    Had mine for 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. Ordered new Michelin ps4's for the car in size 255/35/r20 which is a better all round daily tyre with more sidewall.

    I really love your wheels, I might get a type r for my birthday and I’m definitely worried about the stock wheels that come with it so I’m tryna get some 16 inch 6 spokes or somethin for sure. Plus they make the car look a lot better than with the stocks

    I still got the 20 stocks on after a year. Im in NC Winston Salem Area so i aint gotta worry bout potholes much. Moved down here from Long Isle about 3 years ago. If i were still in NY id swap em for 18s mos def

      +Slap Boogz I immediately swapped to 18s after I popped my tire going over an exposed manhole cover. 😂

    How's the TYPE-R going for you? how many miles you got on it and any issues with the car now?

  • @deehrockz

    Just bought my 2017 type r. I'd like to get the same tires and rims. Do you have a link to the exact tires and rims? Ive tried browsing on the forums and nothing makes sense to me (offset,tire brands, etc) I've been worried that the tires wont last long on my car, I usually drive 200 miles on the weekends on trips. I just want tires and rims that last a good while that fit on without any mods. Thanks in advance.

      My wheels are VMR V701 and the tires are continental Extreme Contacts. If you contact VMR customer service they are extremely knowledgeable and can help you pick out the right setup.

    Have you had any issues with the transmission grinding while changing in and out of gears?

    • @thedrivethru7235
      @thedrivethru7235  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No grinding for me, but 2nd and 4th gear seem to be a common issue.

    Alright I need some answers please don't laugh at me for asking but I just bought a 2017 Honda Civic hatchback sport💙, and I live in Mass so you know it's starting to get cold, I get made fun of by my supervisors because I have started to warm up my, is it necessary because in the beginning when you turn him on he is loud but as the meter starts to go down he gets quiet meaning he's warming up, but should I go in warm up my car? This is my very first car I've owned, and I'm definitely not trying to ruin my engine.

    • @thedrivethru7235
      @thedrivethru7235  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Thuan Carson new engines do not need to sit idle to warm up. You can definitely drive it right after startup, just don’t drive it hard until the oil gets up to temp.

      i was always taught that it is always safer to heat up your car always, 5 mins before driving or wait once it hits below 1k Rpm. it is healthier for the engine.

    Why does everyone go down to 18s in stead of 19 inches?

    • @thedrivethru7235
      @thedrivethru7235  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me I was just personal preference. I liked the way 18s looked on the car vs 19.
