sprocket at 4 different location to make sure the sprockets where parallel. Problem solved, now the chain runs smooth. One way to tell if the sprocket is not centered…Pull in the clutch lever and roll the bike around. If the chain tightens and loosens there is a good chance the sprocket is not centered. Thanks very helpful video.
just getting into this hobby my main problem right now is I have to align my sprocket in the back more towards the engines sprocket alignment , building on a hyper cruiser and using a sprocket adapter but so far she runs but just want her to smoother thank you for making this video gained some good knowledge.
Hey was Wondering do u know why My Chain keeps getting stuck in my sprocket Just purchased this bike about 5 hours ago and did everything as I was supposed to went to paddle away and the chain got stuck in the sprockets and I don't know what to do Could you help me out?
Your videos help a lot. I’m doing my first build ( I have no bike repair experience and no motor mechanical experience) My clutch was sticking and the rear wheel wouldn’t turn, I was able to take the clutch cover off and loosen the flower nut a bit. The flower nut was on there really tight. After loosening the nut the action on the plates is a lot better and pressing the clutch in freed the wheel up, now my chain keeps coming off. I realized that I had measured the chain length with the tensioner on at its max height, after dropping the tensioner and re-measuring I realized I could’ve removed a couple more links to tighten it up. It still jumps off so I’m thinking something isn’t straight. It’s hell.
Do you have any tips for removing a stripped Allen head on the handle bars? My bar is looking like it wants to slide, but the head appears to be stripped.
Don't give up because I almost did. Two things: 1) Alignment issues refer to video. 2) Chain may be too lose and you may need to take out a link or two. Anyway I'm building my 33rd bike with 7 more for 40. It is a challenge and face many problems, but you learn by repetition. I build vintage bikes for example schwinn choppers, spiders, and 50's-60's bikes with the suspension spring in front of the handle bars. I tell potential buyers that my bikes are for collection, display, and investment,. But at the end of the day once they buy my bike they can use it how they want. For example my personal bike is a chrome Orange County Chopper that I store and use it on Sundays then clean it up and wax the chrome and store it. Good luck!
Of all the videos I've been watching to find out how tight it needs to be...YOU ARE THE ONLY ..I MEAN THE ONLY PERSON TO TELL ME HOW TIGHT IT IS!! thank you. Really. This made my work commute way way way better
Appreciate guy!!! I have a tensioner and the chain is tight but it jumps off immediately when it gets going. I will have a to check out ur suggestions. Just bought it from someone and who knows how they installed it
Great video thank you. I must admit that I'm down to one of my last options for the chain that continues to come off despite numerous corrections and additional devices. It has to be the chain. Your video talks about an upgrade chain for the 415 chain that comes with the kit. I cannot find where its link in the description or stated in the video. I see Amazon has 415H,428H, 520,530 Motorcycle Bicycle Chains Replacement. Could you help me end my 3 months of suffering with a chain that comes off and let me know which chain is the the upgrade chain, and anything else you think may help me correct my chain problem. Thank you
Just got my first motorized bike. Got a flat after 12 miles replaced the tube and put the tire back on now my chain isn’t straight. From this video I’m guessing maybe I didn’t put my wheel on right I’m thinking my sprocket is sideways from not straightening out the wheel wish me luck. Great video.
So on the chain tensioner I took two lead 9mm projectiles"bullets" and smashed them with a bench vise. I used them to fill the loose space top and bottom and then cranked down the tensioner bolts done this on three bikes and it works really well to prevent the tensioner from moving and jumping the chain
I bought a bike set up with a new engine and kit about 2 months ago . I went through 4 chains. The first I didn't try to fix I just got a new one and thought I wouldn't have any more problems..ha. the chain would jump off and break often . I was using a punch, a pair of needle nose vice grips and an Allen key because of the kink that would happen on the motor sprocket. Chain breaks ruined the whole thing, it broke the casing over the motor sprocket whatever that's called and once it busted spokes out of the rim. I'm done with that bike it obviously wasn't the right bike for an engine. I had every issue you addressed. Since I had never even seen a motorized bike before this one I had to learn the hard way on accounts and the engine loosened first without me realizing it so that is a major one but my main issue was aliighnment, the frame of my bike made the chain tensioner crooked so it was always at the very edge of being aligned no matter what. Thanks for the vid.
Danger Danger Will Robinson, that chain guide you will want to mount to the frame above, before i learned this it slide over and into the spokes as i was at 30 mph and it cost me a couple days at the hospital, just saying ! i do like your videos and have learned from you , thax !!
