    We need Can Am Spyders on every car lot competing with the mini cars and motorcycles of the world. These three wheelers make so much sense with todays microchips, we can all switch to three wheels and stay on top of things.

    All great and useful accessories. You will soon realize that the drink holder accessory is a necessity; it is my only accessory on my handlebars as I prefer them uncluttered. Good video Chris. Cheers! P.S. I also plan to do a similar video for my Sea-to-Sky

    Just stumbled upon your channel. I must say I love the content. I’ve binged watched a few videos. Since the Spyder is your only vehicle and you live in NY, how do you stay warm in the winters? I’m impressed that it’s your only vehicle. Hard to do when dealing with 4 seasons

    • @SpyderChrisYT

      This will be my first winter. I bought it in March, and have ridden in light snow and cold temps. But the real test will be the full winter.

      @@SpyderChrisYT can’t wait to see more videos. Especially winter riding.

      @@JamesNolan if you search back to March of this year you can see a video of the Spyder is light snow. More will obviously come this winter.

    I also bought my Can-Am 2023 F3 Limited the same month you did I’m loving it as a Cadillac of bikes lacks the power on top end.

      Definitely noticeable difference in power when coming from a two wheel motorcycle. Power to weight ratio much different.

    Good video. Still thinking about the back rest.
    Note that you cannot jump the battery through the tender lead. It should have a 5A fuse in it. Not enough for a jump but ok for charging. A small jump box is an option but has to be clipped to the terminals. Investigating one currently myself.

    • @SpyderChrisYT
      @SpyderChrisYT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Geez, the whole reason I bought the clamps/tender lead cable was I thought I could get a jump using it. I guess it’s back to the drawing board.

    • @bigmanmoto9897
      @bigmanmoto9897 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @SpyderMinimalist Still a good add. Always best to keep it on a tender when not in use. My experience has been long battery lives when doing so. We will see with this one. A lot of negativity about the OEM batteries on some forums.

    2023 Spyder RT brand new at my dealership marked down to 20k flat. Seems like good deal ya?
    I’m new to the spiders. I grew up on snowmobiles and quads. Gotta bad left knee so I’m really thinking hard about this!!!?!?!!

    When you get off the ride with the engine running your night want to downshift to neutral before getting off.

    Hi Chris hopefully you got your credit card & wallet back from when you gassed up the other day? I did my own installs on quite a few electrical items & don’t have any experience in this previously, makes things easier when they’re plug& play! Ride safe . Regards Stephen Alberta Canada.

    Why not use glove box usb

    • @SpyderChrisYT
      @SpyderChrisYT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was pouring rain today. The glove box would have to be open to use the cable, so contents would get wet.

    • @DFWMoose
      @DFWMoose 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You can easily get an extension and route the cable through the handle bars. I believe Lamonster Garage has a video on it. The stock cable is much longer than it seems and is simply laying the dash and its bottom fairing material.
      The 12v plug on your power supply will work with a $9.95 adapter to trickle charge the battery, assuming they attached it directly to the battery and not needing the key on.

      You can’t use your iPhone from the glove box without another extension cable!

    • @RobS-z5u
      @RobS-z5u 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I just plug into the cord in the glove box. It closes with no issues on the iPhone cord. Around the lid if the glove box is foam seal so no sharp edges rubbing against the iPhone cord.
