Vvivid light smoke headlight tint install

In this video I will do a vvivid light smoke headlight tint install, I want to reduce the chrome on my headlight by doing an install of the vvivid light smoke headlight tint, This is the same tint film that I've used on my brakelight tint diy video.

And why are folks tinting lights these days? Because oem's have started installing infernal 5000k and higher lights: they are glare monsters and a safety hazard on most 2 lane roads at night.
I really like how these turned out.

Great video, the tint looks great and i am looking to put this on my 2020 540i. I only have 2 concerns wich im sure you are aware of, the amount of light output reduction and the purple shade. Any extra incite?

Thanks for the comment, At night driving expect about 5% reduction in light output in my opinion. Also these were light smoked tint (light gray in color before the install) they don't look like purple shade of tint. Probably only the thumbnail & video it might look like a bit purple.

Hi, The light output is a bit dim than without the film, But not too much to get attention for getting a ticket.
I've noticed that you have a pug, My pug just passed away last Christmas and He is only 12 years old. I still missed him until now, anyway

Abdul, No need to worry, You can always re-do it to fix the problem, it's just a cheap film. That's how I learned, Just do it and fix it if not perfect.

I know I tried on a 2014 equinox headlight needless to say I ended up with a ruffle pattern at the top which caused creases😞☹️😫

Kinda? Maybe, but in the actual headlight it's smoke grayish film looking, which is the one I really needed, I don't want too dark that it's hard to drive at night because you can't see anything.