K, so my son bought a 4 stroke BBR kit. I am his father and visually impaired with cataracts. In sept/october I am hoping that new lenses will help me to once again see without glare. I have had a friend work on building the kit with my son and it has taken much longer than expected, the issues thus far have been from what I have heard. The coaster break is clicking, the engine sprocket does not seem to be aligned straight as if it is cocked to the left slightly. I am. Ot sure if the motor has been mounted incorrectly? Tho installed on a beach cruiser, they were considering cutting the two metal bars that look decorative to give the engine more clearance, as it is just barely fitting into the frame, ut I recommended against it as I noticed it is tack welded tonthe seat tube then goes onto where the tire mounts. I watched a video on how a coaster break goes together. I am about to take it apart and see if I can not fix the clicking, re grease it and at least get the bearing spinning freely. It is too tight. How to adjust the bearings I have. No idea at this point, but will look to see if the bearings are all in and facing the correct way. Next issue is the engine pushed as high as the frame will allow, the pedal just barely clears the transmission on the left side, this is with changing out the pedals arms with the ones included in the kit. Is there an extender kit out there? My son ran it about 3 blox and the motor seemed to slide dow ever so slightly, smacking the pedal i to the transmission as said above. The chain tensioner is maxed out. So do I leave the engine where it wants to be? Maybe get an extension for the pedals? Take more links out of the chain? Looks like a neat concept but the cheap bolts strip out easily, upgraded them.
I got myself an adult size stingray chopper and I bought brand new 80cc kit and the chain long enough and finding it difficult to find chain like the one I have I was wondering can I use ordinary bike chain or are they to small
Hughe I always enjoy your how to videos you keep things simple so regular guys like me can understand I was checking out your getting the chain aligned but you didn't cover the problem I'm having please note my problem was created by who ever installed chain gear on motor I was getting a lot of chatter from inside the casing that covers front gear and when I did a inspection someone had used a impact driver or something similar the gear was tightened down so tight to the motor that it chewed off about a 1/8 of metal off the casing behind where the gear sets I cleaned it up and put it back together but it seems the gear now rides too close to the motor and no matter how I adjust my wheel allignment my chain is binding and being chewed up because theres not enough space between the casing and the chain any ideas on how to stop this from happening? I thought a small washer in between but cant seem to find one that gives me that correct gap for the chain to roll over the gear smoothly any ideas? and a warning to people that buy there motor on line check to see that things like this are tightened with proper tork my magneto was the same way someone reefed that baby so it was stuck right up to the motor has this ever hasppened to you?
Your videos have been very helpful. Could you do one on break in time/period for the 80cc motor. Everyone says different mixture's and time frames/miles & speeds to break in the motor before using it at full throttle. I'm going to be using this to get back and forth to work for about 4-5 months until I can get another car.
40:1 oil gas from day one. Don't go full throttle / high RPMs for long periods. You can go a little fast at first. Start slow and slowly bring up the rpms a little at a time. You do want to get the rpms up after a mile or so and don't baby it for too long. That's my way. Be sure and check head studs after 4 cool down cycles. Run bike and warm it up, let cool down 4 times then make sure head bolts haven't come loose. just make sure they are all evenly tight. Not super tight but snug & even
7-8oz first tank, 6oz second tank, 4.5oz third tank.. From there just look at the exhaust fumes. You should have barely any blue smoke at WOT during normal operation
I just got a used motorized bike.. It came without the chain and he never had a chain tensioner on it. When I put the chain on the first time I had a chain tensioner lying around but I did not correctly install it. It was hard to peddle but I kept trying anyway and kept trying to start it. When it did start it broke the chain tensioner then the chain also broke off.. My question is, do I need a chain tensioner. I kind of need this bike to run right now and no not know a local store with one off hand nor do I have any money at the moment.. Can I temporarily ride around without a tensioner if I put the chain on at a good grip, not too loose not too tight?
I have a Micargi Slugo B 4" fat tire bike with a 4 stroke 7G Huasheng. I have about 1/8 of an inch between the chain and the tire, I off set the motor as much as I could without compromising balance, is 1/8 too little or is that OK (this is my first bike build ever)
I had to shorten the motor chain due to an upgraded front motor mount and now the other chain that is use for pedaling is too long, I just got a new pedaling chain that I can adjust accordingly, any suggestions? 😢
I hold the clutch and walk about two steps, then it locks up and the chain pops off inward direction towards the wheel, why is this? I shaved down the frame bar by the chain because I thought that might fix it, but it did not. It's a work in progress and I am going to try to redo my checklist and what is advised here that I missed, but I still could use a second opinion on this while I'm at it. I'm thinking the back wheel is too far out for the spoke for it to work in this situation.
i just put my kit together im having this problem!! im so anxious to ride but my chain keep jumping off thr rear sproket. it almost looks like the reat sproket is bend it jumps of around the same part of the sprocket every time.
Man I was having a lot of fun with this new hobby my build was going along perfectly until I got to the rag joint which sucks because that’s all I have left to do along with the chain obviously after that I’ll b ready to start her up and fine tune some things here and there but as of now that’s just a dream and unfortunately I’m still living through the nightmare of the rag joint 🙄
I have a chain problem I recently bought I really nice bike with a 2 stroke kit build and the chain on the top side rubs against my tire slightly eating at the side
How about, when u put a new engine on ur bike. When on the old one the stud broke off. And on this new engine I rode it for 20 mins. And my studs broke off again, what should I do? And I welded it on. Should I weld the studs?
You have an issue w/ the engine being fitted poorly. Broken studs are caused by flex or wobble. watch this vid : th-cam.com/video/n7j3MJl-MPc/w-d-xo.html
Hi, great suggestions here, I like your explanation of the thought process on this. I'm a newbie on my first build, and I'm having big-time chain alignment issues. One problem that seems obvious to me is that the rear chainstays don't run straight front to back, parallel with the centerline of the frame and tires. Instead, they sort of angle in from front to back - so when I mount my tensioner on that chainstay, the tensioner itself is at an angle, and of course this leads to an angle on the chain relative to the sprocket. The only fix I can think of is twisting the tensioner itself to counteract the angle, and I don't really have faith in my ability to pull that off. Anyway just wondering if you've seen this before and might have any suggestions. Thanks!
@@beet3870 It's been a really long time but I think after I posted this I realized that my rear sprocket was actually mounted on backwards, with the outside facing in. Once I switched that around it all lined up nice, so you might double-check that. Good luck!
I ran into a problem with my bottom chain alignment. It seems that when I tried to Keep the bottom chain tight and straight there's not enough room for the chain not to either hit the tire ( which causes the tire to start to shred as the chain passes over it at high speeds) or the frame on the other side. The other day I was riding the bike and notice that it was rubbing against the tire so we adjusted the alignment and it was too close to the frame at that point. I took it on a test ride and the chain popped. Do you think you'll be a good idea to remove that small piece of frame that's next to the chain and replace it with a U-shaped Frame? It's either that or I think I've got to get smaller tires. Thanks for all the help
would that heavier chain not take power of of the engine ? Should you not stick to the manufacturer's recommendations when it comes to the important parts ?
It really is the best chain. AND it comes in 10 feet. The length is 5 feet on the bike gear to gear. You've got an extra if one breaks. If you don't cut too much to start.
I built a bike today. I noticed my chain tensioner wheel is at an angle due to the bicycle frame is at a slight angle. I will bend that bracket to straighten it. I have a pipe wrench that'll work great. Also found a another video that makes a different chain tensioner that mounts directly to the motor. That's probably better.
@@rich52movie I should buy the automatic tensioner. I adjusted my tensioner yesterday. I just added mirrors and dual handbrake. Pretty cool. Top speed 33.9 mph
By "chain comes off" do you mean it like rolls off the sprocket, or it breaks and falls off? Also will the #41(410) chain fit any sprocket setup that originally used a 415 chain for sure?
Well done a good video, just finished mine, the rear sprocket was a pain all the rest was easy. I am a Brit. living in The Philippines. I get my kit from Manila, any idea if I can purchase from other places? Everywhere I am asked where do I get one of these? So building more but would welcome a better place to get the engine kits
Can I usu a 415H(heavy duty) chain on my regular engine kit? She doesn't fit in the chain tenssioner but it seems to be the only solution because my original chain keeps breaking.
HoustonMotorized the only other solution is to change the bike, or I can use a heavy duty chain which is wider and may fix the alignment. The heavy duty chain doesn't fit on the engine sprocket(the small one) and neither on the chain tenssioner. May I schiff the sprocket and put some wider pulley or any other solution? Cause the alignment cannot be fixed in other way..
Need to fix alignment. Look at it and get motor drive sprocket aligned with properly installed and trued rear sprocket. If not done, no chain will say on.
I keep having problems with my links snapping on the 41 chain ?any leads it’ll kink or come off the sprocket and won’t even start the motor before breaking dam chain pissing me off need help
Follow the video, it will help you. Make sure sprocket is centered and no excessive wobble. Everything must be secure and no flex in motor mount or sprocket
Can u help me ive been having a hell of a time with my chain ive broken it 3 times now and its all staright as can be but i think i chain is twisted now
I got a problem with mine I just built yesterday the chain is touching the frame and threw off the masterlink twice so I'm gonna take a c clamp and bend the frame and. Put the master link on the other way
@@HughesMotorized ok so instead of that I took off the tensioner pulley and took and link out so it could be without one but for some reason the chain wants to slide off the back sprocket the motor is how it's suppost to be I think I need to flip the sprocket over maybe
Quit dumping the clutch and make sure everything is dead in line and you won't have chain trouble . But I got a good ch as in I stock that will hold up to those who dump the clutch . Chuck's bicycle repairs 5809 n. 50th st. Tampa fl.33610
hey man im trying to get the correct tension for my new chain because i snapped my old one and when i put it on the rear wheel stayed locked . any thoughts? Thanks in advance
I’ve built 4 of these silly bikes, and every time the problem is the chain. Always to loose then I take out a link and it suddenly doesn’t fit. I’ve been a welder/diesel mechanic for 35 years and bikes are not meant to have an engine on them. I guarantee 90% of these kits purchased end up in landfills because people just give up. Please make a vid showing how you get both chains perfectly on together during the first install. I’m sorry but it’s just luck when you get both the way they’re supposed to be. I’m seriously so upset at the moment after cutting the frame and mounting the engine mount plate perfect to cut the rear tire mount to where the adjustment slots are truly horizontal and with 2” of slide.
I've built 100s. The chain was the toughest part to master. Once I got that part down it got easier. I've built stretch ones, choppers, mini ones and trikes. You must get the engine solid. Zero movement or flex. The chain line must be perpendicular to the center of the bike. The sprocket must have minimal runout. You get those good and you will be tearing ass. If you don't, there will be snapped chains and frustration. Millions and millions of motorcycles run fine w chain drives. Just have to sort each one out. I've bought a few bikes cheap that others couldn't figure out. Don't give up. If I can figure it out, it can be done. Promise.
my tensioner keeps getting pulled in to the spokes.. I can't figure out the problem.. I tighten it but every time I start it up the tensioner moves. ..any reasons why?
This is what I did with mine. Haven't had an issue since. The frame piece where the tensioner mounts isn't really thick enough, so using some rubber pieces to make the frame a bit thicker completely fixed my tensioner spinning around into the spokes problem.
***SOMEONE PLEASE HELP*** My chain popped off when I hit a pothole. Do I have to take off rear wheel to get it back on the sprocket or can I just roll it on like on a regular bike?
When you do go to roll it on start at the bottom and roll it in slowly. Should roll right on. I see this is 4 months old, I hope you got it on there and are riding happily.
This is one issue I have. I also have an issue where my 4stroke engine doesn't idle. It starts spinning the tire as soon as it's cranked. Any suggestions for a mechanical idiot
I know one guy who lost his leg on his motorized bike doing 40 mph and he had the cheap chain that had been stressed to many times and it snapped wrapped around his leg and he lost his leg
@@josephcruz3861 YES. You can buy using PayPal off of my site: custombuiltmotorizedbicycles.com/repairs-broken-chain-keeps-coming-off-motorized-bicycle/
That original tensioner CAN be hell. I recommend a washer on the inside of the wheel so it doesn't rub. LOOK down the chain before you torque that shit to the frame or you might get stranded.
I've built eight of these bicycles already. The best thing to do is take that cheap-ass rag joint sprocket throw it in the trash. Spend $60 and get you a clamp-on machine sprocket that runs true. And you will never have a problem
I'll keep the $60 and buy beer. Once you have the rag joint down, they solid. That said, I understand your pain. Until you master the rag joint, you might suffer.
@@HughesMotorized the first 3 I installed were perfect. The next two I had problems with the sprocket is the most aggravating part of the build rest of it is fun. I'm with you on the beer. But. The beer will be gone in a couple days. That sprocket will still be there.

I have a Micargi Slugo B 4" fat tire bike with a 4 stroke 7G Huasheng. I have about 1/8 of an inch between the chain and the tire, I off set the motor as much as I could without compromising balance, is 1/8 too little or is that OK (this is my first bike build ever)
as long as it doesn't rub is all that matters
Jackshaft atleast look better compared to an offset kit
thank you for teaching people how to build bikes that one a learn education on motors I'm from Texas to bay city TX
Hey +Houston Motors my chain is a little loose should I take off a link or 2 cause it slips off the sprocket when I try and ride it?
Chain alignment issue or tensioner alignment issue
Sometimes you have to flip the sprocket around flip it over make sure you got the right straight line to your Motor
i just put my kit together im having this problem!! im so anxious to ride but my chain keep jumping off thr rear sproket. it almost looks like the reat sproket is bend it jumps of around the same part of the sprocket every time.
I have a 49cc it's a two-cycle engine the chain pop what kind of chain can I use
Chain pop? Need to true the sprocket. There's your issue
Thank you for this love your channel i watch all the time thanks hughes motorized.
Thanks for watching!
Once you get a rag joint setup correctly they are fine. Keep at it
I have a chain problem I recently bought I really nice bike with a 2 stroke kit build and the chain on the top side rubs against my tire slightly eating at the side
Sorry to hear that. Did you mount rear sprocket with offset facing out? I have also put a washer or two on axle to move wheel over
Here you go: I made a video based on your issue. I hope it Helps th-cam.com/video/PTN9JWWPF4c/w-d-xo.html
How about, when u put a new engine on ur bike. When on the old one the stud broke off. And on this new engine I rode it for 20 mins. And my studs broke off again, what should I do? And I welded it on. Should I weld the studs?
You have an issue w/ the engine being fitted poorly. Broken studs are caused by flex or wobble. watch this vid : th-cam.com/video/n7j3MJl-MPc/w-d-xo.html
do those motorized bicycle chain fit on normal bicycle spocket ? (if using a single speed)
yes, the kit chain will fit your pedal crank and rear sprocket just fine
Thanks!
Same problem here!
@@beet3870 It's been a really long time but I think after I posted this I realized that my rear sprocket was actually mounted on backwards, with the outside facing in. Once I switched that around it all lined up nice, so you might double-check that. Good luck!
In order to slow down.do I pull the clutch and press the brakes.or do I let off the throttle then use hand brakes
I recommend pulling the clutch in and using the hand brake while you coast. It will save your brake pads.
I'd have to see pics
would that heavier chain not take power of of the engine ? Should you not stick to the manufacturer's recommendations when it comes to the important parts ?
It's not that critical. These are simple motors. VERY simple motors. So NO...
@@HughesMotorized ? There quite small motors , i would think that the oem product would be suitable , have you asked the manufacturer /?
Why or what all that noise comes when engine is not running b4 its starts .could it be from them clutch. Had bike like 3 weeks only.
Thank you ❤ya got me up and running
How tight the wheel on the tensioner has to be. thank you
Is the chain tentioner wheel suppose to slide a lil to left and right when tightened on
If it's just the plastic wheel sliding on the bolt, you are good. Chain will track.
I work at tractor supply and have a kit like this on my bike too I use our #41 roller chains it is tuff I also have the same chain extractor too😂
It really is the best chain. AND it comes in 10 feet. The length is 5 feet on the bike gear to gear. You've got an extra if one breaks. If you don't cut too much to start.
I am learning a lot. Thanks.
Glad to hear it!
front sprocket isn't lined up with my back sprocket and my Frame won't let me move my engine to align them any suggestions?plz and thank you
i have two motor bikes an had similar problems,i found that both axels were broken over time, changed the wheels problem solved
My mother chatters on take off is it rear chain tension?
Loose mounting?
I built a bike today. I noticed my chain tensioner wheel is at an angle due to the bicycle frame is at a slight angle. I will bend that bracket to straighten it. I have a pipe wrench that'll work great. Also found a another video that makes a different chain tensioner that mounts directly to the motor. That's probably better.
I use BOTH tentioners !!!!! (on the same bike).
@@rich52movie I should buy the automatic tensioner. I adjusted my tensioner yesterday. I just added mirrors and dual handbrake. Pretty cool. Top speed 33.9 mph
@@johnargue2977 good luck
By "chain comes off" do you mean it like rolls off the sprocket, or it breaks and falls off? Also will the #41(410) chain fit any sprocket setup that originally used a 415 chain for sure?
Yes... if you are breaking chains, you have an alignment issue
Love the Shake tattoo! Good video
Thanks!!
She doesn't fit in the chain tenssioner but it seems to be the only solution because my original chain keeps breaking.
you need to fix the alignment problem. watch the video again and check your alignment. you will keep breaking the chain until you fix the problem

Can u help me ive been having a hell of a time with my chain ive broken it 3 times now and its all staright as can be but i think i chain is twisted now
join my FB group.. You can post some pics & a vid or so of rear sprocket spinning w/o chain facebook.com/groups/hughesmotorized/
I got a problem with mine I just built yesterday the chain is touching the frame and threw off the masterlink twice so I'm gonna take a c clamp and bend the frame and. Put the master link on the other way
you can also add washers between inside of frame and axle
@@HughesMotorized ok so instead of that I took off the tensioner pulley and took and link out so it could be without one but for some reason the chain wants to slide off the back sprocket the motor is how it's suppost to be I think I need to flip the sprocket over maybe

Quit dumping the clutch and make sure everything is dead in line and you won't have chain trouble . But I got a good ch as in I stock that will hold up to those who dump the clutch .

HoustonMotorized can you please tell me the size of the hub on a huffy Cranbrook so I can get the bbr sprocket adapter in the right size
my first buid and is a 50cc got enough power for a bmx bicycle build front sprocket 12 rear sprocket 33
hey man im trying to get the correct tension for my new chain because i snapped my old one and when i put it on the rear wheel stayed locked . any thoughts? Thanks in advance
I need to add a link to my chain, can how do you use this tool to do that
Simply add in what you need and use a hammer to put top plate on
All the available rear wheel sprockets are advertised for gas engines, is there one compatible with a MY1020 48v. 1,000w electric motor?
Nope
All you have to do is flip your chain breaker and push pin the opposite direction and the chain will break without any trouble. Try it. It works.
You should tell people about the hub adaptor. Also a real spring loaded chain tensioner is far better than that stock roller.
Coool. thanks !
Promise.
just found your video, and going to check out more, just started riding mortized bikesand you have really good info. do u sell bikes?
I can't figure out y my chain so far down starts laying sideways r they supposed to do that? It keeps coming off too
my tensioner keeps getting pulled in to the spokes.. I can't figure out the problem.. I tighten it but every time I start it up the tensioner moves. ..any reasons why?
Poor fit of tensioner on frame. Might need to get spring loaded tensioner that mounts to motor
Brianna Cayson you can also Mac Guyver the tensioner with some rubber from an old tube and electrical tape or duct tape for a short time fix.
This is what I did with mine. Haven't had an issue since. The frame piece where the tensioner mounts isn't really thick enough, so using some rubber pieces to make the frame a bit thicker completely fixed my tensioner spinning around into the spokes problem.
Brianna Cayson tighten thr bolts up more thats it
i shorted my chain and removed my tensioner work good so far
I have my bike setup properly my problem is the chain keeps snapping is it because the chain that comes with the motor is cheap
Very nice video man, thanks!
AFTER WORK TODAY I WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF MY SITUATION AND SEND IT TO YOU...I HOPE ITS POSSIBLE TO FIX
On your final tightening Go in different directions don't just go around one side than the next side one side then the next side and so far
I want to know what size of the chain so I can fix my motorbike
Anybody know why when I try pedaling it keeps slipping?
Try a half link they just saved me from having to re mount the engine
What if the chain get lose and tight just from turning the front wheel
***SOMEONE PLEASE HELP***
My chain popped off when I hit a pothole. Do I have to take off rear wheel to get it back on the sprocket or can I just roll it on like on a regular bike?
When you do go to roll it on start at the bottom and roll it in slowly. Should roll right on. I see this is 4 months old, I hope you got it on there and are riding happily.
What kind of chain is that
This was so helpful 💪👍
What size is the upgraded chain ? By any chance is it a 420 or 425

I need a upgraded chain how much
+ - 1" or 1" total, making + - 0.5"?
I know one guy who lost his leg on his motorized bike doing 40 mph and he had the cheap chain that had been stressed to many times and it snapped wrapped around his leg and he lost his leg

That original tensioner CAN be hell. I recommend a washer on the inside of the wheel so it doesn't rub. LOOK down the chain before you torque that shit to the frame or you might get stranded.

I’ve been having problems with my motorized bicycle chain
Same
me too, i also have issues with the throttle, my engine sputters but no power
Stay away from the 415 chains 415H is ok but the regular 415 is horrible
